I went to get my acrylic nails removed. She did a horrible job. As it was done same time, she could have offered some lotion and at least polish my nails. The nails are uneven, rough. They charge you $15 and tip. When I had the acrylic done, the service was excellent. When you don't get re-done that's when they do bad job.

They always get the shaping right, are able to go above and beyond, fit me in even in a time crunch, and recreate any of my Pinterest inspo. The staff and owners are super kind and professional! I recommend this salon to anyone! I will never cheat on them!

My pinky still hurts after a week of it being cut, that's how you know it was a deep cut.

This is my 2nd visit at Vina Ann. I recently moved to the Vancouver area from Portland where I was with my last nail tech for 6 years. I couldn't do the 45 mins drive to see my go-to and had to find a local shop. I only get French Pedicure and I hate to say i'm neurotic about how thick I like my french tips lol so judging a shop on communication with how I like my french tip was gonna be my deciding factor of who will be my next go-to shop. I tried 3 different nail shops in Vancouver, WA and Vina Ann is now my go-to! Not only Vina Ann best in service, they were super patience with me on getting the thickness of my french tip the way I liked. The staff was super nice and kind. While the shop isn't super upscale/modern and smaller, their service was 10/10. You may ask how can I judge their kindness? I'm vietnamese and never let shops know I can speak/understand Vietnamese to see if they would talk badly about either myself or their clients...and the biggest reason why I didn't return to the other shop, was their bad manners thinking their clients wouldn't understand and during my two visits at Vina Ann, I never heard them once say anything mean or ill of their clients.

I've tried different salons in Vancouver for 3 years and haven't found one I liked until now. I've been to Vina Ann's three times and each time my nails look amazing! I tried Ann first and then Danny. They both do excellent work and are very precise. It's the first time in 3 years that all my nails are the same shape, size and put on straight. (By the way, I had Ann cut off the awful set I had done at another salon and start over because I couldn't stand the big, thick, weird, shaped nails I've been getting everywhere else.) If you're a perfectionist, this is the place for you!!!! P.S. They are also so kind, sweet and work at doing the best job for you!

I have had my nails done there ,they are a husband and wife team with other workers of course. The vibe of this shop is relaxing and soothing,I totally love the way they have decorated their shop. The couple is very welcoming and nice,when you get your nail services done there you will be relaxed and the stress of your day will melt away . I've been getting my nails done here for nearly 2 years now anytime I'm in town. She over filled my cuticles with acrylic powder and that's how she cut my skin. My pinky started bleeding and she tried laughing it off. It's ok to make accidents but she did it twice. I came here to get my toes done. My nails were cut so short it started to hurt real bad on the corners of my big toe and then I was rushed to the counter to pay which was strange and rude because they knew I was with a party. read more

I can't speak to how this salon was with the previous management but now with Danny and Ann it is great!! The first experience I had wasn't the best and I did leave a bit disappointed with my nails but it wasn't just their fault. I was getting a new set and when Danny asked me about length I said "long". He cut the first one and showed me and it looked good but once they were all cut and had the powder applied they were terrible short and I was immediately regretting my decision since I looked over at the woman next to me who was having Ann do her nails- she had also said long and her nails were what I wanted. Danny was very nice about it. He apologized and they ended up giving me a $5 discount because they could both tell how unhappy I was. I'm not one to only give a place one chance, especially when the quality of the nails was so good! I waited a while for that set to grow out and break and I went back and had a new set put on and it was perfect!! I've now been going back every 2-3 weeks for fills and have yet to be disappointed again! There is another woman that has done my nails this last time and she did my pedicure also and it was one of the best massages I've ever had. She paid attention to my body language and could tell what I was enjoying and she did more of it! If you're looking for a salon in the Vancouver area I would highly recommend this one!! read more

What a great find! First time here today and we had a great experience. The place was neat and organized. I love the idea of having a plastic cover for the soaking tub. I've been to several nail salons and they were never this clean. I was scared that I might get some form of skin infection. I am so happy to find this place. We were provided with great care and friendly service. Prices were fair too. Highly recommended! read more

