She was very sweet and not like others I've been too. She did my nails in about 40 minutes. Michelle did a massage after that was really great- also way better then I have had at other places. She took great care of me and I'm so grateful for her. I really needed this treatment. Bathrooms very clean, the space was clean and very beautiful and comforting. The trickling water sounds and light, calm music was great, I loved this about Michelle's shop. It really helped me to relax and enjoy some much needed self care. I can't wait to got back and get a pedicure. I'll do an update on the gel manicure after a week or so to post another image to show quality.

They were friendly and careful with my hands which I really appreciate!…read more Pros -only nail salon in Eugene that hasn't torn up my cuticles and nail beds!! -quick service, we made an appointment and they were ready right on time -the nails are cute, appropriate thickness and the French is really crisp and symmetrical -the shop was pretty clean and it was peaceful/quiet and seemed well kept. -there were no unexpected charges Cons -absolutely did not get what I asked for. I asked for an American manicure (first photo). What I got: regular French (photo 2) I even double checked at the beginning with the tech to make sure they had natural tips but she still brought out a bright white and I had to ask for a more natural color. -they did not have me wash my hands or brush off the undersides of my nails at all, so I left dusty (picture 3) -this meant it wasnt until I got home that I had a chance to see the undersides- they are a mess!! Really chunky with glue AND both my pointer finger tips (gel x) are not flush with the nail at all. They're definitely going to fall off, which sucks because they're the fingers that get the most use. (Picture 4) -the sidewalls are kind of bad too (photo 5) Overall: Its not the worst manicure I've gotten in Eugene. I think that I could have done it at home and at least I would've gotten what I actually wanted, and I wouldn't be out 90$ with tip. But I really appreciated that they were gentle with my hands and nails, and I thought the service was friendly. While I wish I would've gotten what I asked for, the manicure I have looks good even if I'm concerned about its longevity. So far I would say it's the best salon I've been to in Eugene but still not quite up to my standards.

Cici came out and I was offered water and a very friendly conversation while my nails were trimmed and filed before being painted. I was actually so pleased with the natural shiny pink that was supposed to be the base for the French manicure that I actually decided just to go with two coats of the pink base, which they told me was called "marshmallow." They also showed me a couple of other styles of nail color that I test out in the future. I wasn't there very long; the skill level was very high. They have a nice bar area if you want to hang out with the girlfriends before it's your turn. I think Queenie was the name of the other staff person. The two of them were very hospitable and I look forward to returning in a couple of weeks. The manicure was just $35 with the shellac removal being an extra five dollars. If I've gone with my French manicure it would've been a total of $45. So prices were actually very reasonable. Skill level very high. Highly recommend!

I warned Owin of a possible allergy and we continued the manicure. Well the morning after--I woke up with extreme rash around all my nails and it turned into small itchy water blisters that burst and itch more. I then was stuck having to drill off the manicure I paid $50 for the NIGHT before. Literally. So now I'm manicure less and am in horrible pain and discomfort. To make matters worse it is now spreading to my neck face and legs. (I honestly wasn't offered refund either which is kind of shocking in this incident....) So for other clients I'd be very very careful. If you assume or know of any allergy don't go. Just don't. It's not worth the pain, the misery, or the money flushed down the drain. They were jagged, uneven,I had to keep pointing out and went on with more than one nail and more than one time on the same nail. I had to tell her she needed to put more top coat over where she just filed off. The white tip polish is very uneven as are the shape of the nails. Even being short the shape can be closer to uniform. The white tip should all be close to the same size not perfect but close. I trusted and believed she was skilled enough to achieve a decent French mani. Christina would need to acquire a lot more skill to be called or practice as a professional.
