    Honey lavender

Yay we have yet another Salt & Straw to enjoy, this time in downtown Bellevue! One of my foodie friends was craving ice cream after eating in Factoria so we got here around 8pm to a decently long line that thankfully didn't stretch outside on this slightly cold day. As with other locations, there's only bench and wall seating near the front entrance, and standing tables that denote where the line begins and ends. Staff at the front let you try samples of any flavor that is on their menu. I already got to eat all their limited flavors at least once (for the May 2026 season) so I had samples of the cinnamon snickerdoodle, strawberry honey balsamic with black pepper, and the honey lavender flavors. I eventually settled for the last of the three. Their take on honey lavender reminds me of a London fog. No, lavender is not always associated with London fogs but this ice cream somehow reminded me of one anyway! Lavender taste is powerful in this single scoop, and the ice cream itself has a smooth consistency that has been consistently throughout other locations of this chain I have tried. My foodie friends telepathically both got the coffee and love nuts, probably because I recommended it from a past visit here through a Yelp Elite event. It's just ice cream but honestly I'm always down for sweets! I would come back again once they have their new flavors rolling out.

I got to check out this Salt & Straw on opening week and really enjoyed my visit here. The store is located across from Bellevue Park and is visible from the street. I got scoops of a few of their limited edition flavors as well as grabbed The Tacolate - an homage to the chocotaco, which was SO good. The staff were also very friendly and helpful with explaining the flavors and I was appreciative that they were patient and generous with samples too.

What a perfect spot to grab ice cream after shopping at the mall or enjoying the park across the way! The freckled mint chip was delicious! I didn't even realize until writing this that it's vegan. Fooled me! Perfectly creamy and the perfect balance of mint and chocolate. The staff were some of the best I've seen! We saw one server helping a group of 8+ with a smile on her face as if it was no sweat. Shout out to Cas! She was crushing it. Everyone was just so friendly and welcoming. Miraz helped us checkout and was a delight. The space has limited space and no seating, so best to get your ice cream to-go in a waffle cone!

Yay!!! Finally open in Bellevue. Parking: you can park in the Safeway parking area or diagonal from it, Macy parking lot. When I got there, it was pretty quiet. Restroom: one gender neutral restroom, code required. They have their new May Monthly Flavour, woohoo. So I got these for my flight: Jasmine milk tea almond (monthly special) Strawberry tree lesches (monthly special) Chocolate Bakba (last chances scoop) Hazelnut cookie & Cream (V) Also sampe other ones too. Wish they have the Guava one , saw it online. Apparently they only have it in Florida. The gal that served me was super sweet, very knowledgeable of the ice creams flavours. Definitely will be back.

Salt & Straw just opened in downtown Bellevue, taking over the former Starbucks pickup-only location across from South Lincoln Square and Bellevue Downtown Park. Parking: No dedicated parking--use South Lincoln Square or Safeway nearby. It is walkable from various nearby attractions. I attended the pre-grand opening event, and as expected, there was a long line (about 1.5 hours). That said, the staff kept things moving once you reached the front. Everyone was cheerful, welcoming, and efficient. I ordered a flight: Jasmine Milk Tea Stracciatella, Strawberry Tres Leches, Saffron Milk w/ Wildflower Honey, and Pistachio Ricotta Cannoli. The first three were creamy and flavorful--my favorites. The saffron flavor wasn't for me personally, but still worth trying if you like more floral notes. Bonus: My flight was prepared by Tyler Malek The vibe was lively throughout--lots of excitement, friendly staff, and plenty of happy faces (especially kids getting their ice cream). Overall: Great addition to downtown Bellevue. Expect crowds, but worth checking out--especially for unique flavors. TL;DR: Long wait (~1.5 hrs) during the pre-opening event, but friendly staff and unique flavors made it worth it. Great new downtown Bellevue spot--just plan for crowds and finding nearby parking. Walkable from various attractions.

Salt and Straw is now scooping in Bellevue! Stopped by for their pre-opening and the line was wrapped around the building! They have some great innovative flavors and their staff are so friendly and knowledgeable about all the flavors. Got a scoop of strawberry tres leches and saffron milk w wildflower honey in a waffle cone.

Couldn't wait, she had to just go in on her ice cream! lol

We almost didn't go in because of how long the lines were BUT glad we did because we didn't even stand in line very long. Very organized which makes it faster and efficient. Places like this with long lines i don't mind standing in line because they are quick and of course the ice cream was yummmmy! I had the Chocolate Brownie ice cream. Loved it.

I love Salt & Straw, and usually go to the one in Kirkland. I'm glad they opened this location, because it's closer to me. I've came twice at night, and it's nice that they close at 11pm, but still pretty busy at nighttime. I love all the variety of unique flavors they offer. All their ice cream is so yummy. My favorite is still the Salted, Malted, Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough. And I just decided on my first visit here that my second favorite is the Strawberry Honey Balsamic w/ Black Pepper. Staff is super friendly, and service is excellent.