Came Sunday morning with my hula sisters. Danny, Ann, and Van gave us the organic deluxe pedicure an it was amazing! They were so friendly and professional. It was so relaxing and the massage chairs along with the foot massage made us almost fall asleep. Highly recommend. Will come for sure visit again when we're back in town. Since I moved to Vancouver, I have been looking for a nail salon that I could trust and feel comfortable with (especially in this strange COVID time). And I'm so happy I found Vina Ann! anytime I need a self care break, or anytime I just feel like getting my nails done, they are available!!! Arrived for my appointment and my tech was waiting. Water was perfect temp. She was attentive and my Pedi turned out perfect. I'm pretty picky..not rude but I love it when my toes are fresh!!no excess paint, she reviewed length and all were straight. I know your thinking basics right? Unfortunately, most places require me to point out can you even this one up or remove the excess paint from my skin. Got what I paid for as it should be. read more

Very very nice staff. Unfortunately my pedicure was the worst I have ever received. The skin around two of my nails was cut too far in and I bled all over. Several towels were needed and it was still bleeding when I left. I'm not sure if she was distracted or working too fast or what. One toe I understand but 2?? It was very painful and took a couple of weeks to heal. They did offer a discount but it didn't make up for the experience. read more

(Late review) nails for my highschool winter formal. What I liked most about this place is the shaping. It was not lopsided or too thick, the shaping was also what I asked for. Even with my smaller nail bed she managed to make them look very good! And the price was not crazy, overall it was a great set :) read more

If you had a nasty experience with the previous owner, please give this salon another shot! They are under new ownership and I cannot tell you how much I enjoyed my visit yesterday afternoon. Not only did they dramatically extend their color options, but they added more options for the dip. The overall service was spectacular. They were warm, friendly and extremely accommodating to any request. The leg and foot massage that I received with my pedicure was incredible and I would go back again JUST for that. Danny took his time on my nails and they look amazing. He made sure I was happy with my service and asked me many times throughout of I needed anything or if I was OK. I will 1000% be back again. So happy it's under new management! read more

I got my nails done by Trish and she did a great job! I appreciate that she asked me multiple times during the process if I liked how my nails looked. I don't think it was her fault, but the clear coat didn't settle right on some of my nails so you can see some lines. It's an easy fix though. read more

I was in town visiting for work and wanted to get my nails done. Not only were they friendly but they did an amazing job on both my pedicure and full set manicure. They offer you a drink which in the time of COVID is unheard of so that's neat. I was able to enjoy my massage chair and a mimosa. If I am ever in the area again this is where I will go read more

She really took the time to explain everything and answer some questions I had about the Neveskin procedure. She let me know what to expect and when. How it would feel during and after. She did a phenomenal job on patient education. She did it with so much patience and with a smile. Highly recommend going to her for whatever you need. I was also explained the packaging and pricing without feeling forced to buy or pressure. Now for the part I was a little disappointed with. Because I didn't have a jowl or turkey neck she decided to do the hybrid facial. I spent $149 for 10 minutes of the neveskin and a 10 minute cold facial. So in total it was about 25 mins. I felt like I didnt get my moneys worth. I understand it's just a promo but if I'm not getting one full session how will I determine if it works? The studio is clean and well organized. Lots of free parking as well. ***I highly recommend this place, they offer a lot of great beauty services. I had a very enjoyable experience! I am going to see how my face responds to my treatment. I would love to continue with a few more sessions.

I've been a client of Danny for about 10 years (when he was in a prior salon) and I'm thrilled for he and his wife, Ann, to have taken over this salon. It's a longer drive for me, but well worth the extra time. The new owners are clearly concerned about cleanliness and hygiene, particularly in the pedicure sinks. There's a relaxing atmosphere in the shop, and customers are offered a complimentary beverage at the start of their appointment. I have a great deal of arthritis in my hands and feet, and Danny has always been very mindful of not causing me any additional pain. His work is meticulous, and from pictures I've seen, so is that of his wife and other techs in the shop. Give this shop a try, and you won't be disappointed. read more
