I forgot to get the names of the peeps who helped me. But I'm impressed at the quality. I rarely get my nails done like this because I'm always afraid it'll turn out ugly. Shape is exactly what I wanted. It's not too thick, but feels solid. Also. They were quite friendly! I'll be coming back!

The work I got done on my nails was the best I've had in Vancouver/ Portland. I believe it was the owner who did my nails. He did an absolutely fantastic job. Only thing I could suggest is some cleaning& organization. Other than that. Thank you, will be back :)

KEN IS MY FAVORITE AND ONLY MAIL TECH I WILL GO TOO! I let him decide what color for my nails every time I come in and he never disappoints! He's quick and always does a great job, highly recommend!

Worst experience ever. I was excited at first because my nails looked great. Until 2 days later, they started to turn yellow and were coming up. I called the salon and took time to stop by and show them the problems that were happening on so many of the nails and they told me that it wasn't their problem and they weren't going to fix it. I've never experienced such terrible service. Also, the salon is not very clean. I most definitely will not be coming back not recommending them to anyone.

Lucky nails is my absolute favorite place to get my nails done ! Ken is the only person I trust with my nails . He does such a amazing job every time I come in, he's always up to date on the newest nail trends and makes my nails look flawless !! He is nice and is always good conversation while I'm getting my nails done, my boyfriend even enjoys himself lol . His wife is also awesome at waxing & she's quick !! Which is a plus while getting waxed (: And not to mention the prices are on point . I never go anywhere else . I HIGHLY recommend this place . They never disappoint with their excellent service .

My sister, mom and I went there today for the first time. They were all super nice! They did an excellent job. Specially the gentleman that helped me. I think his name was ken. I just picked the color and let him do whatever else he thought would look good. He took his time to make my nails look fabulous. Charged me around $40 which was great! First time I tried them, I liked my nails and they lasted a good 3 weeks... But this last time I was not happy at all. It's only been 4 days since I got my nails done, and so far both nails on my thumb broke and the color of the polish changed, when I went back today to get them fixed he wanted to charge me $45 to change the color and fix 2 nails... I won't return there.

I love this cute little keychain they have at the front!! I always forget the names of places and lose the cards.

I'm kind of sad having to do this but I wasn't pleased with my last visit at all. So, on a Thursday I made a fill appointment for Friday at 3pm. I arrived at about 2:30pm because it takes me awhile to pick a color. When I got in there and sat down to look at colors Ken 1. Didn't recognize who I was after doing my nails and chatting with me several times now. 2. When I told him I had an appointment at 3 he said "oh..." and then I knew he was going to ask me to come back because there were 2 other women waiting as well. (He seems to be the only one who does everything else other than mani/pedis.) He asked me if I could come back later, about 5pm, which wouldn't work for me. I was debating on going to another salon but I love how fast and amazingly he does my nails so I just rescheduled to Sunday. When I came back in Sunday he, again, asked me "Can I help you?" So again I told him I had an appointment, and AGAIN, he looked frantic and said, "oh okay..." and had me seated in a chair to do my nails. I knew he must have been trying to multitask between me and another client because there was a women in the pedicure chair behind me shaking her head. He rushed through my nails, in between trying to do something on his phone stopping every couple mins. He finished my fill in under 40 mins and must have known his demeanor was less than pleasant because he was even surprised when I tipped him. He does a GREAT job. But I didn't appreciate being moved around even have making an appointment. I get running late, but you shouldn't be agreeing to appointments if you're just going to keep taking walkins. I'm sorry to say ill have to find a new nail salon.

Ken is the man, he is better than Pinterest. I like that he has so many ideas and can do what I want and even tell me what will look better. He is quick and efficient. It's hard to find a nail person to not only do a good job but to know what you want and understand you. He is also such a kind person. I feel like he already taught me a lot about life in one session. Go to Ken, you won't be disappointed.

