I reached out to other studios and they told me that the wrong rod was used on my eye and I would need to get this relaxed. When I brought that up to Glenda, she told me this is normal (once again) and that this is just how my eyelashes react to this process, but that she could try to make it even. My eyelashes became even more curled and uncomfortable. On top of this, she left the room a number of times while I had the perming solution on my eyes. This made me uncomfortable because I had never had these products on my face and did not know how I would react. I thought this was a normal process, but I have gotten my lashes lifted twice since this service, and each time it has been significantly more comfortable and the results have been better, for over half the price. Additionally, my artist has never left the room, and ensures I am comfortable the entire time.

My imperfect skin makes me feel vulnerable, but Kim made me feel not only accepted, and not at all judged but truly pampered and cared for. It felt like I was just being cared for by a 2nd mom. The last time I had lash extensions put in was quite painful and I had told her that I was nervous about it. She said it shouldn't hurt at all! And indeed it didn't hurt! I felt ZERO pain. I have naturally dark and manicured brows, but they definitely have some thinning as I age. I also have scar tissue that makes a few hairs misbehave. Lamination makes them behave. I also did have cavitation twice, but decided it's not for me. Oddly, it is relaxing. It just didn't do anything and saw no point in continuing to do it. Go get you some pretty brows and lashes!
