This was a fantastic first visit on a cold and snowy day. I walked in craving the original and was sad to discover they didn't have the sour green apple flavor until I ran into the grapefruit flavor. The combination of the original plus the grapefruit is to die for. You must try it. What I discovered here is that they also have cakes with pebbles cereal which is an amazing combination. That crunch does it. $48 for the cake in about 6 to 9 dollars for the ice cream depending on how greedy you are. And this is a good time to be greedy because this is a probiotic yogurt. Carson was excellent behind the counter and Sophia was busy keeping everything wiped down and clean. The space was very clean. Great place to come on a snowy day. And it was packed. Hadn't been to menchies for years, but decided to come here with friends. The staff were really friendly, and gave us as many sample cups as we wanted. The store was pretty packed. We come here for the sugar-free frozen yogurt and it is always excellent! Customer service is always amazing, the employees go above and beyond and are very friendly. When we got there, we were looking for the sugar-free yogurt and they had a new flavor, blueberry. The employee kindly asked me if I wanted to try it and handed me a sample cup. So nice! I really didn't like many of the flavors, save a couple. Flavors are true to what they say they are. This location ALWAYS offers 2 non-dairy flavors. And each flavor offered says what potential allergens are included (dairy, gluten, nuts, etc) so it's really easy to make choices without having to hunt down an employee (who then usually doesn't to own and has to take a lot of time to look it up in a binder). If you check the website, note that not all the flavors are available at the store. They simply list all the POTENTIAL flavors available. You have to call the store to know what they offer. They don't post it to any social media. They have a ton of toppings to choose from like every single frozen yogurt place. I have been to this location about 8 times, and it's been very clean every single time. Be sure to join their rewards program since you get rewards pretty quickly. Also, ask for sample cups. Felt price was reasonable." (She paid for her own) ***really wish they offered compostable cups and spoons since that is what every customer uses. They do use small paper sample cups that would likely breaks down easier in garbage than the waxy paper cups and plastic spoons. Employees asked them if they wanted sampling cups and how many they needed. Smart to keep the sample cups hidden away and the yogurt pumps in plain view of the employees so customers don't sample too many! Also it would be nice to have vegan and gluten free options that aren't sorbet but using coconut milk so those who cannot eat dairy or gluten have some options. I'll admit that I didn't feel that they adhered to COVID guidelines as well as they could've. The small shop was pretty full. I know the machines are self-serve, but it just felt off during these times to touch all the levers that other people had just touched. You sanitize before you go through the line, but I feel there could be a better solution... Hmm... Besides that, the service was great and the yogurt was even better! It's hard not to completely load up your cup. I think I tried at least 4-5 different yogurt flavors. I loved them all except the chocolate banana flavor, which tasted a little stale to me (it had a weird taste, but maybe the flavor just didn't agree with my tastebuds). All their toppings are in small plastic containers with lids, which made me feel that they were "cleaner," but it felt so wasteful. :( Overall, we had a good experience and I've been craving it ever since. I finally caved in and I wish I would have taken her sooner. They've always had hand sanitizers but they upped their game by putting their toppings in little containers. The actual icecream flavors on this particular visit might have been a little lacking, but I wouldn't hold 1 visit against them, usually you'll find 4 or 5 flavors to suit your taste buds. The store was clean and well organized. The wife was happy to get a fun, rare treat on her birthday, and we happened to have a $5 credit on my Menchie's card, so it wasn't even that expensive! You don't get to put only a few sprinkles on, you have to buy a whole container of it which is weighed.
