Upon arrival for a walk in a mani for me and a pedi for daughter - they sat me down and did the aluminum foil wrap to take off my old polish. I sat there for 45 mins with that one. I felt like a hostage! My daughter sat in the pedi chair with absolutely no attention for that whole time, too. She finally had to leave bc she had other errands to run and the people working here got angry and were speaking in their language and it was pretty obvious they weren't happy with her for leaving. My mani took about 20 mins and is by far the WORST I've ever had. I went into the establishment, after months of saving for the trip and asked for a mani-pedi. Most of the time nail salons know that you are asking for a manicure, pedicure. She asked me to choose my color, and to come back to the chair. The woman was complaining that there was no one there and I was her first client. It was around 2:45 when I arrived. She complained that the weather was so cold that no customers were coming in. I did not think much of it at the time, "someone just having a bad day!" She started with the pedicure, and I was watching a show. After a few more minutes had passed, she turned to me and said "do you want a gel manicure?" I said I have never had one, are they more money? She said no, no. Mani-pedi $35. I couLd not understand her. I did not answer. She was busy watching the show as well, and I had already chosen my polish, and not "gel" polish, so I assumed she understood the regular service was what I came in for and that is what I wanted. She started polishing my fingernails and I said "the smell is making me sick. I did not realize she had retrieved a container of gel polish in place of they regular polish I had selected! I have never smelled this before, you better stop!" She said "no smell, no smell"..she brought out the light to cure the product and I knew it was very strong stuff!! I wanted her to finish so I could leave. My bill came to $70.00. I am 71 years old on SSI. All I could do is refuse to tip and know that the money I had not planned to spend will need to come from savings for my medication this month. And too leave! Please let this be a warning of how corrupt and uncaring society is of the elderly. Do Not leave anyone alone there that may have health concerns. Well I thought I found my new place, but I will never go here again. 1. Even having an appointment they were running 20 min behind schedule. 2. She was hard on my nails and they were sore. 3. She brought over another customer and was going back and forth after the other customer was done before me she the other women had a fungus in her nail. She we to go continue working on mine and needed me to tell her to go wash her hands and make sure tools were cleaned, but then on two nails a fungus appeared...she told me it was ok and it was the same thing the other customer had. If I could give this place a zero I would! Second time here for family and first time was my girls, they were rude unprofessional to us we even set a appointment and they had to wait 45 minutes they told us a price when we set the appointment and magically increased by 20 ounce they were done. Second experience, mother and sister in-law and wife to be made appointment at 5 so they can all sit together and have a good experience well surprise surprise they had to wait 30 minutes to be seen then they were separate and done at different times so my wife spoke up and said I thought we were all supposed to sit together and out of all people the owner told her to calm down and sit so I showed up waiting for them to get done at all different times as I'm sitting the owner and another employee was standing on the chair next to me pulling posters down behind my head and leaning over me I sat there for a few minutes to see if they would say excuse me but no I had to get up go outside and wait. Another thing both times setting appointments there has been a problem so I think there's lack of English there as well. I guess the owner sunny does a good job but none of the girls will be going there again we will drive further and pay more to have common respect read more

I went here for a couple years. They always made me wait 1+ hour before getting seating, yes even with an appointment scheduled. I could request a certain person and not be put with them anyway. One time I was having my nails done and asked for very long nails, and they did it and then later added a $10 charge for "long nails" I was like "what?? The nail comes long?" It was just rude and weird. One time I went and the women doing my nails cut me and caused me to bleed a couple times. She was rushing so fast and kept getting up to talk to other ladies in the back and they were giggling and dancing around. One time I went in for a blue ombré with clear chrome. Had an appointment for 1 pm with Sonny. Get seating finally at 2 pm with some random lady. She said she can't do an ombré. I'm like ok just paint them blue with the chrome. She does dark blue paint and adds a chrome which turns them dark green. She said "$55" I'm like "look at my reference photo (light blue ombré with shiny chrome) I didn't ask for this." She's like "normally that is $70. I'm only charging you $55". I'm like "no I'm not paying for this. They look terrible" (which they did by the way. Super uneven). Sonny, who is the male owner by the way, starts talking to her in Vietnamese and then she tells me "fine just leave and don't come back" and I said "ok I won't" and left. Terrible service. Terrible nails. Only talented person there is Sonny's wife but she has a terrible attitude and is always late. Just do not bother going here. It is a miserable environment. read more

