I love getting facials and I was really surprised to find another facial place in my neighborhood. I read the reviews on Yelp, looked at Heidi's website, and liked the fact that she also does Reiki, so I texted her earlier in the week to see if she had availability today. Luckily she did, so I booked the Retinol Plus Facial, half arm wax, and a Reiki add-on. She has a pretty extensive facial list - I think there are around 13 different facials listed on her website, so you have a nice choice to to suit your needs. The facial was amazing - my skin looks luminous and I'm actually glowing. I loved everything about the facial, and I normally don't say this, but the massage was my favorite part (I would usually say getting my skin clean of any impurities). Heidi's massage is firm and through - I loved it. I also loved the Reiki, and I told Heidi I was either going to add more time my next visit, or do a full Reiki session. I don't know what your thoughts are on Reiki, but I have always felt better and just lighter after I have Reiki performed on me. If you are coming in for a facial or another service, I would highly recommend doing an add-on of Reiki. It's only $25 to add on, and completely worth it. The space is also really comforting, in soothing shades of grey and white. And the memory foam treatment bed is beyond comfortable, you literally just sink into it and melt. You can tell Heidi has a great sense of style and it shows in every nook and cranny. Even the bathroom is adorable. I've been to some places that have "cleaner lines", i.e. a little more modern, but I really like Heidi's space much more. It's how I would decorate, if I had a spot like that. Heidi also has a nice array of products available (her own line, Yonka and Jan Marini) and she gave me three good size sample products to take home and try. I love when people do that, because you never know how your skin is going to react, so I appreciate samples to try first. She also didn't try to push any products on me, which I appreciate. And lastly, she also has some beautiful jewelry on sale that she has made - a great selection of earrings that I'm going to take a closer look the next time I go back. Heidi is warm and funny, and makes you feel comfortable immediately. She is one of the best estheticians I have encountered, and I can tell you I have had countless facials in many cities over the past 20 years. Overall, it was an amazing experience and I can't wait to go back.

When I questioned her about this, she said she needed time to get ready. Shouldn't she get ready before I get there? She also talked about herself non-stop throughout treatment. Often times she was late and I would have to wait outside for her until she drove up. Bottom line- While treatments were enjoyable, who doesn't like getting creams rubbed in, they were not effective. My acne issues persisted despite spending many hundreds of dollars in products and services. I kept trying for several months but with no improvement in my skin, finally had a lightbulb go on about her products. My research led me to learn that peptides can cause or irritate acne! Save your money and time and avoid this salon.

Because I didn't have a jowl or turkey neck she decided to do the hybrid facial. I spent $149 for 10 minutes of the neveskin and a 10 minute cold facial. So in total it was about 25 mins. I felt like I didnt get my moneys worth. I understand it's just a promo but if I'm not getting one full session how will I determine if it works? The studio is clean and well organized. I booked with Hannah online and mentioned I have thick long hair and wanted a chop for summer. I've never been to this salon before, but know from past experience it's important to note thick hair while booking. Their online booking system requires the stylist to "okay" the appointment, so someone must have seen the note about thick hair. At other salons, most stylists will see the note and book out an extra 45 mins..or call to reschedule with an additional block of time. This never happened and lead to maybe the worst salon experience I've ever had? Hannah started cutting my hair, and was a quarter way through before she mentioned I'd have to leave with wet hair due to time constraints. I wish she would have been honest and up front and I would have rescheduled or found a new salon for a cut that would include a blow dry + style. She shampooed my hair for less than 4 minutes and everything just felt so rushed! I was expecting to see another client waiting for her but that was not the case. I was in and out of the salon in less than an hour. She gave me her card so I could contact her if the layers dried funny or looked bad...so off I left with wet hair and a potential hack job of a haircut. I don't recommend this place, I got in my car and cried. I expect to leave a salon feeling beautiful and that just didn't happen!
