Really disappointing service. Took a while for anyone to approach our table. My MIL ordered a coffee and that was forgotten. I told our server I was celiac so gluten free- ordered the burger with nothing on it and a plain salad. The salad came with crotons and I asked for another salad without them because of my allergy and she rolled her eyes at me then brought back the same salad with the croutons picked off. This place is definitely not allergy friendly and the dismissiveness is worse. The food was meh. Such a bummer the staff is so rude. I would never go here again or recommend it. read more

You walk into Northside Kitchen and are greeted by a super friendly General Manager, Brent, who will do whatever he can to accommodate. While we were waiting we learned about the awesome Wines and they wine special (20% off a bottle on this evening) Then we were so fortunate to have the most sunshiney, yet professional, server Kristy. She knew the wine/menu inside and out and was super fun to be around and very efficient. The food: Excellent !!! Super fresh fish, wonderfully pasta and soup (we weren't super hungry) great value for the money, beautifully presented and fresh. Met Jim the owner of this and a few others in town. He was a nice down to earth guy who was working with his staff as opposed to watching them. Best of all, possibly was the high energy, non pretentious vibe. We visited Northside Kitchen last night with including my toddler. The staff were all incredibly friendly and accommodating. The first person we talked to grabbed a donut for her! The food was pretty incredible as well. I got the ribeye which was cooked to perfection, my wife got salmon and my mother in law got the risotto. We were all very impressed by the food that came out! Worst customer service and restaurant experience i've ever had. first of all the guy who's answering your phones is extremely rude and unwelcoming, he literally yelled at me for calling in and asking a question about my reservation. i should have taken that as a sign to not come here but i went anyways. my friend and i were ignored the majority our time there by the wait staff, the food took forever and a day to come out, and halfway through my meal i find an extremely long piece of hair. this restaurant is a complete joke don't waste your time if you're looking for a good dinner experience. read more

Stopped by for breakfast on 7/24/20 around 10:30 am. Based on the reviews we were expecting some delish food with great service. Not exactly the case, but I thats most my preference. From the get go, the service was okay. The gal seating us was a bit on the slow end, though I'm sure that has to do with them being short staffed. The patio was fairly packed for being COVID19, with multiple tables within 3 feet of each other. Rather than remove a table or two to give some additional space, they leave them on the patio & just don't use them. Hubs had the eggs Benedict and really enjoyed them. I on the other hand had the huevos rancheros, smothered in green chili & stacked on top of barely warmed corn tortillas. It just wasn't my fave. The coffee was literally brown water. Not much too it. We had to stop on our way back into town to grab an actua cup of Joe. read more

So, went back to try $1 donuts and see what reviewers were so excited about. Turns out they're only available after 3 PM.

If you want food poisoning, be sure to stop in... Lunch may be wonderful as indicated by other reviews, but a 'Sysco" breakfast is nothing to write home about. If you've ever watched Chopped, then you'll understand - the ingredients were not transformed - but that wasn't the issue. My breakfast burrito 'looked' wonderful and tasted okay. Average is an adequate description. It was the shocking aftereffects that were a spot-on indication of where the trouble started. Could have been someone not washing their hands, or food spoiled from inconsistent temperatures - any number of things. Yuk. You get the picture. I really don't wish that on anyone, but a lot can happen in between 1/26/22 till today.... I sure won't go back, even to give lunch a try. If my experience happens at breakfast, then I sure wouldn't want to 'stay up all night in the bathroom'. I'd be willing to bet the locals are already aware and leave the 'experiences' to the tourists. read more

We came in after a day of Snowboarding at Beaver Creek. We were 15 min early for dinner, so we sat at the bar and got some drinks, fall salad, & taco. All delicious & service was great. My husband is a donut aficionado. We got the donut hook up & he was so pumped. These donuts were out of this world - even at 6pm. I'd say probably top 3 in our book. We split the pesto gnocchi - super tasty & large portions. Everyone was great, as well as the ambiance. We are looking forward to coming back for breakfast. read more