I'm either leaving with some type of cut on my fingers from them cutting my cuticles too much, polish all over my skin, or nails not painted all the way. I have always enjoyed this place and chose the owner (sonny) to do my nails. He gave me his number to text to him whenever I needed my nails done. He would always say some weird comments to me on how beautiful I was but I ignored it because it's probably used for tips. The time before this, he asked if I had a boyfriend and i replied no. He then proceeded to tell me i am his now and he's my boyfriend. Very awkward and uncomfortable Many other times before this he would touch my face or one time swiped my private as I got up which I thought was by accident. Still is not okay. Today is the last day i'll step foot in there. I am under 18 so this was not okay to say. He knows i'm a minor because he was asking how school is. He kept making his uncomfortable jokes as usual and I was awkwardly laughing hoping the process would be over quick!! I was supposed to have my appointment yesterday, but could not because I ended up being busy (thank you Jesus) He says "i wish you could have came yesterday (sunday) because I work by myself and it could be just you and me" At the end of the process, he told me to tickle his hand. Being very inappropriate, he proceeded to tell me how I should tickle his back. To make the situation even worse, he then states he wishes someone to make a tickle "massage" place and I awkwardly laugh to agree. He then states "maybe me and you can tickle each other head to toe" SOO GROSS, and then continues by saying "some day???" After that long disgusting process, as I'm signing the receipt, he says "you should text me more often like 'good morning, good night". Very weird and not right at all... Warning to all ladies that go there especially by yourself. This man needs to be reported and I am considering saying something. read more

Got a full set of solar nails and the tech was very nice and took her time to make sure they were done perfectly and asked every step of the way if I liked them or if they were looking ok. Worst set of nails I've ever had they are AWFUL. They are miss shaped lumpy, uneven and not even completely painted, there is acrylic still stuck to my skin in multiple places. My cuticles weren't pushed back and neither the paint nor acrylic meets up to my cuticle, they look like they've had 4 or 5 days to grow out already. They Look nothing like the photo I had shown the nail tech of the shape I was looking for. All I asked for was ballerina shape, nothing crazy or complicated. they are heart breakingly terrible. I went to this salon based on its high rating, but never again. I have to try and get these fixed on a holiday weekend. Really disappointing read more

Worst nail salon I've ever been to... Went in for a pedicure. Was seated at a chair with Luke warm water and the jets never turned on. Waited 20 minutes for someone to even come over and start on me because they sat a girl down for a fill that came in after me and was worked on right away. Had to repeatedly ask for the tech to be gentle with my heels that were sore from shoes, but she kept being rough with them even after multiple reminders. Had to ask for cuticles to be trimmed which should be automatically done. Also requested to have the bottom for my feet scraped and she said okay. When going to pay she said the scraping was $5 extra... That is something she should have disclosed before doing. Lastly, it was the slowest pedi I've ever gotten... Not slow as in relaxing, but slow as in no motivation or enthusiasm... Will never go back to this sad salon... read more

Made an appointment, waited 30 minutes, only to have them loudly and belligerently scold us for requesting a different nail service then what was heard over the phone by whomever answered it. Further rudeness when we declined the constant upgrades and extra charges they kept trying to push on us. My client got her toe nails clipped. The technician cut her nails too short and made it bleed. My client is 96 years old. Any cut could cause an infection. When i said something to the tech she said it was t her fault and that she didnt cup them too short. He feet didnt have an bloody spots on her toes before we went to the salon. I don't know why there are so many bad reviews for 1010 nails. I have been going there for quite a while and my nails have not looked prettier or been healthier. I get acrylics and I have never had mold growing under my nails, which I've had other places. In fact, I also have never had my nails lift up. When they fill my nails they check for any lifted acrylic, but they very rarely find any. That is how good their fills are. I love the fact that they use a plastic wrap for the pedicure spa. It ensures that there is no bacteria left over from any other customers. I will continue coming to 1010 nails for all my mani/pedis. Jodi read more
