Incredible service. Found them through U-Haul. We had everything moved out of our home to have our floors refinished ( they knew this). They did an absolutely fantastic job protecting everything and loading the truck. We'd only booked them one way originally but after the move out I called them for the move in. The owner of the business picked up and knew exactly who I was. He said they could come back the next day. He himself came and took the absolute greatest care with our new floors. We were thrilled. I was a moving guy during college for 3 years. I usually worked with a great crew compared to others I worked with. Typically it's a cash job, and that can get you all sorts. This is a family type operation, and they're great. I'm pretty sure the business owner was on my move, and might be on all/most moves. He knows his stuff and had great people, and they are very trustworthy from my experience as a mover. This is my 3rd move with Northside Movers, and they've crushed it every time! I'm a single woman, and they went above and beyond with helping me on furniture I was unable to handle myself -helped take apart my bed, my sectional, TV from being mounted on the wall.. they go above and beyond. Best movers I've ever had. They came late on a Sunday (due to problems with UHaul not having the trailer I reserved available on time) and were extremely professional and really knew how to do their job. They wrapped everything (with the blankets I got from U-Haul) to protect it and used every bit of space in the trailer to make sure everything I had fit. I highly recommend them. read more

I've used Northside Movers twice in the last 6 months. The first time was in November 17 when I decluttered my Edgewater Condo and moved items to a storage facility. I booked them through the Uhaul website. Gus and his teammate were on time, fast, and the move was at a fair price. Now the condo is sold and I am living temporarily in an apartment while storing most of my belongings. William and his teammate were again on time, and moved everything to 2 different locations effortlessly. They even helped find a box of summer shoes in storage so I would have my sandals this summer! I will reserve their time when I move to my permanent condo this summer. These guys are amazing. They enveloped furniture and mattresses in plastic, were extremely professional and very nice. We booked Northside Movers through Uhaul and MovingHelp.com. We spoke to them on the phone to book a time and place a week or so ahead. We arrived on that day to move, and they did not show up. Phone calls went unreturned. We had to cancel and hire new movers on short notice. There was never any apology or follow up for the no-show. read more
