Scheduled and appointment with a specific tech. The tech i was scheduled with asked me what I wanted and then passed me over to someone else and then for her to call her next appointment and tell them they could come early. Super uneven paint looks like I did it myself. Was super hopeful this would be the place for me to go regularly but I was wrong. Not sure if I just got them on a bad day but I have cuts on my toes and hands and it burned so bad...I felt bad so I didn't say anything. Then I gave them a reference for my nails and I said gel only. I like to grow my natural nail mid-length and she cut them nubby short and I told her acrylic only gel. I should've stopped her when I saw the drill. I didn't get the manicure I wanted...but she came in right at the end with a chrome design. Not exactly the best experience I've had in a nail salon. I'm used to getting cut but my toes are pretty spicy after this one. And my nails are super short. Oh well. read more

I went in today with my sister and friend as a walk-in. The place was not busy at all and they went right to work. I got a pedicure with David for $28. He was very accommodating. I let them know the temperature of water was too cold and he did not mind changing it at all. They do give you a complimentary drink with their service. I was surprised they had other selections besides soda and water. I posted the picture of the selection and I got the green tea with lemon, yum! David took his time on my nails. He did the usual routine of removing the cuticles, cutting my nails, and then filing them. He asked if I was ticklish and so he made sure not to scrub my feet too hard. He then went over my toes to double check his work. He did a great job painting them and I left satisfied. BUT... After I left, I was walking and noticed my nail polish chipped on my big toe. I realized that the brand of the nail polish is not something I've heard before. I'm not sure if the nail polish is good brand or if the nail polish is old. Overall, David is great! I would recommend him but I would consider the nail polish possibly being old before coming here. The bathroom did not have toilet seat covers (so good thing I squat lol) and they didn't have hand soap. FYI: The average price for a pedicure in Vancouver is about $25-$30 compared to California which is about $18-$22. If you get a mani and pedi, it's $40. Extra $10 each if you like gel. read more

I was in the area for business and had some free time on a Sunday, and was hoping to get an sns manicure and regular pedicure. Luckily for me, I found Candys! It was very easy to make an appointment last minute.. and the nails came out great. I was surprised how clean it was and how friendly the staff were too. Also, probably one of the fastest sns manicures I have had. Their technique was spot on, and some places I have been to literally take forever if they don't know what they are doing. My only comment was that there was a lot of waiting time in the beginning despite making an appointment. Wasnt really happy to spend 3 hours in the Salon. read more

Went today for a polish change for my sns dipped nails! I appreciated that I did not have to wait and they were not in a rush since I came at a slow time, 1pm on a Tuesday. I also loved that they offered me tea! I have never gotten this ombré look and I have never been to this location so I was very nervous! Tom was kind and took his time making sure he did a good job. My rind finger has one hot pink Glitter in it that's not supposed to be there but not really noticeable unless you look for it. I would give one more star if they would clean their files used on you in front of you. The last place I went to pulled them out of the disinfectant right in front of you which I appreciate but she was rude and did a horrible job on the polish so I didn't go back lol. This salon has multiple pedicure packages to choose from, also equipped with massage chairs. They also provide a variety of services including lashes, and waxing. The business has wall to wall open windows, lots of natural light. Van gave me a deluxe pedicure with gel today, it was the perfect way to relax! The total cost was fair and reasonable. I am reluctant to post my toes, but I am very pleased with the results. My cuticles and callus are all gone, completely soft! I got a nail dip. They were very thin. Air dried. The next day, I came in and the clear top coat was shattered. The nail technician said the top coat must've been old and fixed them. Each day the nails were shattering, cracking and breaking off. Worst mani I ever received. Nails looked crappy by day 4. I wont return and have shown my friends, who also will not return. read more

Here are some of the many things I was extremely happy with: I made an appointment request through yelp and I received a response within 2 minutes confirming my asked for time slot. When my mom and I showed up for our pedicures, they had our stations completely prepped and ready. When we were nearing the end, they happily made time for a manicure I hadn't originally planned on. From start to finish, our pedicures took less than an hour and my manicure only added another 20-25 minutes. The staff was so friendly and were wonderful to work with. Good experience, but not great, so docking 2 stars for the following reasons: 1. I had an appointment at 10:00am. I showed up a few minutes before and the gal who was going to be doing my nails (Van) has just started someone else's nails. This is one of my biggest pet peeves when I make an appointment that isn't honored and why I stopped going to 10 Nails Bar. Regardless she still got to me at 10:30 (there were a lot of errands I could have run in those 30 minutes!) 2. I got dipping powder, but they don't do 100% dipping powder. They top the manicure off with a gel coat. I specifically sought out this location for their dipping powder and was disappointed when they didn't do the full process. As a result, my manicure chipped and pulled up a bit (the reason I don't like shellac). Overall - id likely go to this place for a normal standard manicure, but only on a day when I have flexibility in my schedule. Otherwise I will stick with Oasis in Hazel Dell. read more

I love this place. The outside isn't anything special but when you come in you see these beautiful plants, they have nice light shades on the ceiling. They do great nails also. I always get a gel pedi, they have this option that uses hot stones and it's so relaxing. My nails are perfect coffin nails, I got ombré with white toes. I have went here three or four times to get Deluxe Spa french pedis. They always do such a great job. They also give great calf massages. This is my go-to girl's day out location. They have really nice massage chairs and tanks. They also get you in pretty quickly even if you don't have an appointment. Although, I recommend one. I love coffee and always get a hot Vietnamese coffee. So tasty. With drink and pedi combined, I pay an even $40 not including tip. Not a bad way to spoil myself. read more

I feel terrible writing this review because the owner is such a nice lady. But I went to this place because they had elite chrome, what I've gotten many times in Portland. Got the manicure and it looked great, but day after it chipped and a nail broke which I never have my nails break. I went in and she "fixed" my nails but they just looked awful. For spending $50, it looked like I did them myself. One week after the fix and it's chipping and another nail broke. I'm looking for a different nail salon as I don't believe the work is quality here. read more
