I LOVE oakberry after discovering it in London a few years ago. To see a location in Bellevue - I was shocked and excited! This one is located in the Lincoln square food court, and there is plenty of seating around. I got a small build your own with all the fresh fruits, chia pudding, cacao nibs, goji berries, and added pistachio cream. The flavor of their acai is incredible - it's so flavorful and is what keeps me coming back. All the fruit tasted fresh, and the cacao nibs are so yummy. While the pistachio cream was really rich, the flavor felt slightly off to me. Nonetheless, this will always be one of my go to acai spots!

It's not cheap, but we got the fruity and crunchy acai bowls. It is filling, but because it's "pre-opening" it's hard to say what this place will be like once it actually opens for real on their grand opening and beyond (seems like we were here during soft opening). Decent acai, but I still prefer what I got in Hawaii more.

I'm an acai bowl lover, I used to make one every day. So when I go to places, I look for bowls that I feel like I can't replicate myself. Love their unlimited toppings and chia pudding. The acai base, however, wasn't a great consistency. It was a little too liquid, maybe it's because it is dispensed rather than blended. I also feel like while their toppings are great, you don't get as much as you would from other places because it's more of a cup shape than a bowl. Given the price, I don't know if I would go out of my way to come here again, but it is worth a try

Super tasty new Acai place in Lincoln Square South Food Hall. Really friendly owners and staff! We ordered the Tropical Beats with passion fruit, acai and mango. It was delicious and so refreshing. You could really taste the fresh mango pieces so yum!

Great place to get açai bowls in Bellevue Washington. The service was so great here. I highly recommend and I would come back.

Excited to see that they opened Oakberry in the area! I love açaí, and the only downside is that it is in Lincoln square. The açaí was fresh, it paired nicely with the fresh fruit!

The Original Bowl (Bowl - Classic Size (12 oz) Look how much I had to take out to even try to eat it.....

My bowl was WAY too full, they couldn't even give it to me without the toppings already spilling out onto the counter. I asked for a top, and it would barely even fit with everything overflowing. They handed it to me dripping açaí off the sides. I wanted to eat it in my car, but at the risk of spilling all over my car, I ended up having to take some out to even attempt to try and eat it. Somehow the granola was soggy, and the bowl was just unappetizing to eat since it was incredibly messy. I threw it away. I gave a 15% tip, but my tip should have actually been "don't overfill the bowls to where you can't even put the lid on."

    Acai parfait. Soooo delicious

We love new Oakberry in Lincoln square. The Acai are the best. Prefer the one with peanut butter. Chocolate one was over sweet. Original great too. Add granola and coconut and mango. Yumm. Friends got smoothie and raved about that too. Just go. It's awesome

Top-notch açaí! the best in the PNW. I cannot process dairies well, but this is my go-to dessert.

Unfortunately, the Mongolian Beef was quite bland. It was stir-fried with vegetables, but there wasn't much flavor or anything particularly memorable about the dish. The Pineapple Mushroom Seitan was along the same lines, but the pineapple gave it a little more flavor and made it more enjoyable. One thing I really liked was their sauces. They're flavorful and can make a noticeable difference when paired with the right dish, so definitely use them! The mango sticky rice was decent. I liked that it wasn't overly sweet and had a good amount of sugar, but the mango itself didn't have the best texture. Overall, the restaurant has a nice atmosphere, friendly service, and a creative vegetarian menu, but the dishes I tried could have used more seasoning and flavor. The sauces were definitely a highlight.

I rarely visit vegetarian restaurants, so I ordered based on the pictures on the menu. I wanted to try the Purple Yam Soup after the server confirmed that it would be very fulfilling, but they came back and said it wasn't available that day. We still enjoyed all the other dishes we ordered, though. The mango smoothie was also very refreshing. The restaurant was clean and cutely decorated. Parking was easy since there was a parking lot.

Bellden Cafe has it all, we've already gone several times I'm obsessed with the ube mochi waffle, it is soooo delicious (not too sweet, incredible texture and flavor). Their matcha is also lovely, I got matcha with rose syrup both times I went (so immaculate). I've turned into a bit of a matcha snob, so always looking for some good options and they hit the spot. The service is incredible, literally the people working there are the nicest people everrrr. Even on a super busy weekend morning, they were so accommodating, so friendly and even remembered us from just one visit! Really fantastic team, they really make the whole experience even MORE lovely. And the interior is jussssst so gorg!!! The decor is immaculate, there's lots of space (even when it was crowded), would be a perfect place to work from during the week, even their outdoor tables were very clean and cutie. Absolutely love, this has become a new staple of ours since moving to the east side! brunch girlies rise!!!

When we walked in, most of the indoor tables were taken, but we got lucky and snagged one right as a couple was leaving. They have a pretty extensive drink menu of coffees, teas and smoothies alongside a food selection of açaí and yogurt bowls, breakfast sandwiches, waffles, toasts and salads. Prices do seem rather steep for food (particularly for the waffles), however, this business has a great philanthropic mindset that helps explain the price points. Whenever someone orders a specialty drink, they donate some of the proceeds to a charity. + LATTE w/ MISO MAPLE syrup ($5 for 12 oz. + $1 for syrup): The coffee itself was so good - robust, with a perfect balance between the espresso and milk. I was so excited to try this unique syrup flavor, but sadly, I didn't taste it at all. No umami from the miso and not even a hint of maple. I'm not sure if this syrup is just extremely subtle, or if it was simply forgotten. I really hope it's not the latter, since I paid extra for it. + MATCHA CHIA PUDDING ($13): The bowl may look small, but it was deep and the portion turned out to be filling. A Greek yogurt base was beautifully layered with matcha chia pudding, a strawberry-rhubarb compote, granola and rose. I loved the compote which had the perfect sweetness of ripe strawberries and a little tang from the rhubarb. The matcha pudding was on the milder side, but smooth in consistency, contrasting nicely with the crunchy granola. My friend ordered the Açaí Bowl and really enjoyed it. The serving looked reasonable for the price as well. Overall, the two of us had a wonderful time here catching up over a healthy brunch! Tip: They have two small rooms available to reserve for parties of 4-6 if you're looking to secure seating for a group.

