i have been going to Queen Nails for the past 8 years and have always had great service till the last few months. I have had to wait 20 to 35. minutes for my appointment. The last time not only did I have to wait 35 minutes and when 3/4 of the way thru with my pedicure a person came in and I was told someone else would finish and Sarah started working on the client that had just walked in. Came in to do my toes. The finish was extremely rough around the edges, and hardly even dry. I pointed that out to the lady that was doing my toes and she got extremely rude, went on a rant in a language I couldn't understand and just walked off. I asked the supervising lady to make an observation of how the nails were done, she was plainly lost for words. I asked her twice for her to tell me what she thinks, then she finally said she thought the nails looked okay. I basically decided to leave since even the manager couldn't address the situation. They charged me full price, paid it, never going back. I suggest you dont as well. read more

(I was getting a dip refill) she started the electric file and it was so fast it burned me SOOO BAD that I pulled back and she got mad at me and rolled her eyes?! THEN when I was trying to tell her about my broken finger she again rolled her eyes and asked me.." do you want this done or what?!?!) I walked out and NEVER WILL GO BACK! I've came here once before telling my mom and sister about this nail salon. Things were pretty good in the beginning. The ladies were nice, and the areas were clean. But when it came time to check out they totally disregarded the price board and guessed what they thought each nail set costed. Solar nails is $50 max, and $5 extra for mermaid nail polish. We were charged $170 w/o tip. She looked over at each nail set and just thought of a good price, when that aren't even the real prices. Never coming back. read more

Today I had a pedicure with Cathy for my first visit to this salon. I have to say, this is probably the best pedicure I've had in years. She did such a beautiful job and took the time to make sure my toes looked perfect. The massage she gave me was out of this world. I will go back again and will definitely ask for Cathy. The reason I gave this review 4 stars and not 5, is that when I went to pay my bill, she charged me $10 more than the posted price that was on the wall. I expected to pay $40 plus another $5 for callous removal for a regular gel pedicure. So I was surprised when she said it was $55.00. I tipped her another 20% and didn't question the price as I didn't want to embarrass her. But I hope it was an honest mistake on her part. Again, she did a wonderful job and I will go back to Queen Nails. read more

I started trying for an appointment on Wednesday with no luck. I was not offered a future appointment, but I was told to try back the next day. Tried again on Thursday, same result. And then Friday. Friday was finally told to try again Monday again. No future appointment is offered. I miss the last owner. They ran one of their best nail techs out of there, too. Was told she started her own shop, but of course, they won't disclose where, so I am guessing they ended on bad terms. Finally, it's time to try a new place. Today was my first visit, only $15 for a fill-in acrylic. I really enjoyed the ambiance, it was quiet, and relaxing. You get a free soda while getting your nails done! I'll be back. :) I also returned a few days later to get a pedicure, for only $22 you get paraben wax on your feet with an incredible massage, and exfoliating scrub. For $5 extra you can get the callus remover! Totally worth it. The owner is so nice! read more

If I could give 10 stars, I would. I went in without an appointment. I was greeted by a woman that was with another client, but she was still warm and welcoming. Often, you walk into a nail shop and it doesn't always feel welcoming. Queen nails was far from this. I knew who was speaking to me, she made eye contact, greeted me, asked what I needed and asked if I was available to wait. SURE! :) She started my nails (I didn't catch her name. Assuming she's the owner...) Linda finished them. They both made sure my nails were to my liking. You can see from previous review pictures that they are meticulous, which is why I tried Queen Nails. I am not disappointed. Linda paid attention and knew what she was doing. The space is cute and clean and didn't smell like fumes. My nails look FABULOUS and clean and exactly how I like them. Yay! This place is awesome. I'm a licensed cosmetologist and have been very weary of nail salons just because I know of what disturbing diseases you can catch from them. I had my first pedicure in a long time here and this place is soooooooo clean and the staff is so sweet. The regular pedicure is awesome! And only $25, not to bad at all and you can get paraffin wax. I really wanted to love this place, I truly did but I can't lie. I scheduled a same day appointment for a Shellac Manicure. I came in early, they seated me which is where the 2 stars come from. I was willing to wait but they weren't busy at all. I sat down, picked a color and we got started. Unfortunately, my nail tech was tired and in a rush for some reason so my nails look pretty crappy. There are air bubbles, lint and other things in the polish. My nail tech didn't push back my cuticles on one hand or file my nails. My hand/arm massage was half done and she forgot to turn on the nail light several times. Their card machine was down so they asked me to go to Dollar Tree to get cash back. Dollar Tree just so happens to only give $10, $20, $50 cash back so I go back to tell them. They tried to talk me into getting $50 back and giving me change... No. I'm not withdrawing $50. They tell me to get $20 out and bring back $5 at a later time... They're kidding, I hope but no. They aren't. They ask me to bring it back next time because they assumed I was a happy customer that would return. I never used to get my nails done but to help me break my bad nail biting habit, I've started. I've been giving different salons chances to WOW me and I have yet to come across one this bad. This is all after they tried to talk me into getting fake nails. I started to think because I wasn't paying them for a full set, they just brushed me off like I wasn't paying at all. Oh, but a full acrylic set costs the same as a shellac manicure. I'm pretty pissed, to say the least. read more

The stuff there is very pleasant, they are reasonably priced, and they are very cutting-edge with their products! They have all of the new polishes and new ways to make nails look beautiful.
