DO NOT LOOK ANY FURTHER!! Josè and Rafael were amazing. My air conditioners look like they are from Tiffany's Jewelry. They made the process easy and were beyond professional. They were able to quickly problem solve a small issue. Can not recommend Josè and Rafael more. Request them! Management was easy to work with as well. There is a reason they have the best yelp reviews! read more

North Pole Cooling Corp. - Heating & Air Conditioning/HVAC Near Me - Brooklyn, New York

I cannot say enough good things about my experience with North Pole from start to finish. From the first call, we set up meeting at the house, and he was on time and very fair with the quote. Then we set up an install date and time, and once again, the guys were on time and amazing. Even cleaned my grate once we removed the old AC. Definitely above and beyond! read more

Found this company when I was moving to the city and needed an A/C unit. They were awesome!! Super prompt, extremely professional, and gave recommendations on the best unit to purchase for my window and their installation was extremely fast. Will highly recommend them and will use them again if I move to another location. The owner/manager was wonderful to work with. read more

Highly recommended!!! Amazing service! We are so happy with our new AC units. Right of the bat Susie was so kind and helpful in determining what type of AC we needed for our apartment. She was thorough and knowledgeable in advising size, unit and brand. She was also accommodative in getting the units installed ASAP (like the very next day). We removed three old and heavy Window AC units and installed 3 brand new units! The price was reasonable and the work was excellent. Thank you North Pole Cooling Co! We are loving our new AC :) read more

North Pole Cooling Corp did a wonderful job installing my ac. For setting up the appointment, Jason was extremely prompt and flexible with working around my schedule to install the ac asap. We provided our own AC and Jason quoted me a price better/comparable to Home Depot's independent contractors. While others make you buy the window bracket, they include it in their install price. For the install, Jose and Josh were fantastic. They were quick, friendly, professional and extremely efficient. They were in an out of the apartment in les than 30min and did a great job with the install. Would definitely recommend to a friend. read more

Dealing with this company was so easy. They are professional, responsive and honest. I have used them for both servicing my existing window units and purchasing a new one. Suzy in particular was fantastic. She was extremely helpful and friendly. I highly recommend North Pool Cooling! read more

Jose & Josh did a wonderful job! They helped move our AC from one apartment to the next, while installing white panel on the sides for a larger window. They were friendly, efficient, and professional; excellent at what they do! read more

So far, so good! I needed help, and quick, and somehow had the good fortune to choose North Pole Cooling from the list on Yelp. Within three hours from my first contact, Jason had arrived, friendly and knowledgeable. He sized up the situation, made his recommendation, then turned to the issue of installation, made careful measurements of the sleeve, consulted with a team member who'd worked in my building and gave me a couple of options re the sleeve. I signed up then and there. Later, a friend in my building to whom I mentioned North Pole, told me he'd used them too and they had been "super efficient," in fixing a problem from the original installer. The friend's experience with North Pole made me even more confident that I'd made the right decision to hire them. Will update after the installation, but from all the other 5-star reviews, I think the result will be successful. read more

From beginning to end, I had a great experience with North Pole Cooling Corp. They are licensed to install air conditioners safely in NYC and my apartment building recommended them. The woman I spoke with over the phone was very polite and friendly, and she squeezed me in for an air conditioner installation the next day. Jose and Josh came by with smiles and all of their supplies, installed my air conditioner beautifully, and left the place spotless. They were professional and courteous, and I have 0 complaints! My apt is nice and cool, for the same price range of installation quotes I received from other companies! Thanks! read more

Everyone I've dealt with at North Pole Cooling is very knowledgable and professional. I was able to schedule an appointment within 24 hours. They arrived promptly which meant I didn't waste the entire day waiting around for them to show up like I've experienced with other companies. They completed the job in record time. North Pole is definitely my go-to company for all my heating and air conditioning needs. read more

We needed help when our AC began to fail. The response was immediate. The service technicians were impeccable, finding the cause of the problem and providing solutions. Jason provided multiple options and saved the day. I would highly recommend this company. read more

Jose and Rafael were great! They fixed the AC in my classroom and now my students can focus on their learning and not how hot and sticky they feel. Both Jose and Rafael were very professional and they put everything back as they found it. I highly recommend this company. read more

I'm highly disappointed in how this company handles scheduling for estimates. I've been in contact with this company since June 11th for ductless AC installation and a wall AC replacement. I had to call multiple times to then be told email was the best way to contact Jason. I spoke with Jason on June 15th and he said he needed to see the space for the estimate. I made an appointment for the estimate two weeks out for any time in the morning but was never told an exact time that he could come out. I had to call that week to find out a time and was told that it depends on Jason's schedule. The day before my appointment, I received an email saying that Jason has to come in the evening of my scheduled day, which was not my original request. Nevertheless, I emailed back that I will do the evening. I got no response back. I emailed the morning of my appointment to confirm a time again and Jason responded that possibly Saturday could work because with all the heat, he's getting a lot of calls. Again, on good faith for the quality of work I read about, I attempted to reschedule for Saturday, my email was met with no response. I texted Jason Saturday morning to confirm if he was able to come that afternoon and he responded that he would keep me posted. It's now Tuesday and I haven't heard from anyone. Based on other reviews about how great the company was, I was looking forward to working with them. Unfortunately, I had to find another company to assist with the job. This has been a waste of time and a headache. For all it's worth, Suzi who works the phones was great and every time I called she was pleasant and did her best to make an appointment for me so my stars are for her. read more

