We called Prime as we weren't sure whether our AC needed replacing or just servicing. The repairman arrived right on time and was really friendly and knowledgeable. He tested our compressor and diagnosed the problem then recommended re-gassing. This was a much cheaper alternative to replacing the unit! Would definitely call them again. read more

Prime Air Group just completed their 2nd job at my residence, installing a Mitsubishi Split Air unit on the other side of the house. As well as replacing my ancient electric panel. They arrived on time, explained the process, and were done in 5 1/2 hours, and even swept up and cleaned any smudges left on my wall. Somehow they managed to be even nicer and more proficient than last year. All at a terrific price (I had several estimates). Best contractors I have ever had the pleasure to deal with. read more

Prime Air Group is a reliable company. They did a deep cleaning of my units 2 years ago and they've been working great. They gave an honest diagnosis of an issue I had this week and scheduled an appointment the same week to get it serviced. The technicians are knowledgeable and friendly. Highly recommend for any HVAC issues and I'm a repeat customer. read more

Needed to have my four year old Mitsubishi split AC system checked out. Called Prime Air and a very pleasant lady scheduled me for a visit on the next day. As promised a tech, named Vladimir, showed up on time and commenced testing the various components. He was thorough and explained everything that he did. He was efficient, professional, and wasted no time. Gave me his honest opinion and did not try to sell me unnecessary services. read more

After having three old wall mounted air conditioners removed and the openings closed up, it was time to find an HVAC company that would install Mini Split units. I searched the web and reviewed using Yelp. It's not very often that things actually work out as planned. I did my due diligence but in the back of my mind I always anticipate things going array. That's part of my background as a property owner and as an engineer. To my delight everything turned out exactly how I envisioned it. Nick the Project Manager at Prime Air Group was instrumental in quickly providing a few possible installation dates. He was correct that it would take two days to complete and his team was well trained. Nick was honest and candid about which Manufacturer and model mini split unit to install. He provided two quotes. I chose the Mitsubishi units that he suggested since my research showed likewise. These people are top notch and at the top of their game! They pay attention to detail. I whole heartedly recommend them. Take it from an engineer who was also a Project Manager before retiring! Look at the pictures!! read more

Their knowledge is what sold me on these excellent contractors as other Mitsubishi Diamond Dealers were unaware that Mitsubishi had increased the amperage on their newest unit and they alerted me to needing to install more robust electrical lines. They also did an excellent job of installing the equipment and in answering all the questions I had along the way, to make me feel more comfortable. They were also the least expensive and were able to fit me in weeks before the other installers could. If there was an option for 6 stars, I would choose it. read more

We just had repairs and maintenance done on our 13-year old DAIKIN Mini-split AC which started leaking. We could not be happier with the service. The technician, Airro was respectful and thorough. Nick and Prime Air Group installed a two-zone, Mitsubishi mini split in my brownstone and did an excellent job. There are always challenges working in old homes, but extra credit goes to the crew for working straight through the wildfire smoke storm of June, 2023. I was expecting the group to leave and return the next week, but no, they stuck with it and continued their work in challenging conditions. The price was right, and Nick was professional and communicative. I contacted several companies and felt like I was always a bother to them. Not with Prime Air. Nick's personalized approach and abiding patience inspired confidence. I highly recommend Prime Air for installing mini splits. If they can do it here, they can do it anywhere. read more

I had a fantastic experience with Prime air group when replacing my split AC unit. I've used this company for multiple issues over the past few years and every time I reach out they are quick to respond and offer helpful solutions. Recently my AC stopped working and they detected a leak, so Nick walked me through my options and provided an honest, expert opinion and offered me very reasonable options for replacement. Alex replaced our unit and as always he was quick, very professional, and answered any questions we had! The unit is working perfectly and I couldn't be happier with their service. I highly recommend them and will continue to use them for future projects. read more

