Usually they have very nice service but today I ant say this. The person that did my nails was bossy. 1. I didn't like the color of my nails and instead of been nice she said "you have to be careful on the color you pick@ 2. I won't be returning. At my last visit, I'd gotten a manicure & Solar put onto one nail that is perpetually broken. After one week, more than half of the repaired nail broke off & the other side of the nail began raising up from the nail bed. I went back another week later to have the damage repaired & while I'm grateful I wasn't charged for this service, the work done was appalling. The girl soaked off the Shellac polish, barely filed down the old Solar that remained, then painted the nail. She didn't actually repair the damage. My nail looked lumpy & disfigured. I ended up going to a different salon a few days later for a full new manicure because I couldn't stand the way it looked any longer. read more

Not happy at all with the quality of the nail polishes here. I have a feeling that they probably thin their polishes down so an expensive manicure and pedicure, over $100 now literally lasted me days recently. I went to a different salon and had them remove the peach coloured polish, which had dark streaks running through it! I won't use this salon again. read more

If I could give 1/2 star I would. I am new to Battle Ground and have not been impressed with the nail salons here. This was another disappointment. My appointment was for a pedicure and dip manicure. The woman doing my pedicure was nice but did not know what she was doing and had to have a co worker take over. The co-worker did my dip. Within 3 days the product was chipping I went in to have him fix it, which to his credit he did without issue. All the product fell off in 7 days. I have been getting dip for 5+ years, I have NEVER had this happen. read more

I stopped by for the #2 pedicure with the addition of using gel polish. I only waited about 5 mins which isn't bad at all. She took her time and didn't rush, the massage was very relaxing. There are a lot of pedicure chairs, and about 6 stations for manicures. Good place to go accommodate a girls day. Lots of colors available to choose from. Note: They do not use bag liners for the pedicure tubs, but I did watch them scrubbed the tub after each person and after myself. I do love the fact that the water stayed hot the entire time of my pedicure most places the water tends to turn cold fairly quickly, huge plus. read more

I am NEVER coming to this place again, disappointed every time I come here, the last straw was when i came here a few weeks ago to PROFESSIONALLY get my acrylic nails taken off so i DONT break anything myself and my nail tech broke my nail in half, he tried to cover it up by putting this clear polish so it will stay together and it became infected and it has now fallen off, the tech used a plastic nail to pry the acrylic and my real nail apart from each other to try and "save my nail", im no nail tech but im sure using the electric nail file would have been a LOT less painful and more effective i am getting married in the next few months and i am going to be LIVID if it does not grow back in time NEVER AGAIN read more

$38 for a fill!!! Seriously??....and my daughter is a student and they don't offer student discount either! She was very unhappy. The paint job was horrible. I went in and asked why they charged her so much when their own sign said a fill was 25. Their answer... "Her paint was shellac" Come on people... It was just a color... Black matte... I followed the owners from their former salon a few blocks from my neighborhood to this location 20+ minutes away because they kindly remember me and my family, making our experiences more engaging. Their prices are reasonable for the quality (I get gel manicures and regular pedicures). Though they offer deluxe services & products, there is never pressure to choose anything more expensive. The few times a polish hasn't turned out as I'd expected (due to product quality), I am immediately, graciously offered a fix or change. I brought a friend here with me to treat her to a pedicure. This was my first time coming here as my usual spot was booked. It was super easy to call and make an appointment and they got us right in when we arrived. It was an AMAZING experience! The staff was friendly and attentive. The deluxe spa pedicure was my best pedicure ever. I enjoyed picking out my own scent and the paraffin wax is now my new favorite. It simply felt indulgent. The atmosphere was great. Very quiet and relaxing. My first time here so I was super nervous..My nail gal closed her shop. Henry did a very good job listening to all my needs. I am very particular on how I like them. If I wanted something fixed he did it with no problem and questioning. It was silent inside.. so quiet ( besides the relaxing music) I almost felt bad telling him what I wanted fixed. The color I thought would be more grey.. it's kind of hard to pick on their display. I made an appointment last minute and appreciate they were able to accommodate me. I suffer from ingrown toenails and have learned (the hard way) not every nail tech knows how to cut the ingrown out properly. Since moving to BG I've had a few really good pedi's at a different nail salon. During my last pedi a week ago the tech said he knew how to cut the ingrown out but all he did was stab my toe and make me bleed. He did a mediocre job at the rest of the pedi so today I decided to try Charming Nails to see if they could fix what the other salon couldn't. Ahhhhh such a relief!! Super nice and clean inside, very inviting I was greeted and seated right away. Emma did an amazing job cutting out the ingrown, I barely felt it. Loved the experience here! First time getting acrylics in a long time, the manicurists was very detailed and efficient. She made sure every nails matched perfectly. They have an amazing holographic shellac! Comes in many colors. Perfect coffin shape. Also everything is new equipment, fans built into table surface to keep the smells away. I get an acrylic fill with gel on top. I love the wide array of polish color selection and usually there is very little wait time. Everyone is super friendly and welcoming. My nail technician does an amazing job where my nails are never too thick and the shape is always perfect to how I like them. I also get my eyebrows waxed here and have never had any issues. read more

