They don't honor their warranties. I won't be back - it important that car parts stores stand behind their products

I rented a battery for a CPAP machine for camping that ran out of juice in a few short hours leaving my boyfriend to gasp in the middle of the night. When I called for a refund, Steve spent a considerable amount of time defending himself and putting everything in writing in a long email to avoid a losing any $$ instead of a simple compromise. He charged us full pop after he got the battery back, claiming to have tested it. Which no one couldn't verify. It's a shame that he spent all that time quibbling over $130 instead of focusing on any kind of customer service. Not someone I would want to do business with again. If the operate this way, they won't be in business much longer anyway.

So I would not be able to buy backup batteries from Dell. But what might work was an external battery/power source. This is precisely what The Battery Geeks specialize in. Since this computer was so new on Dell, even Dell was not prepared to answer questions as to Voltage, Amps, plug inner and outer diameters. So I was lucky that Steve had the patience and interest to sleuth this out with me. In the end, we were able to determine that Dell had designed an beautiful computer (the XPS 15 Touch - 9350) that was a serious power suck. He had a $300 external battery but it would be sucked of power within an hour ... and I would need 6 of them to cover the 6 hours of extra battery time I needed. Normally, a high capacity computer battery will cover you for 3 hours and cost you ~$150-$175 each. Sadly, the only solution was to return the computer to Dell. But Steve spent an hour being very helpful and informative. He knew I was looking for a reasonable solution so I could keep this computer. He wasn't able to sell me anything (not his fault) but, the almost-customer service was awesome! He knows his battery solutions!

I took it in and was told the adhesive gave out from heat. They supposedly repaired it, but the same issue happened within day of the initial "fix". I took it back and was told they didn't have the part I needed and it would take days to receive the parts. It was in fact a swollen battery. The guy there zip tied my phone together and asked me to come back in three days. I noticed some lines that appeared on the edge. He said that was from the battery going out. Strange, but I'm no expert. So I called Batteries Plus to see if they had iPhone batteries. Guess what?! They do! AND they repair iPhones. I took my now zip tied phone (done by other shop) to Batteries plus. Upon arrival I was advised that my phone did have swollen batteries AND my LCD had been cracked. My level of upset was at the top now. The guys there were amazing. They fixed my phone in less than 20min. No fluff. Very reasonably priced. I really wish I knew before I went to that other hack that they repaired iPhones! Hopefully this will help someone else.

I was also that guy who no longer needed to wear a timepiece. Fast forward to Spring 2023, and It was time for some home cleaning. I opened up an old box I found in the closet and there were my watches. They truly brought back so many memories when I found them. Each one has a very special meaning from a special period in my life. Over the last month I decided to start wearing my watches again. I took the one that is the most important to me to Batteries Plus, for new life. I was so pleased with the value, friendly service and efficiency that I've taken my other watches in too. Now I wear a timepiece just about every day and I don't have to grab my phone out of my pocket for the time anymore. It really is nice to just turn your wrist over for the time of day. The Genius Bar at Apple told me it could not be repaired and I would need to replace the Logic Board for $850 or "just buy a new one." A local (Orange County) 3rd party repair shop, after having it for a week, told me it couldn't be repaired. I then went to Reddit for help and suggestions. There were several referrals to Rossmann Repair Group. I contacted them through their online contact form. They immediately messaged with a few more questions and then gave me the necessary details to send my device to them in Austin. I did so - of course, the holidays slowed things down a bit, but by the second week in January, I received word that my lap top had been successfully repaired, losing NONE of my data. Amazing! The cost? A mere $459 which includes shipping back (USPS) to me, signing at delivery. I did have go pay for shipping to get it to them. Totally worth it to me. To insure safe and speedy delivery, signing upon delivery, to them. I paid about $89 for UPS, not including double boxing and bubble wrap. So, in total, I paid $638, for shipping to, repair, shipping back. I didn't lose ANY of my data. I am sooo happy and thankful to Rossmann Repair Group. Thank you!!!
