My youngest son has been obsessed with empanadas ever since he tasted them at an event we attended…read morea while back. So, I decided to take my dear son to Gringtinos to eat some empanadas, because this Latin-ish restaurant has several different varieties on the menu. We sat down, looked at the menu, and my son wanted a cheeseburger, instead. Oh, kids! You gotta love them, right? (Right?) Luckily, Gringtinos has a kids menu that includes a cheeseburger, as well as a quesadilla and boneless wings. My son said that the cheeseburger was the best that he's had in a long time, so there you go. If you want a great kids' cheeseburger, visit Gringtinos. I was there for empanadas, so I got us a few: barbacoa, chicken, ground filet and street corn. We loved all of them, but the ground filet was probably our favorite (it was basically ground beef). We also ordered the yucca fries, which are served with white queso. They were like regular potato fries, but more earthy and dense. One order can feed two or three people -- they're very filling, with an interesting texture. I'm glad I ordered them. The service was OK, but we had to ask for plates, even though the server saw us dripping empanada juice all over our napkins. (It's like, hello! Yes, plates would be good. Bring us plates.) I'm also not a fan of servers not writing down my order, and instead, trying to memorize everything I say. I'm not impressed! It makes me stressed! Please, for the love of everything that's holy, just write down my order. It's truly OK to write things down. I promise. The construction around Gringtinos is murder, but don't fret. There is parking in the back, off of a gravel road. Once you park, enter through the back and you're good to go.

Aside from the bar, the restaurant wasn't busy. The service was lackluster and inattentive. We…read morewanted to try it because of the reviews praising the food. That was now our experience. We thought the meals tasted very average and were a bit pricy. The staff was nice, but we won't be going back.

I have only been here a few times, but it always seems busy and hard to get a table. It's obvious…read morethat a lot of the people who come here are regulars. I've been looking for a simple buffalo chicken sandwich. You used to be able to find these everywhere- just a simple chicken breast tossed in buffalo sauce. I saw a few things that were similar on the menu, but nothing quite suited my craving. I asked the waitress if they had a basic buffalo chicken sandwich, and she recommended something from the menu called "the boss". I took her recommendation and ordered "the boss" with chicken, pepperjack cheese, and tossed in hot sauce. It took a while for my food to come out, but when it did, I was impressed. My sandwich and fries were both piping hot and freshly made. The sandwich was much larger than I expected- almost like a big tenderloin. The sandwich was not tossed in the buffalo sauce as I had ordered, but there was a fair amount of hot sauce on top of it. The chicken was excellent- very big and juicy. The breading had the perfect amount of crispness. I was very happy with the taste. I would go back for this again, but maybe try during their "off hours". Dinner always seems jam-packed.

Oh my goodness, we absolutely love Nylas. This has become our go to special date night spot when we…read moredon't want to head downtown but still want something that feels elevated and special. The service is always impeccable and the atmosphere is so cozy and inviting. It just feels like a place you can settle into and actually enjoy your night together without any rush. The food is truly out of this world. I hate mushrooms with a passion, but their mushroom bisque is probably one of the best soups I have ever had. I never thought I would say that about anything with mushrooms in it. The steak served on the hot plate is also such a great touch and makes the whole experience feel even more special. And the not so famous yet chocolate cake absolutely should be, because it is divine. We always leave happy and already talking about when we can come back. We also love the Italian house they own right next door, which is another great option when we are in the mood for something different. If you are looking for a perfect date night spot that feels cozy, thoughtful, and consistently delicious, Nylas is it. We never regret going.

I do not give out five stars lightly, and if I could I would add a sixth star to this review…read more Our dinner group met up at Nylas on a very rainy Tuesday for the early bird dinner ( yes even cool kids do it) , large group of eight. Our table was ready and the Manger himself took us to our seats. This adorable three story red barn was dripping in charm and homey vibes. We sat on the second floor, we didn't know it had stairs or we would have asked for a first floor , a few of the group are not great on stairs, but as a team we made it work. Plus note is that there is a bathroom on the second floor. Speaking of the bathroom it did feel very much like a airplane bathroom, a litte Claustrophobic. The early bird dinner is the way to go, three course for a great price. We started by getting the deviled eggs and the mushroom soup. Both were amazing, the soup was so creamy and the eggs had just the right amount of firmness. I had fried chicken which was the best I have had in the Indy area. My husband had stroganoff and he felt like it was made by someone's granny. I also tasted the pork belly, and it was out of this work good. Desert was simple individual cheesecake with sauce, nice small size. We will be back and will try the rest of the menu.

Everything from the Winter Market, a Galentine's Day Event, tours of the distillery and tastings but especially the food!! The Whiskey drinks and cocktails are excellent as well. They even have cool merch and a distinctive vibe just a fun place and somewhere I enjoyed bringing friends from out of town. I will continue to support the brand and look forward to more events at The West Fork Social House in Fountain Square. Best of luck to the owners and the staff during the transition.

The distillery created an experience that went beyond just great whiskey,it gave people a place to connect, relax, and make memories. The Stave was a cozy spot inside West Fork Whiskey to sip crafted cocktails, while the Mash House offered food that made it easy to spend an entire afternoon or evening at West Fork. Even if whiskey wasn't your drink of choice, West Fork was a welcoming destination for everyone. Whether you stopped in for dinner, drinks, a tour, or rented the event space for a special gathering, there was something for everyone. While we're saying goodbye to West Fork's Westfield location, thankfully this isn't the end of West Fork Whiskey. You can still enjoy their cocktails at West Fork Social House in Fountain Square.