North Pole Cooling was by far the best experience I've ever had getting any service done in New York. Jose came to remove our old AC units and replace them with new ones. He was knowledgeable, thoughtful, conscientious, courteous, and checked in with me at every appropriate time when decisions had to be made about installation and aesthetics. He told me he wanted to make sure I was happy and it showed. I was so impressed. I even called to make sure his manager was aware of his professionalism and incredible service. Worth every penny. I urge you to choose this company. What a pleasure. read more

Jose and Fernando arrived on time to reinstall our air conditioners, which had been immaculately serviced. They were efficient, prepared, installed, cleaned up spotlessly, and were nice too. Highly recommended. read more

I was referred to them by Friedrich's excellent warrantee coverage. North Pole was quick to come out to my apartment and sent a friendly person to help in these desperate times of need when it comes to air conditioning. I'm glad companies like this still exist. Thanks. read more

Highly recommend this place. Friendly, on time, knowledgeable. There were three possible problems with our large 7 year old 36000 BTU window AC. We were looking at over $3000 to replace it but North Pole found it was only the GFI plug and had it repaired and running in one short visit and for exactly their quoted amount. read more

Similar to a prior post, I didn't have a good experience. They were polite to speak with, but gave a much too high estimate for the work and insisted an expensive unit was the only one I could use when it wasn't. I had another contractor give an estimate and was able to install a less expensive AC at a much lower overall price. Get a second opinion if something doesn't sound right, I'm glad I did. read more

These guys were great. They came in, gave me an estimate to fix replace 1 machine and fix another. What I really appreciated about working with these guys is that they didn't just try to sell me 2 new units, they recognized that 1 of my machines was in otherwise great condition and needed a simple repair. They worked fast and they do great installation work as well. read more

Wow is all I can say here. Jose and his brother were excellent today installing our new Friedrich AC unit. Friendly, helpful, knowledgeable, and professional. Susie on the sales and scheduling side was also a real pro and such a sweetheart. You can really tell a lot about a business by how their employees treat you. Well done North Pole Cooling! You have a customer for life. read more

I had an extremely tough job on task for these guys, I was turned down by many other companies, Jason and his team made it work with ease. They are extremely professional and will get your job done regardless of how hard it may seem. Not only will they get it done, they can get you scheduled very quickly and are out at your apartment of house before you know it. No reason to use any other company than Jason and his team read more

These guys deserve a great review. I scheduled them to come out and check 2 AC units and then completely forgot about it. I left my son with a babysitter to go to a doctor's appointment when they showed up at my house, ready to fix my AC. My babysitter was unaware that they'd be coming and didn't let them in and they were unable to reach me for at least an hour. When they finally reached me they were understandably frustrated but remained very professional in the context of a very chaotic situation that was completely my fault. They also did a great job with the actual repair. Highly recommend. read more

North Pole removed and re-installed my AC for the winter and both experiences were excellent. They were super attentive, incredibly quick, and did a great job. Jose and Rafael were awesome - can't recommend them enough! read more

I spoke to a very rude man on the phone. I asked if he would be able to walk me through the services they provide. I was told window, central or through-the-wall tube. Ok great! I was trying to understand the concept of central AC and how it works and well as through-the-wall. The man was very upset I asked any questions as he called my name and said this is not Q&A. Excuse me, I am inquirying about your service and a quick explaination of how it works. I am not asking for a manual I simmply requested if it is doable and applicable to my apartment. Do you live in an apartment? I already answered this, I kindly said yes. He was upset I did not provide information, I asked please let me know what kind of information I can provide, he got very upset I asked that. I do not know what information you are seeking if you don't askk me what you need. I found that call to be the most unprofessional call. I work in sales, a corporate setting, sure these guys are not well trained in articulation. I suggest you get a sales person to relay services provided as those workers provided the actual service are not cut to speak with a potential customer. Boo to the man that is unable to have a conversation about your work. That is why you install AC and not sell to customers. read more

Very responsive (day and night, weekdays and weekends) and competent. Our heating issues were pretty complex and urgent, but they got the job done. Best experience we've had with electricians/contractors generally in Brooklyn. read more

Incredible service, gracious demeanor, these guys are the best. I asked for a spring power cleaning and they even replaced the broken plastic container inside that holds it all together and and the front grillwork. I wouldn't go anywhere else. read more

They came when they said they would (both to assess what was needed and to do it) and they did what they said they would, at a fair price. This company is a pleasure to deal with. read more

I just had North Pole service both of my Friedrich AC units. One had to be taken away in order to be properly cleaned too. The technicians that came to my house were lovely, polite and efficient. The staff that I dealt with over the phone were also consistently pleasant and made sure I was happy with the service I received. Would absolutely recommend this business to anyone needing AC work done. read more

Their sales team is great, but their service department is even better! We purchased our Friedrich air conditioner from them and unfortunately had a number of problems with the unit, no fault of North Pole, and their response has been exceptional. They worked directly with Friedrich to make sure all the work/parts were covered under warranty and were able to return the unit to us quickly. I've recommended them to a number of my neighbors in our office park who have since purchased air conditioners from North Pole. Thank you Suzi and Jason for all of your help. read more
