They renovated their facility to make it modern. It is very clean and beautiful and spacious. It would be nice if they also served some water, juice or champagne like some of the other local places. Unfortunately my person didn't blow a fan at my nails and some of them got ruined afterwards but I think it's the person I got that time not representative of the entire place. I read a lot of reviews before picking a nail salon and think there's a lot to love about Queen B Nails. First off, it was really easy to call and schedule an appointment. The salon is small, but super cute. They have a zillion different colors and choices for all sorts of designs. It was a very busy shop, decorated really nice with a modern feel, a bit cramped. My technician was very nice and listened to what I wanted. However, I wasn't super happy with my nails. My cuticles were ragged and I had a cut which was put right into the nail dip powder. I realize, technically, that is not a violation and how it is taught, but it made my ick factor go way up wondering what might possibly be lurking in that powder. Also, too much damage was done with the electric nail drill, so when I removed the nails, there was that 'ring of fire'. All in all, I think the salon is clean, well managed, and observing all the licensing rules, but for me, I won't return. read more

I had an amazing experience here ! I had an appointment at 3pm and was able to get seated in the pedi chair right away. Tiffany did my dip mani and Vivian did my pedicure. They were both so sweet & did an amazing job! The overall vibe here was amazing, very clean and modern. I've had a really hard time finding a good nail place for a few years, but I really enjoyed Queen B and definitely will be coming back ! My only issue was that the price ended up being more than it said on the menu, and I was hoping to see a breakdown of the charges on my receipt, but there was none. They are all very good and super customer focused. The level of detail when you ask to have nail art added is very good. I was very excited to try this salon after it came highly recommended by a friend. I've been twice but will not be returning. The salon is very gaudy, but it's not my place so whatever. It's clean and everyone there was very nice. I came with bare nails for a gel manicure. The nail tech was really kind and did a great job. She gave me 3 coats of color (she offered, I didn't ask but of course didn't say no) and my nails looked amazing afterward. I paid cash for my nails because a card will cost a bit more (which is fine, seems normal for places nowadays). I decided to come back about two weeks later to get my nails redone, was able to get in the same day I called and I was excited for another good experience. I still had gel on my nails from my previous appointment and apparently it was hard to get off? The nail tech commented on that. She redid my nails and didn't say much which is fine by me- I don't mind the silence. My nails did not look as good as the first time. Small bubbles appeared on my nails and some of the gel didn't even apply close to my cuticles so it was like I had grow out already after just leaving the salon. Maybe it was the color I chose but it didn't look that great. When I got to the front to pay, I used my card and was expecting a CC fee and then was told it was also an extra $5 because they had to remove my gel. I was never told there would be an extra fee and figured it was all included in the $40 manicure. Granted I haven't had my nails done in a few years, maybe rules had changed but I've never been charged extra. This wouldn't be an issue if I was told ahead of time, but to spring it on me after the fact is annoying. I don't mean to be petty over $5 but id imagine you'd tell someone beforehand. Not only that, but the same friend who recommended this place was confused when I told her about the fee because she had never been charged. She went recently, after my last appointment, and told me again she was not charged an extra fee to remove her previous gel. So I guess if you come here they can pick and choose and charge you whatever at the last minute. I definitely wouldn't come back here and I've had better experience with a nail salon down the road. read more

I hate to be the one to write a bad review on anything, but I think everyone needs to know the truth about this salon. I've been coming here for a few years on and off and I usually always tend to book with the owners Louie or Bree. Louis has always done a great job with my nails. It's been a little bit since I had an appointment for a fill with this salon, I booked a fill appointment today with a nail technician that wasn't one of the owners. The receptionist got me in very quickly within the next hour of when I called, which was great! I get there and as this technician was doing my nails she kept rudely, interrupting our conversation to remind me that I need to aim my eyes on the TV behind her so I could be more "focused". First of all I have never had this complaint when I have had my nails done. I know for a fact that I was very still. She kept moving my elbows in a position that would help her do my nails. I also told her that I wanted my nails to be a traditional square shape, not the modern way of square. She was very rude telling me she had no other choice but to go with the shape that she insisted on doing. I didn't want to argue with her because I didn't like how rude she was being with me, which made me feel like crying. I then watched her to continue to do my nails, she never pushed my cuticles back (which they always do). She never chipped away my nails that have lifted in some areas. Also, when she applied the solution and acrylic, my nails felt like they were burning. Which