I asked if I could do a walk-in pedicure, and I was seated right away. The prices were typical, and the salon was clean and comfortable. I was immediately offered something to drink and had a cold water. My pedicure was really deluxe and lasted quite a long time which was nice. I was thrilled and would give this place my highest recommendation.

I had just moved to Washington about a month ago so I was looking for a new nail salon to go to. It just so happened to be a family members birthday recently & they wanted to get their nails done here as she comes here about every month or so and loves it. I got acrylic nails, but I've had my nails done for just over a week now & my nail has already broken off. I assume the nail wasn't put on correctly or as well as the others because although it just broke off, it was lifting at the base before hand as well (starting about 3 days prior). Aside from that my nail tech did not do a very good paint job either. It felt like no care was put into it, uneven, and very rushed. I would personally not recommend this salon nor come back myself.

I love coming here. Great service! Great prices! Julie is my nail technicians ! My friend and I come every two to three weeks.

I love all the people here! For my manicure I always request Khahn (con) and for pedicures I request Peter. They are the most detailed technicians I've received service from. Khahn is always ready to try any unique designs I want and give me extra time to make sure I'm happy with the results. Peter give the best massages and my legs need the extra love

This place is actually insanely horrible at service. The lady that did my nails made my nails really bulky, she didn't let the powder get wet all the way so my nails had white spots on them, I kept asking her to file them in making them smaller. I don't think she could comprehend what I was asking for my liking, the color I chose was out of stock so you guys should consider updating your colors. She used the slightest amount of nail polish, I had to go home and repaint My nails. This is not worth $50. I laughed and thought this was a joke. I will not be coming here ever again :)

I have been going to Diamond Nails for pedicures and manicures for a year and half or so. The facility is clean and they typically provide a complimentary alcoholic or non alcoholic drink with your session. With COVID, they've stopped serving drinks (though that's probably a good thing - for health reasons). They've done a great job making sure that there are barriers between you and everyone around you. The chairs are super comfy too! Be aware that although they take both card and cash, they really do prefer cash.. they have an ATM that won't charge a fee to withdraw from your debit card, so that's convenient. This is a recent change and (I speculate) due to COVID. I didn't have a particular nail person that I went to until recently.. Normally, I'd request one of the guys to do my pedicures because they are super strong and give the best massages, and Helen, Tina, Khanh and Bobby are great for manicures (they're just a few who have worked on my finger nails - I'm super particular about my nails). A few weeks ago I was super lucky to have Sonya as my nail technician and I'm never going to anyone else! She's amazing! Gives great pedicures and leg massages and she did so great on my manicure for my baby shower! I'm back for round two with Sonya (she worked extra hard getting the swelling out of my pregnant feet and ankles) and am still really happy with her work! I would definitely recommend Diamond Nails and won't go anywhere else!

For being kinda full they got my friend & I in quickly. My friend had acrylic on which they didn't remove completely before putting her gel on & you could definitely see it in a few spots. My nails are probably a 6/10 he definitely didn't pay attention to the smaller details but over all it's only gel and my recovery nails. They don't look awful & will do for a week or two. Probably wouldn't go back but if I have to whatever lol

One word... AMAZING!! Ive been here twice now, each time a walk in, and ive always been sat down right away. This last time my friend and I came 30 minutes before they closed, thinking they might turn us away, but they sat us down as soon as we walked in! They have wonderful color selections and the shellac looks awesome and lasts forever.. never had issues with it chipping. Ive only had manis done here and cant wait to try a pedi! Bonus: they give you your own nail file to keep and bring back with you each time.. sanitary for the win!

The set I got at Diamond nails! Soo upset

I've came here before and had no complains, this visit didn't go so well! I asked for a powder dip on my natural nails and it had to be the worst set I've gotten! I should of left my previous set how it was but I wanted to change up the color for the holidays.. the lady who did them was rushing threw mine and made my fingers look like I was eating hot Cheetos and to finish off didn't even do the shape I asked for they look all over the place.. I should of gone across town where I got my last set I'm sure I would of gotten what I wanted!

This was one of the worst nail experiences I've had. They kept "burning" and cutting me every time they took the dip off. She filed my nail down so much that it went to my skin. Not only that but after a day or two the clear coat peeled which should never happen!! They also chipped not long after I got them done and cracked.

I don't enjoy leaving bad reviews but BIG YIKES…read more Absolutely Horrific Experience--Avoid at All Costs! If I could give this place negative and/or zero stars, I would. I walked into this empty nail salon, which should have been my first red flag, but I figured, hey, maybe it's just a slow day. Nope--it was a slow business because this place is a nightmare. First, I was sat in a broken chair that wobbled like it was about to collapse. No menu, no options--just straight to faking the funk of work. The pedicure itself lasted less than 9 minutes (yes, I timed it), and for $60, I expected at least some level of care. IInstead, the technician hacked away at my nails so aggressively that I started bleeding profusely--like, actual blood dripping down my foot. My toenails have been bleeding over a week........And do you think the nail tech acknowledged it? Nope. No apology, no effort to stop the bleeding, just a complete ice out before moving on to the next tragedy. I was in pain, bleeding, and stuck with a nail color I hated. When I politely mentioned I was bleeding and didn't like the color, I was completely ignored. Like I wasn't even there. No fix, no concern--just blank stares. When I mentioned the broken chair, no help. I was sincerely the only customer. It was disgusting. As if this horror show wasn't enough, they rushed me out like I was some kind of inconvenience, assuming I didn't have the money to pay for my service ....mmmMind you, there were still no other customers in the building, so what was the rush?? Maybe they knew they did a terrible job and didn't want to deal with the aftermath. Tbh I'm not sure but I was deeply repulsed regardless. Long story short: this place is an absolute joke. Do yourself (and your toes) a favor and go literally anywhere else. I'm grateful they let me know that my business isn't wanted here. Never again bro.

