I'll start off by saying that the food was decent and service provided was good. Servers were nice but service was really slow. The Saba and ikura nigiri were my favorite. We asked for a menu and were provided with a paper menu and pencil so we could choose what we wanted. We immediately selected what we wanted and gave it to the server when she walked by. We ordered several hand rolls, nigiri and rolls. She told us that the regular roll of spicy salmon would come around on the belt but she would have the chef make the other items. It took a while for the hand rolls and nigiri and we waited for the spicy tuna roll that my daughter ordered and another specialty roll. We ordered two spicy hamachi handrolls but were brought one and one spicy salmon hand roll. We figured that they got confused when we had asked for a spicy salmon roll and two spicy hamachi hand rolls. We were fine with that but then we asked if the other rolls were coming and the waitress then told us that we could take them from the belt.... she could have told us that from the beginning so we wouldn't have waited 15 minutes or so. We had to ask for our bill a few times before we got it. For three of us it was about $70, and we felt we could have had better sushi at Akai Hana. We can't say for sure if we will be back. Wanted to try based on the reviews. Usually go to Sushi on Tatum for this type of Sushi. Went in high expectations and was put off by the smell of the place from the start. We needed to order veggie options for one person in our group and the service wasn't good. I had to speak up to get help and there were VERY few people eating there. First and last time for me. Me and my son tried it on Monday night. We ate off the conveyor grabbing the last plate thinking it would be the freshest. Right away I noticed the food was room temperature but continued eating. Between both of us we consumed about 7 plates and 3 beers. We were so excited to try this place out because we love getting sushi, especially revolving sushi, as a family. Staff was friendly. Place is clean and nice. Sadly the food was just ok. Sushi was room temperature. The egg rolls were cold. The kids chicken teriyaki we ordered from the kitchen right when we sat down arrived 20 minutes after we were all done eating. A crab roll we ordered (was not on the belt) took a very long time to arrive as well. Overall a very disappointing experience. O2Sushi is a fantastic conveyor belt sushi restaurant with amazing staff and a fun environment. I live within a mile of this restaurant so I try to visit at least once a week. All their food is healthy and fresh and honestly, I feel better after eating here than anywhere else I go. The great thing is, the food is already out and ready to go, so you can decide what you want as you watch the sushi/drinks pass by. There are also other items on the menu to order. I was so excited to get a new sushi place nearby. I've eaten there about 6 times and is so-so. I've ordered takeout 3 times and this last time made me not want to return. They have a $10 minimum. My dentist is in the same area and I wanted an order of miso and spicy tuna hand roll for lunch after dental work. . No happy hour. Also saw so many dishes on conveyer before closing. i love sushi and have been making my way through the phoenix sushi scene. we saw this place had 4.5 stars on yelp so we had to try it went with my boyfriend for dinner and certainly had some missteps... 1. conveyor belt sushi - not quite my thing, so that was my own fault for coming (however i have been to others in the past and it's been fine) 2. we came at 8:30 on a saturday night but apparently they close at 9pm and i definitely felt rushed to get out and not order anything that wasn't already on the conveyor belt; but also a restaurant that serves dinner closing at 9pm on a saturday to me is crazy but i'm from DC 3. i live near sushi on tatum (another conveyor belt sushi place) and they don't seem to have any issue making rolls fresh for me when i order, but here i was told if it's on the conveyor belt to get it off the belt which i wasn't a fan of... especially considering it was the end of the night! plus they were even out of a bunch of rolls that were supposed to be on the belt 4. i stuck with california rolls which were fine, the chicken katsu roll was interesting but it seemed weird to eat fried chicken cold in a sushi roll, my boyfriend's salmon nigiri was made fresh and that was good, he also got udon noodles which were fine but not a huge portion plus of the evening was that it was an inexpensive dinner since i basically only got california rolls. i do think it's more expensive than sushi on tatum so i'll just stick to the conveyor belt sushi restaurant that's closer to me read more

The best Sushi in North Phoenix says Mayumi (my native Japanese GF). Mayumi has a very discriminating taste and high bar for excellence in defining Sushi quality. We have not found a better place to get high quality sushi at a very reasonable price. O2 is now our "Go To" place to resolve our sushi fix. read more

Ordered here two days in a row after trying it with my boyfriend that first day. I got my orders to go and each time the food was packaged beautifully and looked even better to eat. The employees are really kind and greeted us every time we walked in. All their rolls were delicious and I'll be making this place a weekly spot.
