I had my first ever wax here yesterday with Anna and what a delight it was - which seems odd of a thing to say. But it's true! Truly! I had psyched myself up for a painful time. While it wasn't NOT painful, it wasn't remotely as bad as I expected. Anna was super nice, informative and patient with me as I told her I was nervous. The place gave accepting and chill vibes. We talked the entire time and it was such a breeze compared to what I thought it'd be. She went over after care and gave a little goody bag afterwards. I will absolutely be back. read more

I wish I could give 6 stars, truly this place has changed my image of what a quality wax boutique experience can be like! Every detail was done so flawlessly. I was greeted by my waxer Amanda within seconds of walking in the door. She took me to my room in a wonderfully decorated space, the bed was SO comfy! Amanda brought professionalism to every moment without losing her sense of humor and made the entire experience genuinely fun! She was impeccable; asked every question that a waxer should before ever touching my skin, and knowledgeable about how to handle each of my personal variables. I'm a bit nerdy and she fully indulged my interest in all the products they used; which blew me away with the quality! Absolutely peak quality wax and oils, on a level I have never seen in another waxing location, for even the MOST sensitive skin! Which is super important for me because I have EDS (Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome) and my skin is extremely sensitive and abnormally easily torn on a molecular level so when I say that I walked away with HAPPY, not irritated, skin after a full Brazilian wax, please know how remarkable this is! I have walked out of waxing appointments at other businesses bleeding on many occasions. Not only was Amanda exceptional in her knowledge and manner, she was thorough! I have lighter hair and generally have to point out missed patches to get a clean finish but when I checked everything -- NO NOTES! Then to top it all off she had an aftercare kit for me when I was checking out! And if all of that doesn't tell you how wonderful and wildly above standard quality this was, I was in and out in 22 minutes flat. read more

I have been here before and had a great experience but last night I had Kari for a Brazilian wax and it was the most painful wax I've ever had in my life and I'm no stranger to getting everything waxed off down there. Today I am left with burns in multiple spots (pictured was just the most appropriate) or maybe my skin is just ripped off but I'm still in pain. I can't pee or wear underwear comfortably because my skin is so raw and injured. On top of that so much hair on my inner and outer "lips" was left behind because she did not move anything around or ask me to adjust my position to get where she needed. There was enough hair left, I'm talking LONG pieces that it would have been worth my time to go back in and have them fix it but I'd rather bend over and scrunch myself into a ball where I can't breathe at 24 weeks pregnant and pluck it myself than go back and let her try again with the hot wax when I'm still in so much pain from raw skin. Giving three stars because the environment is clean and welcoming. Even my two year old sat and waited with my boyfriend comfortably in the lobby while I was getting waxed. I've had a great experience here before with a different waxer (I wish I could remember her name) and also because Kari was very nice but I definitely won't be trusting her with the most sensitive part of my body again. read more

I had the pleasure of getting a Brazilian wax from Allegra today. I actually came here based on a review on another aesthetician I was seeing!, & I'm so glad I switched. She is EFFICIENT, quick, amazing personality & manners. Not only did it take half the time I'm accustomed to, but it was half as painful due to her excellent wax technique. I'm definitely returning as a regular cusfomer, thanks for making an otherwise unpleasant experience a really positive one! 10 stars!! read more

I've been a repeating customer of European Wax Center for years, up until my visit at Nether Lands Wax. I enjoyed my waxers at EWC but it seems that whenever I get comfortably with a waxer they leave. I finally got fed up and set out looking for a new place! I am so happy I happened upon Nether Lands, and absolutely loved my experience with Anna today! I love what their business stands for, and Anna's personality made my experience even better! I seriously cannot wait for my next wax, and will be continually referring my friends and family to this business! read more

Listen, nobody actually enjoys getting their hoo-haw waxed. But, if it's something you're looking/needing to do, book an appointment at Nether Lands Wax, and you won't be disappointed. All staff is friendly and respectful, and they do a great job of carrying on conversation to distract you as your pubes are being just RIPPED from your body. Even their atmosphere alone, with the welcoming decor and motto of inclusion, is a great reason to book now. read more

First time I've gotten waxed in years and Kari made it quick and easy! She was super sweet. Already booked for next month!

