Beware of adding any nail art or issues with your nails! For a regular manicure or pedicure this is a decent place. However my updates specifically are focused on gel nails and nail art along with their policy and service. I got my mani with nail art on Dec. 20th. Just a few days after, my finger nail chipped horizontally. Two days later it broke off taking most of the nail and art with it. A few days after that, so around only 10 days after getting them, my middle finger paint and nail art lifted from the front, chipping off. On the same left hand. Two nails next to each other could be coincidence but to me indicates something wasn't properly applied. I called today (2 weeks after getting them done) and they said within a week they will fix for free and anything after that is on me. With the holidays I will agree ideally I would have called sooner but I was out of town so no way they could have fixed the two nails anyway. The front desk girl didn't seem to care much about thinking through the actual situation instead of just repeating someone told her while I was on hold. Bummer. In all my years of getting nails done I haven't had issues so quickly after a service and especially with any nail art up charges. The place was gorgeous and very clean and the staff was friendly!! if you have to only get your nails removed I would suggest going elsewhere though. I got my nails done for a wedding recently and had to get them off for work, so came in here as this is so close to me. After soaking and shaving down the nail repetitively, my nail bed got so thin that it hurts to wash my hands under warm water. Which I could see making sense if I had been getting my nails done for a long period of time but like I said I just got my nails done once for a wedding so my nail bed should not have been this weak / brittle. She asked me if I wanted them filed or clipped down and I said just to file them, but I didn't know that wouldn't include a buffer so I left with my nails completely scratched up. While buffering and adding a topcoat at home was super simple, the pain I feel from how thinly she shaved them down / the crack thats now in my pinky nail was REALLY not worth the $20 removal. read more

I've been here before for acrylics and they did great. Recently I visited to get a fill in on my builder gel nails - I live out of town now and go elsewhere so decided to stop by as I was in a pinch. These were the absolute worst builder gels I've ever had. Each nail lifted within the week and caused horrible pain. I had to go to another place and get the set fully removed. I got a pedicure and the person threw the trash from the gel packet into the soaking tub while my feet were in it. She also cleaned off her hands in the feet soaking bowl after she wiped her hands directly on the floor for a spill of her gel. The callous removal barely exfoliated and there were spots missed with the gel polish. Upon returning for a second pedicure w/ the same person, it definitely was NOT the same amazing experience as the the first. I'm very disappointed & struggled writing this. I was the last appointment of the day & it was VERY rushed. I explained I had two toes that hurt from the dead dry skin around the toes that usually gets removed during a pedicure, as well as dead skin being exfoliated on the heels. Those two things did not happen. She used a sponge but only on the bottom of my foot w/ a couple FAST strokes. I also asked her if she could make my toenails square so they wouldn't get stuck under the dry skin as they were, or create ingrown nails but she only did a couple nails like that. Even the nail polish application was botched, not applied to entire nail. The pictures I included was 3 days after my pedicure. She was in such a rush that I was completely ignored & I'm just absolutely shocked because our first meeting went so incredibly well. Ive been raving about this girl during the pedicure & after. I was so overjoyed finally finding someone that did an amazing pedicure. What went wrong? I came in one week after to speak to the owner & he had zero support, no apology. I was chastised for booking an appointment at 5pm on a Saturday, as if it was an excuse for the rush, when the place was empty, except for maybe 7 customers. He was talking down to me, telling me that if I had purchased a more expensive pedicure that she would have taken her time, giving me a better service. I said you offer different pedicure packages, it doesn't matter which one I select, your employees should do the complete job I'm selecting & paying for. I can't believe an owner would tell me that I'm NOT going to get quality service that is offered! He actually said to pay more money! So I left w/ my two toes still hurting & no correction on my nail polish. Paid a lot of money to go on a vacation for a week and within 24-48 hours I had chips and whole fingers missing nail polish! My index fingers had glitter and the whole polish came off and I didn't have time to go get it fixed as I was in NEW YORK. For a wedding and had to go to this event with chipped polish... it's horrible and then getting home saying they can't fix them because it's been 7 days. I recently moved to Camas and needed to find my new mani/pedi spot. I found another place (LeO's) with really high reviews and so I booked a next day appt before a work trip. Just as I was leaving my house for the appt, they called me and said they didn't have anyone. Oof- not great! I did a quick bout of yelp research and decided to take a chance on Queen B. I called and they said they could take me right away. Phew! I arrive not expecting anything and was so positively surprised. The place is clean, bright, and airy. It looks like a place you'd instagram. There was a massive selection of nail polishes and services. The menu had a tiered list of pedicures and I went for the middle tier ($50) where you choose your own scent experience. The nail tech was very thorough and precise - it was a great experience. I usually go to a different salon but they were closed. Not a lot of nail salons are open on Sundays so this place was so great for my daughter and I as she wasn't having the greatest day and I wanted to make her feel better. We got in towards the end of the day, same day appointment, no problem which was so nice. Louis took us both and got to know us and our nails. Very personable person! We both needed acrylic fill and my daughter needed a few replaced. After really looking at my daughter's nails, turns out the other salon I go to didn't use very good product and that's why her nails were lifting and breaking. Louis offered to replace the whole set, no extra charges. Wow! So nice! We both have only had acrylics starting about a year ago so that one salon is our only frame of reference. And our nails have never looked so good! I didn't even know they could look this good! They were there working on our nails past closing to get my daughters nails exactly