Much of the hot soups just had waaaaay too much stuff in them. But adding the red bean soup by itself without all the foo foo stuff maybe 2 years ago was very welcome, albeit it's buried deep in the menu to find. This was very welcome to see and their red bean soup was noteworthy for repeat visits. However, in the last 2 visits, not sure if they changed something in the recipe, the red bean soup is now TOP TIER. Top Tier for USA that is, and well, that's where we are right now. It's DELISH, pick 2 sides, so far always peanuts, and either almond pudding or black sesame ball have been just smile oozing good. So good it's almost always on our minds after a dinner somewhere that we have to stop in at the Bellevue Meet Fresh right after to finish the night. It's so gooooood! Came here on a sunny Friday afternoon and tried their $35 dessert set menu as part of Seattle Restaurant Week special offer! What a deal it is!! The SRW $35 deal comes with 2 drinks, 1 dessert, 1 mini signature, and 1 GIANT shave ice treat!! Got the strawberry and mango combo shave ice and the fruits are nice and fresh! One caveat - because the fruits are fresh, they won't be always on the sweet side and could occasionally be 'tart' (which goes well with the ice cream and the lightly syruped shave ice! If you don't like any tartness from the fresh fruits, I'd recommend ordering the brown sugar shave ice instead!! There was no wait at around 2:30 pm in the afternoon, and the service was fast and friendly! Also appreciate the ambiance and the sound tracks playing in the store!! Highly recommend!!! read more

We came here since we were in the area and it's been a while. The place is pretty spacious and there wasn't that many people so it wasn't loud or anything. Ordering is through the app but there are people there to help if needed. They were pretty nice. wow i'm just really disappointed in how this franchise has gone downhill. the place felt unclean, unsanitary, and honestly concerning overall. while waiting for my order, i watched a customer return his waffle because it didn't taste right. the employee, who was on her personal phone and not helping with the busy line, actually took a bite, yes, TOOK a BITE (in front of the customer) of the returned waffle and said she'd keep it and make him another. then it got worse. an employee who had been sitting at the tables on his break, on his phone and drinking boba, came behind the counter and grabbed cups from the inside with his bare hands without washing them first. only after touching the inside of the cups did he put on gloves. this was wild to witness. either the franchise owner needs to seriously rethink their staff, or this location shouldn't be operating at all, because this clearly doesn't meet basic food safety standards in washington state. read more

I don't even know where to start. I guess I can say that I generally like Meet Fresh, just not this location. We went in and ordered our usual dessert. Nothing unusual, nothing fancy, nothing we haven't had before. The presentation was fine. It looked like the photo. Took a couple bites of the toppings (boba, jelly), then got to the shaved ice. It was not shaved ice. It tasted more like crushed ice. About a third of the way through, it turned into solid ice. And no, we did not wait too long to eat it or take forever with it. There were ice chunks throughout after that. I just lost my appetite to keep going. I asked my husband to get some hot water from their thermal dispenser. It was cold. Tried to get someone behind the counter's attention, but they did not seem to care. What is wrong with this place? It was too late to ask for a remake or refund since we were already halfway through. We were just done for the night. I wanted to go home happy with a dessert I know and like, but it turned into a disappointment. If ordering at the kiosk, it is card only. Parking is shared with other shops. Nevertheless, to say, I will not be coming back to this location. read more

Sweet potato taro ball: medium ball made from yam powder, has a distinct taste that's more obvious than taro balls. 3. Small taro ball: basically a smaller version of 1 without the taro paste inside. 4. Rice ball: small white balls, slightly softer than taro balls. My preference: 4321 (descending).