I went in knowing I wanted a pedicure, but not sure about my nails. They gave me honest advice and opinions. They could have suggested the most expensive service on the menus, but they didn't. I love my nails and the experience. I will definitely be back!!! read more

I ended up coming here because the place up the street was super over crowed. I was pleasantly surprised. She did a really good job on my nails (got a fill) even fixed the messed up nails the place I had gone to before did. Like literally reshaped the nails. It doesn't look like a lot but they do a good job. Only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because the place was not very appealing on the inside like it needs an update and kinda of a mess. Also they did have their kid running around. Which I understand but I come to get away from my kids for me time lol. read more

I've been to a lot of places to get my pedicures and manicures, and this by far is the best experience I've ever had. They do quality fast work and Ken is great at creating a friendly culture that makes you feel comfortable. If you care at all about getting a great customer service experience, then you should try them out! read more

The staff here are amazing!! They perfected the image I wanted done for my nails. They took their time to do my nails the way I asked and usually that's the problem when I go to a new salon but they were friendly, communicative, and great customer service. I'm usually hesitant about trying new places but I needed a new place to go and I definitely find one here at lucky nails and I believe you'll be pleased with lucky nails too!! read more

First time I've gotten my nails done in a while & since my birthday is coming up I decided to come here and let me tell you I fell in love ! The place is super nice the staff is so sweet and my nails are gorgeous I always recieve compliments, I showed my technician the nails I wanted and he did an even better job ! he even added a little something special for my birthday. You can't really see them in video but in person there are some little stars that glow in the dark ! this has been the only place I've seen them in my area I'm so glad I was able to get them done here read more

DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME !!! HoRRIBLE and UNPROFESSIONAL SERVICE !!! The guy (Ken) is so unprofessional and hurt my nails and kept stopping to watch a basketball game on his phone !! What a piece of sh**!!! He filed my nails so low and it broke that night and another one broke the next day !!! Never again will I go there !! When I called to let him know, he told me I wAsnt a regular customer and some broken English I couldn't understand ... then he remembered and said oh your the Asian girl oh why you sound Black ?!!? Your ghetto !! Wtf!!!! What a f-en racist !!! You should not be in business A*****e!!! This man doing my nails was looking at his phone the whole time and watching football and stopping to check the scores for it. While he would do my nails he was quite rough and his nails doug into my thumbs when he was trying to hold my hand steady. The man that did my nail polish was gentle and kind though. read more

I was not impressed or able to see why there are so many good reviews. I got a pedicure and the paint chipped in 2 days. I've never had a pedicure that chip that quickly, it's disappointing. I waited 20 minutes to get started even though they told me 5 minutes when I asked how long the wait was. This place isn't dirty but it also didn't feel very clean and I had to walk across the tile floors in my bare feet to put my feet under the UV lights, it felt gross. The overall experience was not relaxing or deserving of 4 or 5 stars. read more

My daughter and I were looking for a place to get Pedicures and I looked on Yelp and they had great reviews. Also when were were in the mall getting our eyebrows done at Eyebrows plus Jessica recommended Lucky nails. I called and they are open till 7 p.m. on Saturday. I called and he asked us to come in at 6:30 p.m. We got there a little early and they took us right in. Great service, great people and great prices. We will be going back Thank you read more

Ken does my nails at a very quick, but never rushed. So far he has never left me dissatisfied. Their price is always pretty fair. My full sets have lasted about 2-3 weeks and always looked phenomenal right after every service I got done. Another peeve of mine other than being rushed is when nail techs are too harsh. My cuticles have never bled nor have I felt any soreness/pain that other places have left me feeling before. I always hopped from one nail salon to another and never had a regular, Lucky nails is now my first ever go-to place. Will definitely comeback again for another fill. read more

This was my third time here Came here at 4:30pm and they were so busy so I offered to come back later. They told me to come back at 5:30. So I left and came back at exactly 5:30 and it was obvious they took more clients while I was gone and they told me to have a seat and wait till they are done. I gave them a chance and was okay with waiting a little bit longer even though it was VERY annoying. I waited 20 minutes and they started a pedicure on a lady. I waited another 10 minutes and they were barely filing down the acrylics on the other clients. So clearly they weren't gonna be done anytime soon. I waited half an hour. That's ridiculous so I left. So rude of them to just push me to the side when I tried to be nice and patient. Never going back. read more

Acrylics fell off in 10 days. Lots of residue left on fingers. Terrible polish selection (options, but they are cheap and chip quickly.) Acrylics we're also very thick and rounded unevenly. Won't be coming back. Adela nails is officially the best spot in the east Couv area. read more