Oh my goodness, if you get anything at DERU, GET THE CHOCOLATE PEANUT BUTTER CAKE PLEASE…read more It's been a few weeks since I've gotten it and I still think about that cake. (I haven't justified buying a whole cake for myself, but I truly want to--and am tempted to do so) The food is great and I'd love to go back. I went on a Monday, so it wasn't as busy as it would be on the weekend. The servers are kind, and you typically order from a QR code unless you're having a hard time (and they'll help you!). Cute little place with good food and informal setting. Their dishes are pretty nicely thought out…read morebut oftentimes a number of them will be "out of stock" even leading into dinner time, but this is understandable if that's because they're aiming for freshness. What is not so great is that they've replaced human interaction and paper menus with a QR code based menu (annoying but becoming more common) and the only way to order is also through your phone (this is the part that is not common and really sucks). Been to DERU twice. First time my phone wouldn't let the order submit after polling everyone to put what they wanted into the "cart". Eventually some poor fellow who worked there had to use his little iPad and we all had to repeat ourselves to recreate the order after we'd already done the exercise on my phone. Second visit same thing- this time we had to recreate the order a few times on different peoples phones in our party until one of them could finally submit the purchase, and then they immediately started getting emails they weren't expecting as an outcome, their cell phone number was on our order ticket- so beware when you think you're just providing your credit card info- you're actually giving much more than that. We gathered for dinner to spend quality time together in real life and to get away from our phones but because of DERU's ordering system we instead spent the first 20 minutes of our dinner all on our phones. Then during the meal people would finish their glass of wine and want another- phone comes back out! This happened throughout the meal because, shockingly, people don't finish their glasses of wine at the same time, so all in all someone was pretty much on their phone close to the entire meal. Quite antithetical to the goal of human interaction and enjoying a nice dinner together. If they got rid of this ridiculous phone based menu and ordering system I would double my rating AND my tip. But at this point I may not come back for awhile.

Both dishes were quite tasty and the presentation was excellent but Kimbap was cold (I guess that is okay but it should really be served just slightly colder than room temp) and the sides that came with Rosé Teokbokki were premade stuff from Young Ocean or another vendor, not housemade. Also the sauce for Rosé had "Korean Corn Soup" in it. I love the Korean Corn Soup but it's a cheap instant stuff you can buy at any Korean Grocery. Service/Venue/Ambiance - 3 stars. Simply put - not memorable but not bad either. Place was clean but very blank. It definitely does not feel like a place that should charge the price they do (more to come on this later). Food came out pretty fast and the server was okay. The space was pretty big and we didn't have to wait to be seated (Sunday 11:30am). Price/Value - Negative 5 stars. 20 dollars for what we got is quite ridiculous. Terrible value! Half the food we ate wasn't even made in house. On top of all this, they charged 80 cents more than the listed prices on the menu!! Wow and why? They ask for tip too. There is nowhere on the menu that says they charge 4% service fees. This is such a scam imo. Restaurants that charge service fees! Please stop. Unless the fees go to pay the wages of the employees, it should be illegal for businesses to do this. Overall, you can definitely live without this place. Food is pretty good but you really deserve better than feeling you got ripped off plus the extra 4% when paying the bill.

Food - The California Roll ($12) was a masterpiece--expertly crafted with an optimal rice-to-filling ratio. A light brushing of sesame oil on top elevated the flavor of the entire roll. The Rose Tteokbokki ($20) was not to my taste; I prefer a more traditional version. The cream and cheese made it a bit heavy for my liking. However, the toppings, including bulgogi gyoza and shrimp tempura, were deliciously crispy and freshly fried. Excellent Service - The staff is exceptionally polite and attentive.

I'm a pescatarian and I still crave a good breakfast sausage based sandwich! So I preordered online and it was ready right at the pick up time. The first time I ordered I almost went through the wrong entrance so be sure to enter the doors facing Snoqualmie street. It's a co working kitchen that looks clean from what I could see, you buzz their bell and they bring the food out to you! I was a bit unsure about the mash up of the vegan cheese/egg and hash brown all on an English muffin to be honest. But surprisingly the flavors flow well all together. An extra side of the chipotle aioli is a must for me! In general I like extra sauce for just about everything. But with all the somewhat starchy ingredients it can be a little on the drier side. So I suggest ordering extra sauce to balance the textures out. My boyfriend who is a meat eater wasn't a big fan of the eggs but did like the sandwich without them. We were both very full! You could definitely eat half and save the other half for later. Though it's a little "pricy" for just one sandwich. With all the ingredients, you're paying for a full breakfast just stacked on one sandwich! And you're also supporting a local business, which I love to support our community. Next time I'd like to try a Classic Impossible Burger!

French fries: getting it hot and fresh, salty goodness. First thing I eat after I pick up my food. Now, I ordered online on their website and in 20-30 min my order is ready. They have a tiny parking lot but usually you can find street parking. The entrance has a display of all the restaurants and you push the call button and someone will come out and bring your grub. One of the times I ordered, I came late to pick up my food and assuming it was the owner, he said my fries got cold and if I waited 5 min he could make me a fresh batch and gave me ketchup too. That was so kind and thoughtful and very much appreciated. Overall, I love supporting small businesses, and the food is delicious. How can I not support my fellow vegan viet business owner.