DINE HERE. Don't think, just come!!! The atmosphere of Northside is beyond fun, amazing, and welcoming! I'm super bummed I didn't catch the name of our greeter, but the gentleman with the longish light hair - you're so awesome and we love you. His hospitality was top notch from the moment we walked through the doors. Our server, Christine, was JUST as awesome and we love you JUST as much (if not a little bit more since we had more time with you ;) ). Christine deserves a raise, promotion, and a man of her dreams. She made our dinner extremely fun and hospitable. We were shocked of how much good care Northside gave us and also bummed we didn't get to try their breakfast (as we've heard it is phenomenal) but at least we got some donuts to go! We had breakfast here one morning while staying in Avon. The inside was very casual and homestyle. We were told to take a seat at any table. The owners certainly have a sense of humor as exhibited by their take out bags which indicate Northside Kitchen in Avon, Dubai, London, Paris and Vail. Of course, it's a joke, but I believed it for a few minutes until the waitress corrected me. We were disappointed to see they had no omelets on the menu. So, we ordered a breakfast burrito and poached eggs with a side of hash browns. Both the burrito and eggs were just fine. The hash browns, which were more like breakfast potatoes, were barely warm and appeared to be out of a bag. That was a little disappointing, since we ordered two sides of hash browns and it so not worth it. The stellar knockout was my to-go order of an old fashioned glazed donut. Later on that day for a little snack we tore into that scrumptious donut. Wow! The donuts at Northside Kitchen certainly live up to all the hype. And it was big enough to share! Great restaurant: breakfast, lunch or dinner. Breakfast: their donuts are AMAZING. But don't sleep in or arrive late day, you'll be quibbling over a more limited selection. Lunch and dinner: Fantastic menu. Just be aware if you have a large group single table seating might be an issue. Wow! What a great experience! My family has been coming to Beaver Creek annually since 1999 and we have our designated restaurants that we always go to, but unfortunately some have shut down during the pandemic. We were on our way to one such restaurant when we realized that it was shut down. I hopped on here and saw the recommendation for Northside Kitchen and we decided to go. We arrived just before dinner service started and the very friendly bartender invited us over for a drink while they prepared our table. She served us quickly despite having a very busy bar and even ensured that we would be seated without a reservation. I was very happy to see my favorite red a Van Duzer Pinot Noir. When it was time to be seated, we got our pick of table or booth and were seated in the back area with a beautiful, large window. Our waitress, Christy, was fabulous! She was funny, energetic, responsible, attentive, and made wonderful recommendations. She even brought us a free service of garlic mashed potatoes and bread pudding. The food was fabulous and we were so impressed! We had the Trout, French Onion Soup, Winter Salad, Tomato and Red Pepper Soup. The food was excellent - perfectly seasoned and very flavorful. The owner greeted us on our departure and was very gregarious and accommodating! All in all, this was a wonderful experience with delicious food and we will be happy to add this to our list of restaurants that we now always visit on our annual family ski trip. read more

Northside kitchen is amazing. Their breakfast is killer (homemade fruit and yogurt was insane!) hashbrowns were crispy and golden and huge for a side. Avocado toast was fresh and delicious and coffee was great. Their fun doughnut combinations are all incredible at a great price! Dinner... Outstanding. I had the short ribs that were tender and mouthwatering. Garlic mashed potatoes were delicious and Brussel sprouts and bacon ... I don't even need to say more. Pops had the prime rib and Moms the filet mignon. Both were AMAZING!!!!!! The staff is beyond friendly and accommodating, the atmosphere is warm and inviting. Lots of laughs and good times. Very good breakfast food but packed and a little slow to get food. The Eggs Benedict was delicious. Two things they need to fix asap though: 1. The water served tastes like a rusty water fountain. I asked the server to bring some other water and he poured it from the filtered soda machine and it was normal. 2. The restaurant had a nasty scent of B.O. in more than one sections. Not sure if it's a staffer walking around or if it's something they serve that wreaks like a smelly person. Nonetheless the food was good. Awesome breakfast stop in Avon! We came here for the first time today on a local's recommendation, and they did not disappoint. We had a few donuts as a "starter" - they were definitely fresh and were very good! I especially enjoyed the cinnamon sugar cake donut. We also had a great cup of coffee and a mocha. And to finish it all off, we grabbed a breakfast burrito, which had egg, hash browns and bacon in it, then topped off with green chile. The burrito was huge, and my wife and I split it, but it was so good. They incorporate the chopped up bacon into the egg, which was a nice touch. Called for a reservation this evening. They said none were available. I asked if we could eat at the bar. They said it was open seating and there was plenty of seating at the bar. I got there and saw that there was at least 9 seats (I needed 3). The owner (man with white hair and black shirt) said the 3 that I wanted were RESERVED and that I could have the 3 at the end of the bar behind all the glasses. He says he has to hold the other 3 seats for the man who "changed his diapers." Give me a break! Then he offered me a glass of wine as an "I'm sorry." My son arrived and it took forever for a drink order. The tall bartender with long braids wouldn't take our order until we flagged her down. Most obnoxious was when she came up and grabbed my wine glass and started swirling the wine and asked me whether it was a 6oz or 9oz. I said I didn't know it was complimentary. This obviously upset her because she started to ignore us and deliberately be rude. How this restaurant stays in business with someone with her attitude is hard to comprehend. She started clearing our plates before we were done. She is a huge disservice to this establishment. Restaurants come and go. This restaurant will not survive with her behind the bar! read more

We've visited Northside every time we've visited Beaver Creak over the past 15 years. Probably 2-3 times a year. During that timeframe we've seen many changes. This trip we found a bustling restaurant that has grown into itself for the best! We loved our breakfast. (Pictured). The staff was super nice as always, parking...even though the place was packed, was easy. North side has definitely evolved from a quiet local spot to a tourist destination although plenty of locals still dine here. The prices have gone up but the food is still worth every penny.
