Natural Nails in Salmon Creek (Vancouver, WA) is my go-to for manicures and pedicures. I've been a customer since it first opened. Over the past 15+ years, it has had different owners. Tai has been the owner for the past several years. All of the nail technicians are excellent, including Tai, Tina, Nikki, Ann, Lin, Ryan, and Vy. The quality of the manicures and pedicures is high. I go once a month to have a deluxe manicure and a deluxe pedicure. Tina is my nail technician. I pay more for gel, because it lasts all month long. What really impressed me most was their safety protocols during COVID. Even before then, and now, it is a clean place with sterilized nail tools. There is no nail salon odor, as is typical in other salons. For the past 15+ years, I've had no issues with my nails. In fact, I get compliments frequently. I choose a pink-nude color for my nails, because it looks more natural and professional. I keep my nails short, because I use the computer a lot with my job. I also have a 2 year old granddaughter, so I don't want to accidentally scratch her with longer nails. I use a darker taupe color for my toe nails. Matches everything. My daughters love receiving gift certificates from Natural Nails for birthday gifts. If you love having soft and beautiful hands and feet, visit Natural Nails and they will pamper you. Their prices are reasonable for what you get. I love their massage chairs, when I get pedicures. Tina always asks me what I would like to drink. I prefer water. I've seen others having mimosas. My daughters used to go to other nail salons, until they came with me to Natural Nails. Now all of us go to Natural Nails. My eldest daughter has had her nails done by Ryan and Ann. She only goes once every few months because she's married, works, and has three young children. My youngest daughter goes every other month. She commutes for work in Oregon, and works the night shift, so her schedule keeps her really busy. Her nail technician is Nikki. I'm married and a grandma of 3. I'm an empty nester. I work too. But my office is local. So I'm able to go monthly. Natural Nails is addicting! In a good way. read more

Had been going here for 2 years and enjoyed the experience and service. Not sure if management changed but my last visit is now my last visit. This is the first time there was a gentleman there seeming to be in charge - answering phones, checking people in and out. He asked me what service I wanted and I said Classic pedicure with gel polish (same as I always get) which is $50 per their price list. They do also offer a Deluxe pedicure with gel for $85. He proceeded to perform my pedicure and I did notice he did some things different that I experienced in the past. I assumed they made a few changes to how they do things. However, when I went to pay he told me $69 instead of the normal $50. I realized he was charging me for services I didn't ask for (oil mask and hot stone massage + who knows what else) that he choose to perform on his own. At this point I didn't argue because I don't like to create a scene and it is pointless to argue with someone this appalling and I will never go back. While I was receiving my service I heard another client arguing with him at checkout but thought nothing of it but now suspect maybe the same was done to her. By doing this you get more $ from customers for that day but if you are now wondering why they don't return this is it. Sad because the technicians themselves are nice and do good work. Not their fault at all. I rated 2 stars because the quality of the work is 5 stars however the dishonesty is negative stars and a total deal breaker. read more

Best nails and service!!! I'm picky about my nails, I like them a certain way. I love I go in and see Ty and I can watch my shows on my phone and not micromanage and they turn out amazing every time! I'm not super creative so I go in with a thought and Ty ALWAYS creates something new and creative for me! I highly recommend Natural Nails, you will not be disappointed! read more

This is my favorite salon and I am so sad to be writing a review, but I was so bothered by my last visit I thought I'd address it. A woman near me was getting a pedicure and the technician was very clearly sick. She coughed on the lady getting a pedicure throughout the hour or so. I was quite surprised to see that despite all this violent coughing and sneezing that she wasn't wearing a mask. Most technicians at this salon wear them regardless. Although this did not happen to me, it saddened me to see this technician working while sick, especially taking care of older clients who are often fragile in health. I know times are tough and they are likely understaffed, but I would have waited longer to make sure only healthy staff were taking care of us. Otherwise, I love this salon. They get me in quickly with appointments, have a great color selection and work fast. read more

I've been here several times and had and ok experience. Everyone is friendly so that's not a problem. This time I left with a sore toe. I figured it would go away but no, it's gotten worse. A swollen infected toe and it hurts to walk, put on shoes, even wear socks. It's horrible, this has never happened to me and I get pedicures regularly. I don't know if this is due to lack of sanitation or what but when I called, they said "oh sorry" and that was it. read more

I moved back to the Ridgefield area after 10 years in Oct and have tried 6-7 nail salons since then. This is the only salon I've found that I can totally count on. My rule of thumb is always try 3 visits before making a decision to stay or go. Today was my third visit and just like the two before I left happy and confident. No delayed wait times, no rushing, clean, very thorough, and true talent. I do not have one specific tech I ask for I've seen someone different every time and they ALL have been awesome. This salon is super well managed and organized and I love it. Great color selection and pedicure selection. Thank u for bringing my hunt for a nail salon complete. I will be back and I will recommend! read more

Crappy rushed service. Horrible sloppy looking nails. Very dirty salon. I will never come here again....

Removed 1 star after posting with 5- My nails usually last me 3-4 weeks with gel/shellac... they only lasted me 1 week after coming here. :( read more

Had Nikki do a French manicure for me. She was very patient and made sure my nails looked great. I appreciate her attention to detail!

