What a positive experience! I assumed that it would be awkward for all parties but it was super cool. Very professional but also laid back and easy to chit chat and make the time go by. It is fast and the pain is not bad (and I am a notorious wuss). Most importantly the results were awesome. I will never go back to my previous hair status knowing what I know now. I have been going here about once a month-ish for over a year. I have had a wax done by everyone. Valerie is my regular but if I am in a pinch for scheduling I go with any of the other gals. I have experienced great results by each. I tell anyone who is interested in this service about this place because I truly think it is the best around. One last thing--the finipil is really great. Every interaction that I had with her from the very beginning when I called to talk with her about what I needed with my hair was handled super professionally and in a friendly way. She was fantastic at the consultation part before we got started, and really listened to all of my concerns because I was having some issues with breakage and I've been trying to resolve this problem for six months. I needed some color help and also have gray roots, so it was fantastic she was able to help me. I know this is gonna be a process since my hair is longer and needs to grow out to take care of some of the damage that's already there, but I feel really great about the plan that we put together. I went ahead and put a reminder in my calendar to book an appointment with her in three months so that I can get my split ends trimmed on a regular basis. I'm already looking forward to going back!

She cut my hair EXACTLY how I wanted it. My main objective was to get rid of the bulk - while keeping the length. My hair is SUPER THICK - like thicker than a horses tail!!! She listened to me, got rid of the bulk; and styled my hair beautifully. On top of that -- she was SUPER QUICK! I was in and out in 30 minutes with the PERFECT haircut. I honestly found a gem with Yolanda - she is great and fully worth the $45 for women's haircut. Some tips: the location is hard to find but it's right next to or I guess up the road but adjacent to Jiffy Lube off 68th. The parking is limited. She accepts walks in, but call ahead!
