I've been coming here for almost a year now, so I think I'm due for a review. I moved here a little over a year ago & had been looking for a place to get a brazilian wax. It's not my first rodeo getting these, so I knew what to expect. After my first one somewhere else wasn't all that great, I went on a new hunt & found this one that just so happens to be about 5 mins away from where I live. It's a cute place, very clean & organized. I've had waxes by both Kim & Simone & go once a month. They're both do a great job & very nice & I never felt uncomfortable. I went to Kim for quite a while and I really liked her services. However she canceled on me several times and with only a few minutes notice each time. She said she would call to reschedule and never did. I still have money from a package I bought and I am just tired of being canceled on that I don't care! Horrible experience & waste of money! Totally regret it. I would give Zero Stars if I could. Customer service needs significant improvement and the salon room needs to be properly cleaned please. I've been to various spas and salons and this was by far the dirtiest and least professional. Definitely not someone I would recommend to my friends, the public, or even someone I didn't like. UPDATE: the owner harassed me via text and told me that my honest review on yelp of her salon is a form of bullying. It's called freedom of speech. Clean up your salon and work on customer service . I also had to block her to stop texting me. This is really weird and not professional. ----Now I'm being contacted on Yelp after blocking her on text---- next update will most likely be me having to file a harassment report ANNOUNCEMENT - I have taken legal action and filed a Police report for harassment. I'm a married young mother of 3 young children who is very easy going ands gets along well with almost everyone. I've gone to many business , met many people, but have never had such a horrific experience with an individual. Bullying and harassing me via text and on various apps is unacceptable- especially at this lady's age. She should be focusing on self improvement, business, or grandkids if she has any . I refused to be attacked or bullied and will always stand up for myself and will teach the same to my children. - Jan 2019 - So basically the owner waited a month to explain that her bad energy and horrible costumer service was due to "not clicking" with me and "having a bad feeling". Not to mention sprinkling in a few non truths... :/ ....(but she knows that) No wonder I felt uneasy when I came into the salon! Doesn't sound like professional behavior for a business owner to randomly target a new client and decide they don't like them. Then to use that as an excuse to create an uncomfortable atmosphere and treat the client in a rude and non accommodating manner is just strange. Additionally, the peach analogy doesn't apply here- I didn't write this review due to not liking the owner personally. I wrote this honest review because of my very unsatisfactory experience in this salon as well as her lackluster customer service skills and unacceptable harassment. I came into this salon with an open mind, peaceful energy, and the trust that I put into this owner. I never expected I would have to call the Police to have them stop harassing me... It's not my goal to try to hurt a business- only speak my truth and offer advice: I sincerely wish things had went better ... & I hope no one else experiences what I did and that the owner is able to grow to become more professional, compassionate, and understanding towards her future new clients as well as let go of any underlying prejudices she may have had towards me that caused her to act in such a manner. Kim does a really great job! We had a bit of a miscommunication due to an error on the part of Groupon, but she cleared it up right away. After that, scheduling was super easy. Kim is very thorough with her microdermabrasion work, which I really appreciated! She offered some beauty advice/instruction, but I was still able to relax as she wasn't chatting the entire time either. She seems very knowledgeable, and the results were great! Glad it worked for someone else! Sadly not for me... I had an allergic reaction after the facial, then I thought the redness after extraction is normal, so I really didn't give a second thought until almost a week later when I discovered it's not getting better. To be frank, I'm a bit disappointed in Kim's response. I could explain to Kim a bit better myself (had a friend texting her instead cuz she is fan of her service) that the reaction appeared a lot sooner, that my skin is very stable and had very few active acne at the time of my service. However I lost interest in even communicating. I don't need a refund, no apology needed regardless of the fault. The least I ask for from my esthetician is to show some sympathy. As someone who invest a lot of money and time in my skin care, what I wish I heard at a time of suffering was simply "sorry to hear that you are suffering, however...blabla... this is what would help to get better..." not that I should get my home care in order :) At the end of the day though, skin is all about trial and error. Even if this experience didn't work for me, still glad that I tried! read more

0 stars if I could. The lady had no personality and the room looked very unkept. I regret not backing out once noticing these red flags. Sometime after the service I started feeling dizzy and nauseous. I thought it may have been from the chemicals she used . Afterwards she informed me that she recently had a virus and I most likely caught it from her. I was also scammed and extra $41. So basically I went in to a dirty salon with a random lady to provide a service with zero results, have a negative health reaction, and charged an extra $41 that I now have to dispute with my credit card company. I don't normally write nagative reviews but I felt like I should warn the public. Spend your money elsewhere. BEWARE! read more
