I came to this place for a no-polish manicure & pedicure and left disappointed -- and then quite concerned. Within a few days of the pedicure, my pinky toenail started lifting and peeling, then came off. It left a painful stub of nail behind that kept snagging and tearing. It was painful enough that I couldn't work out or run, and I even had to take a break from shoes for a couple of days. I've never had anything like this happen before, and the timing lines up directly with the service. The rest of the appointment also felt low-effort. The no-polish manicure included no buffing at all, so my nails looked just as ridged as when I walked in. The shaping was lazy -- they clipped my nails straight across, quickly filed, and moved on. Cuticle work was harsh; it felt like they were just chopping cuticles off rather than doing careful prep. Finally, the hygiene practices made me uneasy. After using the foot tools, the tech dunked them in the same wash basin I had my feet in and then put them back in the tray. I read the other reviews before coming to this place and figured I would give it a shot anyway, but I wish I hadn't. read more

I tried this for the first time yesterday. When I went to wash my hands before I started, I saw there was no soap in the bathroom. When I came out, I told the girl that was working on me. She then went in the bathroom and came back out after she finished, but did not put any soap in the bathroom. I told the manager and she just stared at me. I then watched three other technicians go in bathroom after that. my tech was very rude, would not converse at all. when I mentioned I had paid extra for callous removal, and asked what that entailed. she snapped at me saying she had already done it using a grater. she barked that I hadn't paid attention. today my big toenail is hurting and I'm hoping there's not an infection. this place was dirty and unprofessional. steer clear! read more

Bad nail place and service. (Allegedly) they gave me a permanent allergy to acrylate after filing into my finger(s). After seeing what appeared to be possible chemical burns I called them and the person who answered the phone yelled at me and hung up. Kept waking up in the middle of the night in so much pain, had to ice soak my fingers multiple times. Not worth the experience, and can't get my nails done anymore without the allergy symptoms. read more

Will not be coming back. Been coming here for about a year and always get a fill with gel and a pedi with regular polish. Last time i came in I had to come back later that day because the nail tech forgot to put final coat of clear on one of my nails . So I had 9 nails glossy and one matte. Okay... so she forgot no big deal. This time my appointment was at 10o'clock . All 4 employees finally showed up at 10:10 with 4 customers waiting outside the door . Had to explain 3 times that I wanted gel fingers and polish toes. Pedi water was cold. My mom who was sitting next to me had to move to a different pedi chair because the massage features were not working. They were upset she wanted to move. Then made her walk ( she's 77) with bare wet feet 3 seats down . Note on the front door says owner currently out of town. Then ... they put the wrong nail color on my mom's toes! read more

Very friendly service and bustling little place! Light, bright and clean, Don's Nails is a welcoming and warm environment. Currently following an indoor masking protocol. The staff is kind and accommodating and it's clear there are frequent repeat customers by the way they greet one another and interact. Would recommend an appointment as they are busy and fill up on walk-ins quickly. My Deluxe Pedicure which was very reasonably priced included a foot soak, nail and cuticle trim, heel buff, paraffin wax, hot stone massage and sugar scrub finished off with a polish. The pedicure took approximately 1 hour was I was seated and I only had to wait for about 5-10 minutes for my 1:30 - remember, it's busy! I am so angry! After a mediocre pedicure I went in the next day for some waxing. I had my face and legs done. Moderate cost. As she was finishing while the pores were open she put baby oil on my forehead and left side of my face when I smelled it and told her that baby oil is not for use on open pores. She told me it was gentle for baby skin and that's what she chose. I was so frustrated but did not continue to discuss it. 2 days later I completely broke out and 3 weeks later I am still broken out and dermatologist said I will have to just try exfoliating. read more