like she wanted. I got a cool purple cat eye and I was expecting them to have that cat eye line (which I don't really like) but they look almost holographic. They honestly look super incredible! I was not thinking and I left there wishing I would have tipped more and still kicking myself for not! So, we were going here for a while. Initially, I really liked this place! The vibe is fun, and there are lots of techs. You can probably get a pretty decent walk-in appointment here, if you try! Unfortunately, over time, I found them to be REALLY hard on my nails. It's a bummer, because their techs tend to do good work. I actually came out of there last December with a super fun set of winter/holiday nails, which I would love to re-create this year. Once I wanted to take a break from gel/shellac/dip, etc., my nails were HORRIBLE. The worst, probably, that I have ever had. I think they are just too rough with removal techniques. I am no nail pro, for sure. But I think there is just too much sanding down, pulling off, etc., going on. I am going to a competitor currently, and my nails are super strong, even when they remove the gel. So, it can be done! They took me right away without an appointment, were absolutely fine with my request for a normal polish mani & didn't try to upsell me. My nail tech was fast and the finished result is great. I really hate writing a bad review, but here it goes. Let's start with the positive: the inside decor is spot on. The staff was very nice and there was no language barrier. Now with the bad: my cuticles were not worked on at all. The key to having a long lasting manicure is pushing those cuticles back and getting that base ready. The tech just jumped into gluing the tips on. I also noticed that they reuse their sanding bands for the bits. Which is kinda yucky. A little bonus is that my tech didn't have an elbow pad, so your stuck with your bare elbows on marble for 1hr. She wasn't paying attention to the application of the top coat. If I hadn't already written a positive review about them, I wouldn't be writing this update right now and would've just let it be. But they benefit from my positive review and word of mouth to family and friends, so I felt I should probably update this review after recent events. I'll start off by saying that Madelyn's recent review in September resembles my recent experience with them. The main difference is that Louis chided her for not picking a nail tech and sticking to them, whereas I was religiously loyal to Queen B Nails and Louis specifically. I was a client of Louis for what would've been five years straight as of next year. I never canceled, never was late, and never no showed. I always booked months in advance, I always paid and tipped, and I never made myself a hassle. I was extremely gracious and said thank you every single time Louis did my nails (and toes) and Bree did my eyebrow wax. Continued loyalty and respecting their time was not enough, unfortunately. I had my (unbeknownst to me yet) final appointment with Louis & Bree on November 30th. I checked in and noticed my wax was set for 5 pm and my fill was set for 5:30 pm. This was new, and usually it would be my fill was exactly 15 minutes later so I was confused. I noted it, had my wax with Bree, then waited only a few minutes past for Louis to finish with his client. Louis did my nails and did great as per usual (I will never downgrade his ability and talent no matter how I feel), and he even mentioned booking another appointment the next time I come in since my next appointment I needed would've been in February (which they didn't have the books ready for yet). My mother came in to pay and inquired about the 5:30 pm fill time in a calm way, genuinely asking if it was an error by the receptionist (which we presumed -- mainly because they keep having new receptionists and some are learning and make mistakes). This was a bad idea as both Louis & Bree became very defensive and started talking about how "accommodating" they are for me and started harping on how it was only a few minutes late. However, if my fill was set for 5:30, Louis wasn't late at all. Both myself and my mother tried to convey this and that there was no issue with that, especially since Louis is never late, but they kept repeating the lateness part. I just wanted to know if it was an error on someone's part or if it was a new change. I didn't mind either way, it was just communication to figure that out. Louis kept saying I could come on different days to get both services separately, but I already specifically pick a day they both work and book in advance to ensure it's not a problem. It's also not realistic to make someone drive up on two separate days for services they could get in one day without issue. If I was booking last minute, I'd understand, but I was not. After hearing how the conversation went, I made sure to text Louis that same night to ensure he knew I had no issue with any "lateness". I said he's always punctual and it's not a problem. I apologized if things were misinterpreted and clarified I just wanted to make sure that in the future I wouldn't be sitting for 15 minutes in between, as my appointments are already late at night. I also offered to change my wax with Bree to 4:45 pm and my fill to 5 pm if that's what they prefer to ensure no gap (if the gap was intentional and not an error -- nobody seemed to clarify this part, so I couldn't tell if it was defensiveness because it was someone's error or if it was because this was how it was going to be and they didn't want to be questioned on it [though they hadn't communicated this to me at any point and that's the only reason there was a discussion about it in the first place]). Imagine my surprise when I wake up to a text saying that Bree & Louis no longer will service me as a client anymore and canceled my appointments. What makes it worse is they both know my dad had died only two months ago, and I had gotten a back procedure only two days prior to my appt and I still showed up. They were also at my graduation dinner back in April or May, so it wasn't simply I'm just a random nobody client. I told them in response that I felt it was pretty harsh to cut me as a client after the loss of my father and doing this during the holidays, too. Especially since I was a loyal client for four years straight. All over a mere question. The "accommodating" was reciprocal, I had come in early for some appointments at Louis's request many times to help him out whenever I didn't have a scheduling conflict (even as recently as my previous appt November 9th). It's not "accommodating" to me when I booked with Louis years before he stopped taking new clients and I'm booked months in advance and always show up, imo. He was the one who offered to start doing pedicures for me as well I don't know, things have changed here lately so maybe this is for the best. I'm going to respect their decision and move on. read more
