Just moved to the area from CA and I was looking for a place to start going to so I called Lucky Nails to ask if they did acrylic toes. Well..my question wasn't answered. I kindly asked if they did acrylic pedicures and the man who answered the phone rudely answered, " what do you mean acrylic pedicures? Acrylic is acrylic and a pedicure is a pedicure... I believe I was not rude and asked a valid question, being that I've asked for acrylic pedicures for over 10 years now... Anyway, I had enough with his answer and tone. I quickly said never mind and ended the call. I will gladly take my business to a deserving nail technician who is anything but rude and unprofessional. read more

Underwhelmed with my experience here. I called about a week and a half ago to schedule an appointment for the following week... was asked if I could call back closer to the actual day I wanted since their system couldn't reserve that far in advance. Was a bit curious about that response but said okay, no problem and did exactly that the following week. Showed up for my appointment yesterday and all 3 techs were busy. I saw that one person was ahead of me and contemplated leaving, but didn't want to go through the trouble of finding a new place on short notice. I was seen half an hour later and had to ask to see the gel nail options, as no one bothered to provide them to me or tell me where they were while I was waiting. The actual experience of getting my nails done was quick but thoughtless. Told the tech my desired length and shape twice and still did not get exactly what I wanted. I chose polish #86 at first but then switched to #84; when the tech brought back #86 I just gave up on speaking anymore since it was obvious I wouldn't be listened to. (Good thing I still liked #86.) While cleaning up my cuticles and painting my nails the tech would look back at a tablet to periodically check his football game that was playing. Nail polish got onto my skin at one point, and after leaving I realized there was a slight scuff on my thumb that wiped away some polish. My appointment was for a gel mani/pedi but I didn't want to spend more money than necessary at such a haphazard place so I just left after the mani. I should mention that if you are mildly COVID cautious, this place has virtually no precautions except for wearing masks and having dividers between the customer and staff. During my time waiting no new customers were advised to wash their hands upon entry or use the hand sanitizer. The gel nail options were not sanitized prior to being given to me, even though the person before me was touching each and every one. I did not see them wash/sanitize tools between customers. - expect for a few pedi chairs. So, in short, the cleanliness at this establishment is questionable. The only reason this review is 3 stars and not 2 is because someone complimented my nail beds today. So I suppose the $35 I spent here wasn't a complete loss. Unfortunately however, it is unlikely that I'll be back. read more

that last two times i have gone, Ken has told me his debit machine wasnt working and made me take cash out to pay for my nails. the first time i dismissed it but the second time another customer paid while i was getting my nails done, ken told me that the debit card machine wasnt working and i said "really? the lady before me paid using it just a few minutes ago?" he said "oh one second let me check" and guess what? it magically started working again lmao ‍ the work they do is fine, but i will not be going back, it made me feel weird and gross that they lie to get their customers to pay in cash. read more

Worst experience ever. I was excited at first because my nails looked great. Until 2 days later, they started to turn yellow and were coming up. I called the salon and took time to stop by and show them the problems that were happening on so many of the nails and they told me that it wasn't their problem and they weren't going to fix it. I've never experienced such terrible service. Also, the salon is not very clean. I most definitely will not be coming back not recommending them to anyone. read more

First time in, the guy that helped me seemed like they were in a rush and there was only 3 people (customers in there) I do dip powder their process here is completely different than any other salon I've Been too. He put 4 layers not cool now my nails look too thick I'm more of a natural nail look person. He left sticky stuff on my hands from the soak of my old dip, I asked him to make all my nails even he didn't so half my nails on different hands don't match, and then when he went to put lotion he yanked my arm, and then squeezed my fingers so hard when he was done. I'm kind of sad having to do this but I wasn't pleased with my last visit at all. So, on a Thursday I made a fill appointment for Friday at 3pm. I arrived at about 2:30pm because it takes me awhile to pick a color. When I got in there and sat down to look at colors Ken 1. Didn't recognize who I was after doing my nails and chatting with me several times now. 2. When I told him I had an appointment at 3 he said "oh..." and then I knew he was going to ask me to come back because there were 2 other women waiting as well. (He seems to be the only one who does everything else other than mani/pedis.) He asked me if I could come back later, about 5pm, which wouldn't work for me. I was debating on going to another salon but I love how fast and amazingly he does my nails so I just rescheduled to Sunday. When I came back in Sunday he, again, asked me "Can I help you?" So again I told him I had an appointment, and AGAIN, he looked frantic and said, "oh okay..." and had me seated in a chair to do my nails. I knew he must have been trying to multitask between me and another client because there was a women in the pedicure chair behind me shaking her head. He rushed through my nails, in between trying to do something on his phone stopping every couple mins. He finished my fill in under 40 mins and must have known his demeanor was less than pleasant because he was even surprised when I tipped him. He does a GREAT job. But I didn't appreciate being moved around even have making an appointment. I get running late, but you shouldn't be agreeing to appointments if you're just going to keep taking walkins. I'm sorry to say ill have to find a new nail salon. read more

Made an appointment ahead of time for 11:30 (originally asked for an appointment at 11, but because we had a party of 3 they said they could only do an 11:30). We arrive at 11:20 and they were already working on other people, after they finished one lady's nails they helped another person. We waited an hour and a half before being helped. Might as well not make an appointment and just walk in, since they help walk ins before appointments. read more

Rude behavior...I made an appointment for a Monday 11 am, woke up sick with bad stomach ache, called at 7am left voice mail to cancel.... they called at 11:15 am asked where I was, I told them they should of listened to there voice mail but that I would like to come in next day if better, then decided give it an extra day so I told him Wed. Lena and her brother Jon recently opened Lucky Nails (I believe they took over a nail salon at that same location?) - they keep a clean shop, and are friendly and professional. She did a really good job on my nails (got a fill) even fixed the messed up nails the place I had gone to before did. Like literally reshaped the nails.
