I'm a bit nerdy and she fully indulged my interest in all the products they used; which blew me away with the quality! Absolutely peak quality wax and oils, on a level I have never seen in another waxing location, for even the MOST sensitive skin! Which is super important for me because I have EDS (Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome) and my skin is extremely sensitive and abnormally easily torn on a molecular level so when I say that I walked away with HAPPY, not irritated, skin after a full Brazilian wax, please know how remarkable this is! I have walked out of waxing appointments at other businesses bleeding on many occasions. Not only was Amanda exceptional in her knowledge and manner, she was thorough! I have lighter hair and generally have to point out missed patches to get a clean finish but when I checked everything -- NO NOTES! Then to top it all off she had an aftercare kit for me when I was checking out! And if all of that doesn't tell you how wonderful and wildly above standard quality this was, I was in and out in 22 minutes flat.

My boyfriend and I share a car and we had to go pick up his kids from school before my appointment and then I told them to just wait in the car because my appointment would only be 15 minutes. Easy peasy. Kids wouldn't get antsy or fight and we'd be home by 4:30 (my appointment was at 4). The morning of my appointment I got a call that my waxer was out for the day so I would be with someone else. Which is totally fine with me! Until it wasn't. I got to my appointment right on time, then was told I had to wait a few minutes. Which is fine because I usually have to wait about 3-5 minutes. 10 minutes goes by and my waxer finally came out to take me to the back. I've never seen her before at this location so I assumed she was newer, but I know they train well so I wasn't worried. Finally she starts my wax and it's all going well and she's chatting with me and making me feel comfortable, she is pulling my skin taught so it doesn't hurt and it's going really well! Then she kept going over the same spot, over and over again. Which I know is because she wanted to get all the hairs out, but I felt it getting later and later and I knew my boyfriend and his kids were waiting in the car and I just knew that they were getting antsy. Anyways, she did a great job, but I checked my phone at the end and it was 4:50!!! 4:50?! 40 minutes to do a Brazilian. I'm fine with having a new person, but I would've love to know she was going to take that long for my appointment! That was ridiculous!! And no one even seemed to apologize about it. When I finally was at checkout, I didn't even want to schedule again because 1. I didn't know if I'd want to come back to this location, even though it's the closest to my house and 2. I was now in a rush because my appointment was 35 minutes over what I thought it would be. We had someplace to be and now we were really late for it. I'm really disappointed in my service this past experience. Warn your customers if it's a newer waxer and if they take longer so they can plan better. You are in customer service after all! I won't be back at this location. Be better Mill Plain EWC.

Why should I have to eat the second charge if yall didn't charge me correctly?? Not trying to get free services. I get stuff happens. But it just feels like once they consider your business a regular point of service the quality drops majorly across the board. Bottom line it's not worth the risk of contracting cooties from constantly getting cut, nor my money being wasted for sub par services. Thankfully new salons have opened in town. Hopefully their team pulls it together.

He asked me what service I wanted and I said Classic pedicure with gel polish (same as I always get) which is $50 per their price list. They do also offer a Deluxe pedicure with gel for $85. He proceeded to perform my pedicure and I did notice he did some things different that I experienced in the past. I assumed they made a few changes to how they do things. However, when I went to pay he told me $69 instead of the normal $50. I realized he was charging me for services I didn't ask for (oil mask and hot stone massage + who knows what else) that he choose to perform on his own. At this point I didn't argue because I don't like to create a scene and it is pointless to argue with someone this appalling and I will never go back. While I was receiving my service I heard another client arguing with him at checkout but thought nothing of it but now suspect maybe the same was done to her. By doing this you get more $ from customers for that day but if you are now wondering why they don't return this is it. Sad because the technicians themselves are nice and do good work. Not their fault at all. I rated 2 stars because the quality of the work is 5 stars however the dishonesty is negative stars and a total deal breaker.

Tai has been the owner for the past several years. All of the nail technicians are excellent, including Tai, Tina, Nikki, Ann, Lin, Ryan, and Vy. The quality of the manicures and pedicures is high. I go once a month to have a deluxe manicure and a deluxe pedicure. Tina is my nail technician. I pay more for gel, because it lasts all month long. What really impressed me most was their safety protocols during COVID. Even before then, and now, it is a clean place with sterilized nail tools. There is no nail salon odor, as is typical in other salons. For the past 15+ years, I've had no issues with my nails. In fact, I get compliments frequently. I choose a pink-nude color for my nails, because it looks more natural and professional. I keep my nails short, because I use the computer a lot with my job. I also have a 2 year old granddaughter, so I don't want to accidentally scratch her with longer nails. I use a darker taupe color for my toe nails. Matches everything. My daughters love receiving gift certificates from Natural Nails for birthday gifts. If you love having soft and beautiful hands and feet, visit Natural Nails and they will pamper you. Their prices are reasonable for what you get. I love their massage chairs, when I get pedicures. Tina always asks me what I would like to drink. I prefer water. I've seen others having mimosas. My daughters used to go to other nail salons, until they came with me to Natural Nails. Now all of us go to Natural Nails. My eldest daughter has had her nails done by Ryan and Ann. She only goes once every few months because she's married, works, and has three young children. My youngest daughter goes every other month. She commutes for work in Oregon, and works the night shift, so her schedule keeps her really busy. Her nail technician is Nikki. I'm married and a grandma of 3. I'm an empty nester. I work too.
