I greatly appreciated the email follow ups/receipts, and Samantha called me the day before to run through the process and make sure we were ready to go!

They were timely and showed up exactly when they were supposed to, were very communicative throughout the whole process, and were incredibly fast and super efficient!. When I first talked to them for a quote, they made it very easy as they walk you through the whole moving process. The person giving the quote makes you go room by room and list all the furniture that you are planning on moving to your new place. They then explain what's included in the price and email you a copy for your records. A $50 deposit is required to lock in your date and is credited towards your total at the end. Adil and his team works super fast and waste no time at all. They are very knowledgeable and work great together as a team. They finished our move 2 hours earlier than what was quoted! Amazing! All our furniture and belongings were packed wonderfully in their truck and all made it to our new place in their respective rooms without any issues. I highly recommend using Move4U the next time you need movers. Their pricing is very affordable and hiring them was one of the best decisions I have ever made. My back would never have survived this move and am very grateful for these guys!

I don't even know where to begin. 1)First, there was definitely at least one broken item that I found just in a couple hours I was there 2)They used gigantic boxes for a ton of little stuff that they just threw in the box. I'm talking a 3-ft tall x 2ft x 2ft box filled with tiny bathroom stuff for one example. Why on Earth would you use such a giant box for a bunch of little stuff, especially when there's things that could spill. 3)"We wrap, protect, and transport everything with care." I found the absolute opposite. There was a whole entire box of fragile porcelain figurines that were placed in a box without any sort of paper or bubble wrap around any of the items and they only threw a wad of paper at the very top. The box where I found a broken porcelain figurine it was just placed amongst other fragile stuff and clothing. Again, no wrapping whatsoever around these fragile objects. 4) Many of the boxes were not labeled as far as the contents and we had no idea what was in these boxes. 5) some of these boxes had words on them and I don't even know if it was English, but I have no idea what they said. And only the top of the box is remarked none of the sides. So you had to unbury all of the boxes just to read whatever gibberish was on the top. 6) they literally just placed the boxes anywhere they wanted. The homeowner tried to direct them to what rooms things went in and it was a complete disaster when I got there today. 7) And before I forget, the most important thing is that they lost their cat! They had a door that was closed and they told one of them make sure nobody goes in here because I have cats in here and they opened the door and the cat ran out of the house and is still missing as of a couple weeks. How are they going to compensate for that? That was only 4 hours today and it was a WhatTF ...one after another. I'm going to be helping them unpack for the next few weeks and I cringe thinking what I'm going to find. Seems like they were a very lazy and unprofessional/ untrained team. I pack as part of my job as well and this was high schooler level. A college kid would do better than this. Major training is needed

I spoke to all, and I mean ALL the major moving names in Chicago. We went with a mover only be canceled on a week prior to our move! Roy came to our rescue, and boy did he ever! From the moment we spoke to on the phone to the moment they drove away, it was a professional, positive, and reassuring experience. We had a massive move and Roy came to our home to check out how much we would likely have to move. Quoted us a FIRM price, no flexible or hidden fees, and on the day of the move he, himself was the on the team with 5 other guys. I have never see a move more proficient and professional set up/ (I have moved plenty!) He had his guys stationed in an assembly line, so no wasted time up and down stairs, he went back and forth between the truck and the apartment and watched his guys like a hawk! One of his movers joked and said that Roy could be a Drill Sargent, and he's right, but don't take that in a negative way, he did everything with a hint of joke or chuckle while being serious. The guy was great! His team was great! We are so so impressed. We don't plan on moving any time soon but you better believe we will be booking him and his team again someday in the future. Thank you Roy and Team! Excellent work!

For my actual move day, I went from a house to a storage unit to our new home. Mykola and his team showed up just on time, provided proper communication ahead of time where we walked through the space - he took note of what needed to be taken, wrapped up carefully, including the moving of a piano, and asked great questions. They disassembled a variety of furniture such as a standing desk, couch, beds, and more. The entire team was incredibly efficient, polite and respectful of my property. When we were in the storage unit, they worked so effectively and cleared the unit in only 30 minutes! Once in the space, they were fantastic - they moved boxes into the correct room, double checked with questions, assembled furniture and at the end of the day, they finished in less time that I was quoted. Just to note - they do ask for a $50 deposit, and then, as part of my price, they request the first $500 of the full price to be in cash. Mykola was a wonderful foreman and leader - I would gladly trust H2H Movers again. Thank you for making such a stressful time of moving a seamless and respectful one.

I would not recommend this company. They are overpriced and…read morehave a very poor quality of work and even worse customer service. They protect themselves with their lengthy contract to ensure they have zero liability with your future and belongings. After sending numerous emails with no response, I called to speak to them about the damages. Richard was quick to tell me that I was lucky he took my call since he just returned from a long trip to Italy. This made me feel like my concerns were not important and he was doing me a favor by taking my call. Before hiring Collins Family Movers, pay very close attention to the damage/liability exclusions in their agreement. In my experience, those exclusions were like a green light to be careless with anything they can later say they aren't responsible for. When they damage your property, don't bother talking to Richard as he will make you feel like it's your fault for trusting them and not moving certain things yourself. I paid $1,600 to move a one-bedroom apartment with no appliances, yet apparently the best option would have been for me to move certain belongings myself. If I'm hiring and paying professional movers, I expect my belongings to be handled carefully whether or not a contract says the company will reimburse me if something gets damaged, but this is not what I got with Collins. Boxes clearly labeled for specific rooms were put in the wrong rooms. It was as if they couldn't read. I had to carry heavy boxes to the basement myself. Again a concern dismissed by Richard, but a service I paid for. A large, extremely heavy armoire was placed without anyone asking where I wanted it, and now I have to find someone to move it because it is sitting where my bed needs to go. It is unrealistic to expect a 60 year old woman to move this heavy furniture, yet all Richard could say was "where were you" as if I was unavailable. There was no sense of urgency from the moving team. It literally took three hours to load my one bedroom apartment. Mind you when I moved a year ago with Alamo and the same belongings, it took half the time. When I expressed this concern to Richard it was dismissed and excuses were made. I had to unwrap all of the furniture myself just to get them out of here because it was taking them so long. In addition the movers took an over one hour to make a drive that took me 20 minutes, while I was paying by the hour, equating to over $110 overpayment. Also, know that your trash cans will be filled with their shrink wrap because they do not haul away their own packing material, also in the contract but in my opinion a dis-service to the customer. The shrink wrap was used in place of moving blankets, which would have been a more sustainable and safer option. I've now used two different companies. Alamo Movers Inc. took roughly half the time with essentially the same belongings and provided a far better moving experience, with no damage to my property. The cost was about half as much as. Furniture was carefully moved with no damage and placed where I wanted it. When they were done I was satisfied unlike this situation.