Came here today to get a pedicure, I had been going somewhere else, but this is walking distance from my house and I had heard really good things about it. I made an appointment, showed up early and was taken right away. I received the deluxe spa pedicure with gel polish and it was AMAZING. I am 8months pregnant and a hair dresser and I don't treat myself enough to pedicures, so when I do, I really expect the most and the gentleman, (totally forgot to ask for his name), who was taking care of me did an exceptional job. From start to finish awful. I scheduled an appointment. They sat me in a chair after 20 minutes of waiting. Left me in a cold soak to wait. Finally after another 10 someone came to start my pedicure. In the process of soaking my gel polish off, she did my leg massage!! No joke. Why? She then scraped my polish off and began pretending to cut my cuticles (which were not soft because they hadn't seen water in 30 minutes) also not applying softener. She got nothing off. She did not buff the nail. She exfoliated but left the exfoliant on my leg to dry while working on the other foot. Then she did the callous scraper.. on my still very dry foot that has not been in the water for over 30 minutes. Like nails on a chalkboard. No foot massage. I would never go back there. I really hate to leave bad reviews, but I went here yesterday for a full acrylic set, and the man who did my nails was so aggressive with the nail file that he actually cut 3 of my fingers. And did not do anything for them but ignored it and kept going. He then did not sanitize the work station and immediately took the next guest and used the file he cut me with on her. (Those are supposed to be disposed of after each use regardless) my fingers are actually still sore today. This place seems to really lack sanitation when it comes to their tools. read more

I tried Charming Nails for the first time yesterday and was very pleased! I had a shellac manicure with Lina. She was very friendly and called me by my name. She listened to what I wanted and took her time on my nails. There are certain things I look for in a nail salon. Of course I want someone who does a great job and I want my manicure to last for a full two weeks without chipping and peeling. Some other things I look for are friendliness and professionalism. I also appreciate a clean, relaxing and welcoming environment. Charming Nails definitely has that! It is a brand new salon so all of the equipment is new and the decor is very fresh and contemporary. The salon is very clean - including the restroom. Also, the music is relaxing and the environment is quiet rather than chaotic. Another thing I look for is a wide variety of color choices - especially in gel polishes. I was pleasantly surprised by the color selection offered at Charming. Wonderful! I was new to the area and decided to try this place for my mani-pedi. There are other nail salons in Battle Ground, but as i only live 1/4 mile away, i thought I'd try Charming Nails first. It's always a gamble finding new nail salons (and hair for that matter), especially when you're new to an area. That said, I have had great experiences here thus far. The nail techs are talented and friendly. Im.always greeted with a warm hello, and they also seem to be up in the latest nail trends (not that I am..lol) They are efficient but don't seem to be rushed, which is my pet-peeve with nail places.
