Worst experience I've ever had. In just the first 10 minutes of my pedicure, my nail tech cut me THREE times, the third was so severe that a whole section of skin on my toe was filed away and instantly it started to bleed and it would not stop. She didn't apologize and kept saying this has never happened before. My first and LAST time going here. My daughter and friends used to come here but they will no longer come to this salon. This is my third time visiting Venus Nails Day Spa for pedicures. I believe they changed ownership back in September. The pedicure chairs are very comfortable with all the heating and massage functions. I get the BEST foot massages here! I'm writing this review after getting my regular manicure and pedicure here. Overall, the salon is clean, the service is good, and most of the staff do excellent work. However, I want to point out something important: There is one technician the mechan (ifykyk) , whose service is not on the same level as the rest of the team. In my experience, the work felt rushed and lacked the care and quality I normally receive here. If she comes out from the back, I personally request someone else. I have finally found the BEST Spa to get your feet done guys!! This Gal Kat is AMAZING!! She worked on my Bad Toe and made it nice again! The Foot Massage with her strong Hands got all the sore muscles feeling like I had brand new wheels when she was done! She finished up with the Hot Stones which was phenomenal and applied some clear polish. My feet felt much younger and looked that way too!! This place is pretty terrible. First, I got the basic pedicure that was supposed to take 30 minutes - it took 1 hour. It's also supposed to include a hot towel at the end, which I never got. For the manicure, the young lady cut my cuticles and I was bleeding, so she decided to wipe the blood off with her own finger. I included a picture of the manicure that I could've done myself, if not better. There are color gaps at the bottom of the nail towards the cuticle. I had polish on my skin around the nail bed and had to ASK her to remove it. Lastly, when I went to pay, the young lady checking me out gave me the receipt to sign and INTENTLY watched me sign and tip. I will not be back and you should find somewhere else to go. read more

They were nice enough and looks like new owners. We were a walk in and they were able to take us right in. It was clean and the owner was pleasant. My problem is that they were very unclear about pricing. The paper they gave me to "pick" from did NOT match my total at the end. $85 for a little girls toes and nails is a bit extreme to me. I don't mind paying for the work I have done, I just don't like being lied to about the prices. So bummed I was hoping we had found our new salon. Keep looking this is not the jam. read more

I treated my daughter to a surprise birthday mani/pedi on May 2nd! The ladies did not engage with her, only spoke to each other in their language. Which made my daughter very uncomfortable. Then when my daughter would tell them too hot, they would make the water freezing. Not only were they huffing and rolling their eyes, they would immediately start talking in their language again. Now typically a mani/pedi would take at least an hour. So I dropped her off and went shopping for some last minute items. My daughter called in 35 minutes. She had to sit there and work on twisting her body to reach over her body to allow the lady to do her nails while sitting there getting a pedi ‍ Never have I heard of this. You are supposed to be sitting relaxing getting a good chair massage with your eyes closed while getting pampered. So, needless to say I was late picking her up and they had a fit about her not paying right away and didn't really believe her. Saying she had to wait for me. They treated her as if she was lying and told her you can not leave. When I got there I paid ($94.00) which I thought was a bit steep. But my daughter then shows me the burns on her legs. Red patches everywhere. I felt so bad that I was trying to give my daughter a pampered afternoon for her birthday and to find out she was treated so poorly and how much I paid for her to have such a horrible experience.....made me ANGRY. I waited until I was calmer and had a much clearer mind. I would NEVER recommend this establishment nor EVER go back. The only way they can make up for it is to make the situation right. I'm giving this business a 2 instead of a 1 because everyone in there was so nice. I picked this place because it had 4 stars and I saw on their website that their manicures include some herbal mix and other nice products. I was super excited! I get in there and get a MUCH older man doing my nails....which is fine, but that should have been my first red flag. I knew it was going bad when my fingers were put in cold water FOR A MANICURE. They were in cold water less than a minute. I get nervous bc he's about to cut my cuticles and my fingers barely soaked and the water was cold so there's no way they were soft enough to cut! Needless to say, yes, it was painful! Next, I bring up the herbal soak.... they have no idea what I'm talking about. I show them on "their" website, but they didn't even know that was their website burr said that was a good idea. So basically no herbal soak for me. FALSE ADVERTISEMENT. I'm getting shellac....I myself have to tell the man I need another layer bc it looked too thin, everyone else looked and agreed. Then I'm told that the color I picked is mood changing....I was excited about that. My nails did not pick up on my excitement and change colors BECAUSE THEY WERE NORMAL SHELLAC, not mood changing at all! I got a 10 second hand massage and done. While I'm getting my manicure, an older gentleman came in and asked for the foot detox. No one knew where in the world the foot detox stuff was at (after calling their owner on speaker phone and hunted in all cabinets). FALSE ADVERTISEMENT AGAIN. so the poor gentleman left. Needless to say, I won't be back although they're super kind. Sorry! read more

I just got a french manicure and it is arguably the worst nails I've had. The clear part is filled with bubbles and the lines and colors on the french tips are extremely uneven. The women there were nice, but the quality of my nails is awful. I wouldn't pay 20$ for these, much less 45$. I'm super disappointed. read more

This place is freaking amazing. I randomly stumbled upon it when in Vancouver and I'm so blown away by how good the mani and pedi is. I got the lavender scent added and it was so soothing and relaxing. Aside from that the mani/pedi is honestly the prettiest one I've ever got in my life. I'm so stoked, I used to go to downtown Portland for a mani/pedi and screwwww that I am going here from now on. Also I get the gel nails and the color selection they have is amazing. Went in for the SNS nails on a Friday. The gentleman had no idea what he was doing. Seemed confused the entire time. My thumb nail cracked after two days. Went back to get it fixed on Tuesday but they were closed until Friday so I'm out of luck since I left for vacation early Friday. Most of the rest of my nails have since chipped. They lasted for one week. SNS should last at the very least 3 weeks. He also made me bleed on two different fingers and acted like it was my fault. Ridiculous. I'm very unimpressed with this place. I got a gel manicure with cat eye polish and it looks quite awful honestly. The woman cut my finger nails so short that they are exposing the under part of my nail. The polish is messy and uneven at the base of my nail and around the sides. The manicure part HURT. My cuticles were soaked in cold water. The woman had no idea what she was doing with the cat eye polish as it's didn't even show up on my nail.