I got a gel manicure with my mom today. All of the staff was kind and worked quickly. Three star rating because they immediately whipped out the dremel to remove the old gel polish on my nails (as opposed to filing and soaking it off) without asking, which I can't stand and feel like thrashes the nail. It was $28 for the manicure. Not bad, but more expensive than where I usually go, for much less of a "spa" experience. That being said, they did a nice job. read more

I've been here twice. Both time just got an acrylic fill. The first time I was charged $25 the second time I was charged $40. The person doing my nails wasn't gentle and cut me a few times so I'm not gonna be going back. Did good paint job but didn't do half the things I asked for. read more

I went in for my birthday with a friend of mine. she got a normal manicure and I got a full set of acrylic nails? The nail tech who worked on me was SO RUDE. she absolutely refused to do what I wanted and I told her I wanted them SHORT. They are so long that I feel like when I'm texting I'm drunk with how difficult it is. I NEVER get this kind of stuff done and it was a surprise to me from my boyfriend and my good friend to do this. I have been feeling very down about myself after being in two horrible car accidents and having my best friend die just over a year ago. This was meant to be a good experience. I will not return. I don't understand how someone that YOU ARE LITERALLY PAYING FOR A SERVICE would refuse to give you what you ask for? Especially when my requests were so incredibly Simple and reasonable...I wanted them rounded and natural looking and short. I ended up with long nails that are more pointed like almond shape. I am not super feminine and play the guitar and with these claws there's no way to do any of those things. The nails themselves are also crooked on my fingers and pointed UPWARDS when I specifically asked that they be level and flat and to be sure they did NOT point upwards because I hate how that looks. I wanted them flat with my last knuckle like a natural nail. They are so ugly overall and I am really sad about it because we spent a lot of money and this was pretty much my only birthday thing. She also did not push up my cuticles at all and just slapped the glue over my grown out cuticles. Also lots of little excess bits on my skin that she didn't bother to remove or smooth out. Absolutely ridiculous and embarrassing. I am very disappointed and again, I will NEVER ever return and never recommend this place to anyone. read more

I walked in after they were about to close and asked them if they can take my acrylic nails of. He accepted me after hours and the price on that was very affordable! Plus my nails didn't look ugly after they got my acrylics off and I got them painted very carefully and they ended up looking great! Thank you guys! read more

I've been going to a place in Portland that's very close to my work, but never again! My experience here was wayyyy better. She removed my old shellac (that was lumpy and started peeling after a week) and applied new polish in about 40 minutes, she was so quick and the quality is great! She was also the first person in a long time to ask me how long/what shape I wanted before she started doing anything. My new go to place for my nails! read more

I got my nails done at Lucky Nails and I was not impressed. The older man and woman were very rude. The younger boy was nice and did a good job. At one point in me and my friends visit the older man actually hit the younger man. It was a little hit to the arm but the point Is that's not professional or okay. read more

(My prior nails were week 3 nails and none had come off.) I came in on Friday Sep 26th, and I'm writing this review on October 4th, 8 days after my appointment. (I have one nail left on my hands that's still done.... 9 had broken off or fallen off...) By the next day, the 27th, one of my nails had already lifted and FALLEN OFF my nail. I was working and couldn't reach out till the following Monday-- By Monday, I had lost about 4 nails and here we are now, I wanted to see how long they'd last, and it doesn't look great. I wouldn't recommend this salon. Especially not for hard gel or gel x! Don't waste your money!!

Lucky Nails is a great local nail salon! I have taken my family there and recommended friends. The owners are very customer service oriented and it shows. This is a family salon and Ken, is a true artist as well! I'm impressed with their quality and their price. He can do all the trending techniques and applications. I would pay far more for his level of expertise. I'm hard on my nails and don't get regular fills. My nails don't lift and I tend to want full set versus fills -- which can be even harder on nail beds. My nail beds are healthy and since they don't over file I don't have ridges with grow out which is a problem I've seen with other shops. Ken does exceptional work and it is typical for me to receive compliments on my nails at work, because of where I go. read more

Ken, did work in Lloyd Center, and I got to know him there, then, he and wife struck out on their own, and I can only say, WELL DONE, VERY WELL DONE. ITS A GREAT SHOP AND THEY DO TOP NOTCH WORK.
