Called today looking for a mani/pedi and was pleasantly surprised to get an appt for later that afternoon. Mariya did a wonderful job. I can be a bit squeamish about pedicures but I have no complaints about the job she did - gentle yet thorough. Nushka sat next to me in the pedi chair and had her polish changed and she struck up a conversation. All in all, everyone was very pleasant. They are a bit expensive...I think it was $74 before tip (no gels no wine). In Portland, I generally pay $70 including tip and wine at a non-Asian salon (Asian salons are usually cheaper). The salon gets good marks in cleanliness as well. I will definitely go back. read more

I really enjoyed my treatment for waxing and pedicure in Nushka's Salon! Nushka the owner of the salon did my waxing and Jerimi took care of my nails. Everyone in the salon were welcoming and nice and fun to chat with! Waxing was fast and much less painful than I expected and at the end I got to drink a delicious cappuccino that was made in the salon. The only thing that would be great to change is the price, which I think it's a bit high. read more

This place is excellent and they are really educated in their art! I had a facial this afternoon with Nushka and she is fully knowledgeable about skin issues. I also had a massage with Ivan. I happen to be trained in massage and body work so the difference between someone who knows how muscles, ligaments, tendons, joints work and someone who has just memorized a massage routine is very obvious. Ivan knows his art and is very talented. I plan on making appointments whenever I am in Eugene. read more

Nushkas spa has the most relaxing enviroment. All the girls are curtious and professional! My gel manicure and pedicure last for most of the month. They know me by name after only one visit. It does not smell like chemicals and I am a big fan of the all natural products. If you want a personalized experiance go to this spa. Nushka's Spa is a very special place. I can't recommend it enough. I feel like I am in Europe every time I step into her world. Nushka goes beyond what an American clientele expects, she is generous and kind and very knowledgeable about her practice. Her facials are unlike anything I have ever experienced and I have been to several spas around the country and internationally. Her products are always based on the finest natural ingredients and her touch is absolutely sublime! I always leave feeling like i have done something incredibly good for myself, not only for my skin but for my soul. She is incredibly professional, her place is spotless and in short she is simply a wonderful person to know. I sometimes go there just to feel better about the world in general. Ivan gave me an excellent massage! He has a very fluid, connected touch with some joint manipulation which is felt deep (but not too deep) and profound. As I tend to go to women for bodywork, Ivan made me feel comfortable and safe. Give him a try it may be the best massage you ever had. read more

My mom and I were staying in Eugene the night before my surgery. I needed some TLC and thought a pedicure would help and my toes would be pretty for the long recovery. I was sooooo right. Stephanie was very caring and thoughtful and made my toes look amazing. She has a very gentle touch and is so pleasant to spend time with. The polish is the icing on the cake. Stephanie uses a special brand that has no toxic smell and stays looking new for weeks. I Love it! 10 days after my surgery we went back right after my follow-up doctor's appt. My mom had a pedicure with Stephanie (she's very particular) and she treated me to a much needed facial. Nushka was just the right person to help me get through the healing process. Since I couldn't use my right arm I needed lots of help with my skin and eyebrows and I just needed to feel "normal" for a while. I found out Nushka has a nursing background which made perfect sense since she seemed intuitive about what I needed. I feel blessed to have found these lovely people who genuinely want to help others look and feel better. read more

I've been to Nushka's twice for Brazilian waxing. This is by far the cleanest waxing studio I've seen so far! Claire is highly skilled at what she does and works efficiently and smoothly, so that your experience is as pain free as possible. She chatted comfortably with me the whole time, and it wasn't awkward at all! She's extremely sweet and makes you as comfortable as possible. One other thing that makes Nushka's the best - I have highly sensitive skin, and this is also the first waxing studio where my skin hasn't been affected negatively. They provide a lotion that's available to buy after your waxing (I definitely recommend, your skin will thank you!) and the waxes they use are gentle, and their equipment is extremely clean. Nushka is likable and has a fascinating life story but I felt a little deceived after my waxing experience at this quaint Eugene spa: I scheduled an appointment day-of (great). When I arrived at the spa I noted that the towels she used on the table were slightly sketchy-looking but she assured me they were clean. Though I mentioned on the phone and in-person I was looking for a bikini wax, during the wax itself she asked if I wanted a little extra taken off the top. Sure, why not; it's typically included as part of a bikini waxing operation. At the register, however, she charged me for a French wax ... which is more than I was planning on paying. (I wish there was some way to standardize waxing "design" and definitions ... can someone just create a laminated sign with illustrations and nomenclature, pleeease?) Alas, I ponied up, but wish I'd been clearer (or she'd been clearer?) re: what I was paying for. To end on an up-note: She does offer a discount for first-time customers -- I believe it was 10 or 15%. Not as good as European Wax's offer but still a nice incentive. read more

My gel manicure started to fade after only one day. The staff is friendly, but I would expect the polish to last longer than a day for $35. In the future, I will go elsewhere as my experience was unfortunatly pretty lack luster. read more

This is my spa :) I love going there. It's cute little, clean and bright place. The girls are very professional, sweet and friendly - they always make me feel very comfortable being there. I love how they use very high quality products, most of them from Europe, and they all smell delicious. The technology they use for nails is amazing - my nail polish lasts for 2 weeks, on my real nails, no fake plastic extensions!!! And i work in a job that I'm constantly in water. I very much enjoy my facial treatments i get there - very relaxing and cleansing. Besides my skin feels great for days after the treatment. I haven't used their waxing services but as sweet and caring as they all are I'm sure waxing is a lot less painful than it sounds :) They run different specials all the time. I also love how they ALWAYS offer you a beverage while you're there - coffee, tea, a glass of wine! You MUST check out this place! I don't think you need to have appointment, but it's probably better to make one because every time i go there they seem busy. read more

Nushka's Spa is a jewel that is tucked in among shops and places to eat. I get the best pedicures there from Brandy. All the women I have met there have treated me wonderful. I left feeling like a princess. I had my first professional Brazilian wax done here and it was a great experience. I was a little scared and was not sure what to expect. Nushka was delightful. I had the worst brazilian wax experience. The lady double dipped the wax applicator she used on me, in the wax she would use on someone else. Not very hygienic, I don't even want to know what else is floating in that wax. She used hard wax for most, and then switched to soft wax which is a no no for that area. For 50 dollars it was not worth it. Very painful, 20 times worse than the brazilian ive had at a different place. Shouldnt have been that painful. read more

I have only had my brows tinted here twice and my lashes as well but I am very new to Eugene. Great service and great expertise.
