I am used to my appointments being 15-20 minutes long because they pride themselves on quick service. My boyfriend and I share a car and we had to go pick up his kids from school before my appointment and then I told them to just wait in the car because my appointment would only be 15 minutes. Easy peasy. Kids wouldn't get antsy or fight and we'd be home by 4:30 (my appointment was at 4). The morning of my appointment I got a call that my waxer was out for the day so I would be with someone else. Which is totally fine with me! Until it wasn't. I got to my appointment right on time, then was told I had to wait a few minutes. Which is fine because I usually have to wait about 3-5 minutes. 10 minutes goes by and my waxer finally came out to take me to the back. I've never seen her before at this location so I assumed she was newer, but I know they train well so I wasn't worried. Finally she starts my wax and it's all going well and she's chatting with me and making me feel comfortable, she is pulling my skin taught so it doesn't hurt and it's going really well! Then she kept going over the same spot, over and over again. Which I know is because she wanted to get all the hairs out, but I felt it getting later and later and I knew my boyfriend and his kids were waiting in the car and I just knew that they were getting antsy. Anyways, she did a great job, but I checked my phone at the end and it was 4:50!!! 4:50?! 40 minutes to do a Brazilian. I'm fine with having a new person, but I would've love to know she was going to take that long for my appointment! That was ridiculous!! And no one even seemed to apologize about it. When I finally was at checkout, I didn't even want to schedule again because 1. I didn't know if I'd want to come back to this location, even though it's the closest to my house and 2. I was now in a rush because my appointment was 35 minutes over what I thought it would be. We had someplace to be and now we were really late for it. I'm really disappointed in my service this past experience. Warn your customers if it's a newer waxer and if they take longer so they can plan better. You are in customer service after all! That should have been my first clue that this might not go well... The technician was pleasant enough and seemed competent, but her command of English is less than ideal as I had to repeat my requests numerous times. I asked for a gentle gel removal, which she didn't seem to understand. The gel removal brush on she used seems efficient, but when I removed the nail polish, my nails are ridiculously damaged. The salon is untidy, dusty, and in places dirty and grimy. This is probably the worst manicure I have ever received. Attached are photos of my manicure, at less than 24 hours after leaving the salon. I did not wash dishes or take a shower or have my hands in water of any fashion. I have also edited to add photos of how damaged my nails are. I have regular manicures, with occasional gel polish, and my nails are never like this. I cannot recommend this salon in good conscience to anyone.

It was at first a pleasant experience. It's funny that she pointed out lifting on my previous nails and assured she would do a better job, well, that wasn't true. (My prior nails were week 3 nails and none had come off.) I came in on Friday Sep 26th, and I'm writing this review on October 4th, 8 days after my appointment. (I have one nail left on my hands that's still done.... 9 had broken off or fallen off...) By the next day, the 27th, one of my nails had already lifted and FALLEN OFF my nail. I was working and couldn't reach out till the following Monday-- By Monday, I had lost about 4 nails and here we are now, I wanted to see how long they'd last, and it doesn't look great. I wouldn't recommend this salon. Especially not for hard gel or gel x! Don't waste your money!!