has never been normal for me. She then got up and walked away while my fingernails were under the lamp to dry at her station. It was very awkward just sitting there by myself. After my appointment was done, I went up to the counter to pay the technician, and also still tipped her. I thought to call the salon after my appointment and speak with one of the owners about my experience. I spoke with the owner, Louis about my my experience. He then interrupted me to tell me "Well Maddie I've done your nails before and you do like a certain shape and you have also made an appointment and canceled on and off and what I suggest is that once you find a nail technician, you should stick with them." I responded back and said "I do have a nail technician that I usually stick with but as life can happen and either my technician cancels, or I need to cancel due to life times I do at times, need a quick fill." he then told me "Maddie, I will do your nails one last time from here on out, what day works for you?" I then was trying to figure out a day that works for me he rudely interrupted me and said "Honestly Maddie I am really busy right now, I will have to call you back." I said that was fine. In my opinion, I felt very attacked and the subject that he was on had nothing to do with my experience with my appointment today. I felt like he was just trying to get me off the phone, he didn't care to hear the concerns I had. And at this point, I think this is my last time I will be returning to this establishment. The first appointment, which I thought I was getting a mani/pedi with acrylics, turned out to be just a mani/pedi(miscommunication between receptionist and I). So there was still dead skin around my toenails after the appointment. My nails, which I left bare so I could get acrylics at another appt now, were left different lengths, one broken, hang nails, and dead skin. I was charged full price(and I tipped), but after speaking to owner, he agreed money off of a full set acrylics and design. The day of my acrylic appointment, which was two days later, I received 4 phone calls from them. 2 confirming and 2 about changing times. I had gone to the Instagram and chosen the designs I wanted. I knew what I wanted. I was hesitant because I didn't recognize the name of the manicurist who would be doing my nails, but whatever. I told her about the dead skin and said she might need to get it, but she didn't. I did show her the state my nails were left in when I had the original manicure. Fast forward to applying nails, she got glue all over my fingers. My nails were superglued to my skin on the side. While filing, she cut open the side of my left pinky. While applying the clear gel base, I noticed bubbles and said something but she brushed it off. Most of the nails have bubbles and one has fuzz or a hair painted into it? She kept getting polish on my skin and a few nails have finger prints. Now, I wanted hot pink nails. One nail to be cheetah and another to be sparkly crystals. She made up some reason about the sparkles/crystals but I said "no, I want them". At this point my skin hurt from the super glue, I was frustrated because she wasn't doing the sparkles/crystals like the picture I wanted and I just wanted to be done and leave. I was over it. What I wanted and what I got(with sparkles/crystals) was disappointing. These are my VERY first acrylics. I know there shouldn't be glue, there shouldn't be polish on skin, there should be bubbles or finger prints or gobs of stuff under the nails. While $10 was taken off, I paid the same price as I did for the mani/pedi. Of course I tipped, because that's who I am. I just wanted to leave, so I said nothing. Both times were horrible experiences. They cost more and have great reviews too, I expected more. My friend had just got her nails done and they were beautiful! So I wanted the same. I was glad that they were able to get us in as walk ins and fit us in. However, the good stops there. My daughter and I got the same thing done- full set of acrylics. She was done in about 30 mins. I took an hour and a half for mine to be done. And when they were done it was pretty bad... They look like I've had about a couple weeks worth of growth, but these pics are from the day I got them done. Wrong size nail for my nail bed and not even up to the base of my nail. I've been a client of Louis & Bree for years now and can't imagine having anyone else. I know that every time I come here I will feel welcome and can relax knowing I'm getting the exact shape & designs that I want. More often than not I leave with them being better than I ever expected I make sure to always get a pedicure the same day as my fills, so every 3 weeks I'm making a full day of it. Kim has been my pedicure technician lately and she always gives the best leg massages! I'm fairly picky with the shape of my nails as well and she remembers how I like them every time. I really appreciate how clean the salon always is and how they always take care of my natural nails. They won't peel any remaining acrylic off, you'll always soak off between new sets. I was really excited to try this place, since it was my first time going I was expecting my nails to be WAY BETTER. I had an appointment at 2pm for a full set and pedicure. I even came earlier, just for them to have me waiting 30 minutes. After I was waiting the only guy who worked there offered me to sit down & I did.. (I should have just kept on waiting) after he was done doing somebody else's nails, he put on the SKINNIEST tips on my nails..... without even telling me he had different ones? i would have not gotten these tips if he would've said he had different tips. The place is absolutely stunning and modern looking, with neon signs, and pink all around.