Every time I come here the salon is clean and relaxing. They play music unobtrusively, they keep everything sealed in autoclave packets. I have seen the staff cleaning thoroughly between guests during my manicures and pedicures. They are organized and have everything laid out nicely for you- a nice book of the gel colors, a booklet and samples for the scrubs. The staff will chat with you if you'd like and will also let you do your own thing if you'd like. Their prices are also fantastic, and they take their time. Annie is an absolute gem- she is skilled and so sweet. This is the only salon I will go to in town. read more

Thai, and his wife Sandra, are amazing! I have been going to them for roughly 4 years and have never been disappointed with their work. They have recently taken over this salon and I gladly drive from Camas, WA just to see them! Their work is exceptional, and you feel welcom as soon as you walk in the door. CHECK THEM OUT!! You will not regret it! read more

Honestly my absolute favorite place for pedicure and manicure. I've been going here for years and it's always very clean! They have so many options for color, acrylic, etc. 10/10 would recommend read more

Came here for the first time last Thursday. I've been looking for a new nail salon as the quality of the one I've been going to for years has declined. I don't know the name of the lady who did my gel manicure but I think she was one of the owners. Older gal. Really sweet. I walked in & was serviced right away. I really liked that she took her time & didn't seem rushed. She was gentle & I didn't experience any pain as I usually do when my cuticles are being trimmed. It's been three days since my manicure & they still look like I just got them done. The last gel manicure I got at a different nail salon started chipping on the third day. The only negative is that a third coat of polish could've been done. On some of my nails, it's not fully colored & I can see my natural nail bed color. I want to get a pedicure soon so I'll definitely be coming back here. read more

Don't know I'll go back. She didn't touch my cuticles, let alone the hangnail I have, but she also didn't do the hand massage. Disappointing. read more

Update: Returned again, this time with a friend as walk-ins for mani pedi's, received immediate great service, and again the upgrade was well worth the price! I asked for a Halloween detail and got exactly what I was hoping for! This will be my main place from now on! Called at 230 to schedule a 415 mani pedi. Arrived a few minutes late but they were ready and waiting, sat me in pedi chair immediately. I showed a photo of the nail color/design I wanted, and they helped me pick the right color. Opted for the deluxe pedi upgrade with scent-tangerine for $45. This gets you the standard wash, nail trim/buff, and color as well as foot buff, hot towels, leg scrub, lotion, and hot stone massage, with wax dip. So relaxing! She took her time to get polish just right and massaged my legs for a good while to use all the lotion in the scent upgrade. Upgrade well worth it! read more

Very busy, which tells me customers like it and come back over and over. I've been here a couple of times, now, and they're all very friendly. They've got a couple of kid's pedi-chairs, too, which is so fun! I also appreciate that the location is central to the neighborhood and parking is available/plentiful. Lina has been my nail tech both times, too, and is really nice and talkative. UPDATE: I've been using this place exclusively for about 8 months now. I usually request Lily for acrylics (in the past) & regular manicures - she is GREAT! She also does a great job with pedicures , both standard & the nicer organic styles. read more

Wow! I can understand why this place has many positive reviews because the owner is so nice. But his worker not so much. This has happened to me TWICE so the second time is enough for me to leave an honest review. While getting my nails done, I kindly asked my tech (same rude tech from last time) if she can take off ONLY the pinky nail which she cut too short, she gave me THE WORST attitude! I am paying you so its not like I am asking for free work. I suspected her talking trash about me so I recorded her and turns out- SHE WAS!!!! How dare you? I give you business every 2 weeks and I have all of my friends come here as well. Later she charges me $40 for the same exact thing I did last time (costs me $25) Does this lady think I'm stupid? My friends and I will never be back here again until that lady is no longer an employee! Ridiculous read more

This place has great service. Each time I've gone they have some exactly what I've asked for. Tina is awesome!

Best nail shop in town! Love how kind the staff is I've been going here for 7 years, never disappointed with my acrylic nails

Spent $75 on two sub-par pedicures with a 20% tip. The polish lasted only two weeks. One of the cuticles on my toes was pushed back so far that it started to bleed. Highly do NOT recommend. read more

Went in there yesterday (Monday) for a shellac manicure and was really disappointed. I have been here before to get my eyebrows waxed and they do a good job with that. The place was dead when I got there so it was nice not having to wait. But it was SO quiet. No music, no TV. No one was talking. The lady doing my nails only spoke TWICE to me the entire hour I was there. She first told me to place my hands in the bowl of cold water for 15 minutes. Then she spoke again at the register when she asked if I wanted a receipt. I was practically falling asleep in the chair because I was so bored. I picked out a dark purple polish but because she was applying the thinnest layers of polish my nails are light/red looking purple. If she applied two more coats I believe it would of been the shade it was supposed to be. Since the layers were thin you can easily tell how uneven my nails were painted. Wasted $25 for my manicure. I am so disappointed. I don't think ill return again. Not even for my eyebrows. read more

My nails look amazing! Exactly the design I was looking for. There was a miscommunication on the length though, because they are way too long. I will enjoy them for a day before I go work and have to file them down. My fault for not clarifying, but still absolutely GORGEOUS! Will for sure be back! read more
