I've always gotten a warm greeting when I walk in the front door and they communicate every step. Amy has been my nail tech ever since that first visit! I have been other places that take one short glance at your inspiration pic and then do whatever they think it looked like without referencing it again but Amy puts your phone on a little stand and copies every single detail. She works quickly but efficiently and isn't afraid to tell you if a color won't compliment your skin tone or if a design is unrealistic/AI generated which is exactly what I need. This was a fill for $61 before tip and my full set was $70. My nail tech was supposed to do a base color so my nails didn't show... which I thought she was doing and by the time she was done I realize she did clear... the salon was closed by the time we were done so I couldn't request a fix. RUSHED and RUDE. SO disappointed! Last year I did my daughters 7th birthday here and got a handful of her friend pedicures, it was ok but seemed rush, I spent over $175 but just let it go since the girls enjoyed it. So this year my daughter went with her grandma for her 8th birthday, she called ahead and scheduled an appointment. When they arrived the employee took her over to the adult chair and when my mom said she would like to be in the children's chair that employee rolled her eyes at my mom and huffed. At one point my mom even had to ask her to slow down because she was rushing through my daughters nails so incredibly fast. This was supposed to be a birthday treat and a special day to make her feel important, to saw I'm disappointed is an understatement. They move customers through there like their cattle just to get to the next person. When my daughter got home I told her how pretty her nails looked and put a smile on my face and she said she liked them too but she told me that the employee grabbed her arm tightly when bringing her from the adult chair to the children chair. Tried to upsell the pedi service and as soon as I said I only wanted the basic service she got attitude. She totally rushed through my service--15 minutes. Lee Nails and Organic Spa maintains a relaxing and comfortable environment to get nails done. The doors were open upon my entrance to bring the fresh air in. The room was well lit and beautifully decorated. The front desk gal was kind enough to greet each customer as they entered, but she did not smile once during my wait for a manicure. Not even at the older gentleman who wanted a manicure or the toddler coming in with her mom to get a manicure and pedicure. She quoted me 10-15 minutes to wait, but ended up closer to 25 minutes. My preference is for polish to be close to my cuticles. As a result, I requested "Please paint as close to the cuticles as possible." Yet, the polish looks as if I had my nails done a week ago and I have a small bubble at the top of my ring finger (See attached photo). Disappointed. My manicurists did not cut or twist my fingers to hard. The shimmering lotion is a nice touch. However, my cuticles are still dry from the alcohol cleanings. She was kind and did an overall decent job. Four days after, my nail polish started to turn a grey color on all of my nails and a couple nails have polish peeling away. read more

I've been going to Lee Nails off and on for years now, but only about a year consistently for my acrylic nail fills. I'm typically happy with the work that the nail technicians do, but most often, the technicians aren't the friendliest. For example, during one of my visits, the technician was clearly not invested in doing my nails. Instead, she kept looking toward the door to see which customers were next, and she left me multiple times to help others. Overall, it very much feels like a business (just get people in, get them out, rush things along) and not a place where the technicians genuinely care about the work they're doing. It's not surprising to read these other Yelp reviews and see that others have experienced unfriendliness and even to learn that the technicians may be talking poorly about their customers. I mean, it's a clean environment, and I'm usually satisfied with my nails when I leave, but in my opinion, it's not a welcoming place. I thought this was standard nail salon behavior until I visited 10 Nails off Highway 14 and was paired up with a really sweet technician. I'll be going to 10 Nails from now on! read more