Caution: Make sure they do you nails the way you asked for them. I'm never going back to Don's Nails again. I've had my nails done the exact same way the last two times, hombre dip powder. Today one of the owners, the wife told the girl doing my nails to use jell, they did clear dip on the bottom. I said this is not what I asked for, she said it would look the same they are the same colors. I get pink with glitter on the bottom the dip powder makes the glitter portion look sprinkled on vs the jell as you see in this picture looks painted on across. The owner said well every nail tech does it different. I said to her the girl doing my nails did my nails the last two times the way I wanted them. The owner finished my nails but not really because they were practically done. The other girl got up, I wish I would have said to her that it wasn't her fault because the owner told her what do. My daughter went in with a full set of nails, and wanted a fill. She told the girl she was there for a fill before the tech started. The girl took her nails completely off! When my daughter went up to pay they said it was $65 she haded them a $100 bill. When she was handing my daughter her change the lady said oh give me $10. When I called them to ask why they gave her a new set the said that is what she asked for. After arguing with them and not getting anywhere I told them that I would be writing a review for them and said goodbye. Good quality for the price. The salon itself is fairly small, but well ventilated. The workers are friendly and great about listening to what you want. That being said, their shaping skills are hit or miss. I've come here a couple times and for the most part I've left happy, but there has been a time or two that my set turned out uneven or too thick. I made an appointment for a fill and I showed up on time I waited 30 minutes after my appointment time, and finally when I got in the lady that was doing my nails kept getting my skin with the tools and I asked her to not cut them too short I just wanted them to be square and just trimmed well she kept messing up and filling well almost an hour and a half later there was almost nothing left of my acrylics. When she started to put the acrylic on them on my thumb there was way more on one side than the other so when I said something she said I'll fix it well she didn't fix it my nail on my thumb is the thickest it's ever been and way shorter than the other thumb. The lady kept rounding the edges when I asked her to do them square. Finally we get to the paint and she got this black on my ring finger and she was just going to leave it I said can you please get that off she had to completely remove the color and redo that whole nail and she didn't even do the same amount of coats that she did the other nails. She was rude while she was doing my nails and now I have uneven nails and they are down to nothing. Do not go here they are awful. read more

Gave this place too many chances... and I am done. Pros: 1. They provide fresh set of nail filer at no charge. 2.Nail Technicians are decent but pay attention to what they do. Cons: 1.Appointment systems on their website isn't working 2. Last 4 times appointment was never promised! Today I checked in 12pm sharp and waited 35min and out the door at 1:40pm (for fill). Last time I asked for the 1st appointment and I was at 10am sharp ... first employee came to the store at 10:10am and finally started my nails at 10:25pm. WTH! I asked the guy who took my appointment why appointment was never promised. He said because they weren't expected to have many walk in customers. So I guess it's first come first serve then?!. I now go exclusively to Don's! Sami makes my nails look like perfection. Sam is an expert as well! Lynn gives an amazing pedicure. Unfortunately I have to leave a bad review. I've been a loyal customer at this nail salon for years. While most of them do good work, there are ones that don't. To treat a loyal customer like they did to me yesterday drove me away from ever returning. I went in last Monday for a fill before my trip on Wednesday. By Friday 3 nails had broken and lifted off my nail bed, and others were weak. I had to glue on nails so they wouldn't look ghetto for an event. When I returned yesterday (week later) I called the salon as soon as I landed to make an appointment and asked if they would fix free of charge. They said okay and I went in. A guy there looked at my nails and said they could remove the polish and check my nails since there was concern the other nails were going to break. The tech doing my nails said she would charge $5. She removed 2 more weak nails and proceeded to do a new fill. I wasn't expecting an entire new fill, only on the broken ones. But I thought she was going above and beyond. At the end she charged me for a fill and fixing all the nails. So I was even expected to pay way over what I pay for just a routine fill. Plus I gave a nice tip due to their "generosity" which ended up being not. So I tried to explain what I was told and they didn't understand, so this bums me out! I paid $80 for nail services in 1 week! I got a crappy nail job and they didn't extend good customer service to make it right. If you do insist on going here make an appointment with Sammy when she works. She did the best nail job. read more

My mom and I stopped in here to get pedicures and were really pleased by both the quality of the work and the sweet and friendly family that runs it. I've since been back because of my positive experience. They do a careful and precise job with painting. But I think the best part of the experience is that employees are warm and considerate, and seem genuinely happy and to like one other (no uncomfortable dynamics to tolerate). They also don't push an upsell, and offer wine or minimosas, which I really appreciate =) read more