All three had the same fresh coconut base, but each had a completely different flavor. The mango version was refreshing with chunky mango pieces, though I personally wished it had a little more topping. The black sesame had a rich, nutty flavor that would be perfect if you're a fan of black sesame. My favorite was the tiramisu, it had a generous, flavorful tiramisu layer on top that paired really well with the coconut. I also liked that the desserts weren't overly sweet or heavy, making them a nice option when you're craving something light and refreshing. The staff was friendly, helped us choose flavors even though we arrived close to closing time, and the service was quick. I'll definitely be back to try more flavors. One helpful tip: if you're driving, you can park in the garage next door and ask the staff to validate your parking.

YEZI COCONUT DESSERT @ BELLEVUE MAIN STREET (not the mall)…read more Parking is street parking only, but I would recommend turning onto one of the side streets before reaching the main road since you're not really able to pull over directly in front of the shop. Parking is free, though, and I didn't have too much trouble finding a spot nearby. This location is definitely one of my favorites compared to the Bellevue Square location. It's much more spacious inside and has plenty of tables available if you'd like to sit down and enjoy your dessert. The staff were also super friendly when my mom and I visited, which made the experience even better. I've seen this place all over social media, and as a big coconut fan, I knew I had to give it a try. We ended up ordering the Red Bean Coconut Dessert and the Plain Coconut Dessert. Our total came out to around $20. The plain coconut dessert was about $8, while the desserts with additional toppings were around $12. They even added fresh mango on top, which was a delicious touch. The coconut pudding texture is incredibly smooth and creamy, making it a really refreshing dessert. Another nice bonus is that you get to keep the glass jars they serve the desserts in. I also noticed they have a selection of bottled drinks available to take home as well. Overall, I had a great experience at this location and would highly recommend stopping by. If you're a coconut lover, this is definitely a spot worth trying.

I especially enjoyed their new seasonal mango cheesecake bingsu and apple pie toast. They may have the best bingsu texture in town! They use a self-service model for food collection, utensils/water, and bussing dishes - which most diners are good about, but the staff could do a better job with wiping down tables and making sure tables are cleared and utensils are topped up. I was there for over 2 hours and they ran out of metal spoons and paper napkins by the time I went to order a second drink (about an hour in). Aside from this detail, they offer a great third space for folks to hang out in. I saw groups of friends, families, and co-working people come through, and everyone seemed to enjoy their visit.

We are both a fan of ice cream so we were excited to find this place. The menu is pretty simple which makes ordering simple too. There are several ways to get your soft serve but we decided to get the soft serve with the upside down taiyaki which was so good! You can choose your soft serve with just one flavor but they offer a mix too. You can also choose what filling the taiyaki has. I chose the strawberry and matcha mix soft serve and then I chose a matcha cream filling. You are also able to add toppings after and I went with a Biscoff topping. The soft serve was not overly sweet and the flavors blended super well. The taiyaki was also nice and crisp and the cream filling was perfect. Overall, one of my favorite desserts I have had in a while. The service was also super fast and super friendly. There were not any seats inside so it makes it hard to eat there but we just enjoyed the ice cream in the car. I am excited to return soon!

YEZI COCONUT DESSERT @ BELLEVUE SQUARE…read more Good catch! Here's the corrected version with it described as a dessert: This location is inside Bellevue Square, which makes it a super convenient option if you're already shopping at the mall. If you don't want to go into Bellevue Square, they also have another location just a couple of streets away in downtown Bellevue that's a standalone shop. Honestly, I'd recommend either location depending on where you are. I've been to the downtown Bellevue location before, and while I liked it, parking can be a little difficult since it's mostly street parking and the area is pretty hilly. At the Bellevue Square location, parking is much easier. You can park in any of the mall garages or outdoor lots for free. It's first come, first serve, but weekdays are usually not too busy. Weekends tend to be much busier, though you'll probably still be able to find a spot. The shop itself is very small and can feel pretty cramped. It's difficult to move around when there are a lot of people inside, and the lines can get a bit long. There are only a few tables available for seating. I stopped by with my mom to try the Mango Mochi Coconut dessert that I'd been wanting to try for a while. It came out to around $12. The dessert itself was really good, I loved the coconut flavor. It had a smooth, pudding-like texture with soft mochi pieces that made it unique and super enjoyable. One downside was the customer service. The staff didn't seem very friendly, and everything felt a little rushed. I also thought they had a rewards program here, but apparently it's only available at some of their other locations, which was disappointing. Overall, the dessert was delicious, and this location is incredibly convenient if you're already at Bellevue Square. That said, I personally prefer their downtown Bellevue location because there's more seating and the staff there have always been much friendlier.