Unfortunate trip. They weren't welcoming at all. I had my dip nails removed and they removed them…read morein a weird way that took so much longer than soaking them. I then asked for a manicure and shellac paint job. I mentioned there was left over dip polish on nails and she used a nail file to remove it. She didn't even brush my nails. I'm a new mom and 2 months postpartum and was looking forward to finally getting my hair cut!…read more I'm unfortunately extremely disappointed in my haircut experience here. I booked with Hannah online and mentioned I have thick long hair and wanted a chop for summer. I've never been to this salon before, but know from past experience it's important to note thick hair while booking. Their online booking system requires the stylist to "okay" the appointment, so someone must have seen the note about thick hair. At other salons, most stylists will see the note and book out an extra 45 mins..or call to reschedule with an additional block of time. This never happened and lead to maybe the worst salon experience I've ever had? Hannah started cutting my hair, and was a quarter way through before she mentioned I'd have to leave with wet hair due to time constraints. I wish she would have been honest and up front and I would have rescheduled or found a new salon for a cut that would include a blow dry + style. She shampooed my hair for less than 4 minutes and everything just felt so rushed! I was expecting to see another client waiting for her but that was not the case. I was in and out of the salon in less than an hour. She gave me her card so I could contact her if the layers dried funny or looked bad...so off I left with wet hair and a potential hack job of a haircut. I don't recommend this place, I got in my car and cried. I expect to leave a salon feeling beautiful and that just didn't happen!

Nail Salon Horror Story (Perfection Nails 9/7)…read more I've been going to Perfection Nails in Hazel Dell on and off for about the last 5 years, but I stopped going as often since every time I went, each tech charged differently for the same service and the quality was inconsistent--especially if I wanted something other than a basic one-color manicure. Anyway, I decided to go yesterday because it was the only nail salon open near me, and I'd never had a crazy experience there before--just things like uneven shaping or needing a fill sooner than 2 weeks. My appointment was at 1 p.m. for both a pedicure and a manicure set. I arrived before my scheduled time and let the technicians know I had an appointment. I waited about 15-20 minutes before a man called me over to his table. I asked for an acrylic set and a basic manicure (cuticle trim, etc.). Everything started off fine. I hadn't had him do my nails before, but I'd seen his work and was excited to try someone new. He started by cleaning my hands and doing the usual prep. Once he finished applying and shaping the acrylic, he began working on my cuticles. When he got to my ring and middle finger on my left hand, he cut way too much, and I started bleeding everywhere. I was on the phone with my partner using a headset, so I wasn't paying close attention until I felt pain and saw blood all over my fingers. He was trying to wipe it up with a used rag and even attempted to use nail glue to stop the bleeding. I immediately told him to stop and said I needed to wash my hands because that was not a clean or safe way to handle the cut. After cleaning up, I noticed he had taken a chunk of skin off, and the bleeding continued for about 10 more minutes. I sat there holding my finger and asked him what happened. He told me my cuticles were dry. I apologized but made it clear I did not want him using nail glue to stop the bleeding. Mind you, this was the most I've ever bled in a salon. After the bleeding stopped, he continued painting my nails and asked me to check them. I noticed the middle finger on my right hand was crooked. When I pointed it out, he insisted it was just my finger. We went back and forth for a while until I finally asked if he could at least try to fix it, because it was clearly pointing in a different direction than the others. At this point, I honestly wanted to leave, but I still needed my pedicure. Another lady called me over to her station. I had previously gone to Reflection Spa/Nails, and they had done an amazing job--even applying acrylic over a broken toenail on my big toe to even it out. I explained this to the pedicure tech at Perfection, and she said it was fine and that she would soak it off. By then, I had already been there for 2 1/2 hours and just wanted to relax. I put a show on my phone, kept one headphone out in case she needed me, and let her start. There was a bit of a language barrier, so another tech had to interpret at times. Instead of soaking the acrylic off, she just filed it down and then started trimming my cuticles. Once again, she cut too much, and I started bleeding. She apologized immediately, and I told her it was okay, just to please slow down and be careful. She continued, but when she was cleaning under my toenail, the tool stabbed me under the nail. At that point, I just wanted to get out of there. I ended up paying for everything but didn't tip because of all the cuts I got. My reason for posting is to find a new nail spot to go to in Vancouver and to spread awareness of my experience. L

I went in for a pedicure, but when offered a mani I got that too…read more I brought my own base/polish/topper because I prefer a specific brand. They are salon quality. "Kathy" used a dremel tool to remove my old fingernail polish. She used my polish and I left with nice nails. After a few days when I removed my polish, I noticed that there were slices and fissures into my nail beds. The dremel tool must have been turned sideways and cut into my nail. Now my nails are breaking off as they grow out and it is painful. This is on both of my ring fingers but more on my right hand than left. I don't usually visit this salon and can't imagine that I will visit again. So disappointed and frustrated that this happened. It will take months to grow out this gauging.