I will make this place my go to for any wax I need! I made an appointment with Anna for a Brazilian wax and she was extremely professional, kind, and just an overall joy to talk to. The establishment is clean and cute as well. I would recommend this place to anyone! read more

I had my first wax today after 4 months of grow out, and was really impressed. I loved how clean the place was, and how calm and peaceful the lobby was. Some of my favorite things: They have a giant bathroom/changing area with baby wipes they provide, body spray, tampons etc! They have baby wipes in the room with coconut oil and after wax cream that was nice and different than what I'm used too. Instead of regular paper on the waxing bed they have nice disposable sheets. Way more sanitary and comfortable. The whole experience was really good and I'm looking forward to my next wax. read more

Got recommended to Anna by my sister and I'm so glad I did! I usually try to wax at home but let's admit that could get messy. I went in for a Brazilian and left more than satisfied. Anna not only did a great job but she made me feel extremely comfortable the entire time. Looking forward to going back in a couple of weeks! Will definitely recommend this place to others. read more

Excellence in this most personal service is hard to find, so stop looking an go to Nether Lands. Beautiful offices and spaces, efficient, professional and most of all, personable. Fabulous waxing. Hard to find, you have to look at the tiny office strip behind the consignment store, not to the side of it. Waze will send you to the storage units, that have NOTHING to do with this fine establishment. read more

Megan made me feel comfortable in what I thought would've been awkward. Really happy with my wax! I will keep coming back! Thank you Megan! read more

Well here I was, in a new city, needing a wax, so after searching yelp, I found this gem! I've had many wax experiences, and this was right up there with the best! They used a wax alternative I wasn't familiar with, and it's a strip wax type, which scared me at first, but it was completely fine! Not the scary stringy stuff at all! My favorite part(after the non pain part) is that the room, wax pot, trash area, etc, was super clean, even though she (Kari) just finished with another client! She of course changed the sheet in the bed, and no double-dipping here! I also really appreciate the extra care she took to press the skin immediately after strip being pulled. It helps so much!!!!! Awesome, non-judgy place! read more

Nether Lands Wax - Super positive vibes!!!!! - Waxing Near Me - Vancouver, Washington

This is my 4th time doing a Manzilian and it is by far the best experience I have had waxing my family jewels. Not only is was place much cheaper than the other place I have tried, it was also more friendly and professional. It actually hurt less when Anna did it. read more

This place is awesome! Super easy to book online. It's clean, comfortable and the waxing goes quickly. Amanda and her team are incredible! Nether Lands Wax is accepting and inclusive of every customer that walks in that door. Can't tell you how happy I am with this place! The staff is fantastic, customer service top notch! As a male, it is sometimes hard to find a place where you feel like you fit in and I have moved many times in the last 15 years. I have always hated trying to find the next place that will take care of me and not make me feel like "filler" until their real or routine clients show up. I hope to never move again. It will be impossible to meet my new standards. Very professional, clean!, and so positive! Wish I would have moved here sooner! read more

I would highly recommend this place to anyone! I get Brazilians regularly, and although they are never something I look forward to I always leave happy. Amanda makes it quick and as painless as possible. In the past I have sometimes felt more vulnerable or judged about my body type while getting waxed but definitely not here-they are a judgment free zone! read more

I have started seeing Megan for some help with grooming as I am pregnant. I have never felt more comfortable receiving a brazillian. She is not only great at what she does, she is also very kind and personable. I plan on continuing to see her after pregnancy. I couldn't ask for a better person to work with on what is probably the most vulnerable service you can receive! Thank you Megan! read more

Most painless waxing experience you can think of! Kari did an amazing job! I'll be back for sure!

I love the space, very kind and accepting.. a no shame environment, I was always treated with kindness. Its not my first rodeo and I've gone to many places to get waxed, unfortunately I was left with the worst ingrowns of my life.. went again, exfoliated, still horrible ingrowns. Not sure if it was the technique or bad luck on my part. I'm back to shaving :/ read more

Beautiful new space! I've waxed my whole life, but never kept up with it because it was always such a painful and unpleasant experience. Then, I met Kari and she completely changed that for me. Kari has long been my favorite because we have so much in common and she does a phenomenal, fast job. But, over the years I have been waxed by all of these ladies on different occasions. They are, hands down, the best in the business. If you want the best wax you can get and also to have fun and feel completely comfortable in every way, this is the place! I would never again trust my "delicates" to anyone else. read more
