Now I've had the car for awhile (12 years, only owner and I know all of the services done) however it just passed the state inspection and was serviced recently too with no issues. Kenneth, the gentleman who assisted after hearing about the light disregarded my comments and immediately said it was either the battery or alternator. And that's what he was going to check. Ok homeboy, I know that's not the issue so go ahead and waste your time. Surprise surprise when he tested the battery/alternator it was perfectly fine. He had to go back in to get the diagnostic machine I told him was needed. No major alerts, but a sensor was showing concern. Not sure if I wasn't listened to as I was a woman or they treat everyone with the same lack of confidence.

March 21st 2016 I took our Element in to the Goodyear at 907 E 41st St Austin, TX 78751 We had a leak in the front drivers side tire. The West Lake Hills location had looked at the tire previously and told us if it continued to give us trouble to bring it in and have it replaced. As it was covered by the insurance. I have worked in the service industry for over twenty years. Had the pleasure of working in management for Marriott. Communication and people management are a passion of mine. It's very rare that I am unable to accomplish what I set out to do with everyone happy in the end. I hope this helps you to understand the wall of resistance I was met with and that I am not just looking to complain. CJ had no interest in what I needed. From the moment I walked in the door he was dismissive and rude. He interrupted me as I explained what was wrong with my vehicle. When I attempted to explained what the other Goodyear location in Bee Cave told me he cut me off. "I don't know about some other tire place in Bee Cave. You'll have to get the number" not bothering to offer that the Goodyear location in West Lake Hills is on Bee Cave Rd. Once I looked it up he said as much. As I stood there shocked by his terrible lack of service I watched him treat other customers nicely. I was so confused. Then it struck me what was happening. I was a woman. This was the first time I had ever experienced this. He was able to treat the few other male customers with respect and switch to impatience and irritation with me in a breath. I kept a smile on my face and did my best to win him over. I calmly waited while they checked the tire again. I did not insist that they replace it as the other location had said they would. CJ gave me a condescending "there's nothing wrong with your front tire. But, your back tire was low." and sent me on my way. I had just put air all the tires that morning. That front tire had been down to 15 and I'd made sure all the others were okay. June 12th Goodyear 2824 Bee Cave Rd West Lake Hills, TX 78746 I let a lot of time pass before finally getting this taken care of. Honestly I didn't want to deal with it. It was easier putting air in the tire and worrying about getting a flat than thinking about CJ and potentially having to deal with someone else treating me that way. Eventually I asked my husband to take the car back to the West Lake Hills location. I feel a bit cowardly for not taking it myself. This location was great. I like to believe they would have been great to me. They kindly changed the tire. They also discovered a plug in that front tire. A plug that was not in the records. We have never had the tires looked at or worked on anywhere else. They also informed my husband that there was no record of the vehicle being looked over at the 41st St Goodyear. Why CJ wouldn't document the visit is very strange. It is sad that CJ feels whatever it is that causes him to treat women this way. I hope he can get the help he needs. Until then it is very risky having him in customer service and especially in management. I will not be returning to Goodyear.

After reaching home, I noticed that the DOT date code showed 0924 - which implies that the tires were manufactured in the 9th week of the year 2024. By that math, the tires for which I paid full price are about 18-months old !!! Now the store manager has asked me to come by again on Wednesday at 10am and has promised to get me real "new" tires. Moreover, the TIRE PRESSURE MONITORING SYSTEM is now flashing on the dashboard which requires a visit to the Range Rover service center. Hadn't expected this from a trusted name like Goodyear and I'll have to say my trust levels are running low with them. Deeply disappointed !

The neighborly thing would have been to put up a sign saying "No Radio parking. We will tow." Instead their towing company booted every car in the lot a few minutes before bluegrass ended at Radio. Putting up a sign would have stopped people from parking there. Instead this is costing people thousands and thousands of dollars to get the boots taken off. You have to question the motivation.