Honest, expert and reliable work that has been our experience with Prime Air. I want to give a special shout out to Vladimir. He very patiently explained to me how the heating and cooling system works in our apartment building. I felt the previous company that serviced our building tried to rip us off at every opportunity. I've had the opposite experience with Prime Air. They have been nothing but honest and tried to save us money. Thank you Mimi Kramer read more

Prime Air installed two mini-splits in our brownstone on the UWS last month. I was out of town, but Nick and his team did an outstanding job keeping me involved. He sent pictures whenever a decision needed to be made (or confirmed). He was always available. My adult daughter (who was present) reported that the technicians were hardworking and always polite and professional. So they passed every test but one: Will the units deliver on that first hot summer day? I'd bet on it. Thanks, Nick. read more

Requested a ductless mini split to be installed. Provided information on the different options, their cost, and pros/cons after coming on site to see the space that needed AC. HVAC in my old factory brooklyn apartment building is complicated! After multiple weeks of sinking money into secondhand AC's with BAD LUCK I decided to check in with Prime Air. I got a quick, very friendly and free consultation for a split system. Unfortunately my building could not accommodate but Prime Air was easy to schedule with to install some (extremely complicated!) 15K BTU units in my apartment. Alex was prompt, friendly and efficient and my large sunny apartment is FINALLY COOL! Very happy with Prime Air, would absolutely recommend for Split Systems and Window Units read more

Vladimir came to service my h-vac system and he was fantastic! Warm and friendly, he seemed very happy to help. To him, this was not work but a mystery to be solved! I actually called him back 15 minutes after he left and he happily came back to address my concern. When using this service, which is terrific by the way ask for Vladimir! read more

Big fan of Nick and the team at Prime. Very responsive and trustworthy. We've had to service our split system a couple of times in past few years. Nick and the team are everything you want: responsive, professional, friendly, knowledgeable and fair. Recommend without reservation. read more

Fixed my HVAC problem and saved me from a bigger issue. They were honest and friendly. Recommended.

Alex and Nick did an amazing job and were responsive from beginning to end. The jobs were to: deep clean a system of three, 7-year-old (and never before cleaned) mini-split units and the roof condenser; refill refrigerant as needed; and replace three noisy pumps with new quiet ones. Prime Air's prices were very reasonable throughout, sometimes significantly lower than other quotes I got. The work was done over two visits (at our request) but two different techs and they were both super polite and efficient. For the cleaning they disassembled the indoor units, cleaned, and put them back together. The system is running perfectly, feels like new and honestly better than even the first run. Thank you for the great service. read more

Nick and his team are awesome! So quick to respond and help! 2 years ago we got 3 splits put in and they have worked wonderfully! We use them year round for heat & A/C so they really are always on. 2 times we had a couple of hiccups and Nick and his team come promptly and do the jobs quickly and are very professional and courteous. I highly recommend his services! read more

I have two multi room mini-split systems in my duplex apartment that haven't been cleaned in a few years. I reached out to prime air group for a diagnostic - the tech came on time and pointed out how dirty the units were. The next week, they came back and did a deep clean on all of my units and topped it up with r134a. My units went from 50F to 36F. Best money I have spent - the units havent worked this well since the condominium was built! The tech was clean, on time both visits and did a great job overall. I will definitely be using prime air group annually. The price was fair for the quality and convenience read more

Excellent top to bottom. I had my Islandaire HVAC units repaired and they were quick, responsive, friendly and got the job done on point. Highly recommend!!! read more

I highly recommend this company. I had a problem with my split AC unit that three companies could not figure out (over the course of two years) and billed me ridiculous amounts of money to simply tell me they could not figure it out. Then I found Prime Air Group. They worked through everything and eventually got the unit up and running within days. That should have been enough. Nope. They then did a full service project of hiding wires and making it as if there was never a problem to begin with. The best part, they were the most reasonable with pricing, scheduling and they couldn't be a nicer group of people working there. Thanks so much! I highly recommend and will certainly be using them again. read more

I was impressed with Nick. His responsiveness and professionalism keep me at ease and made doing business Prime Air a pleasure.

We highly recommend Prime Air Group for your mini-split needs. Any house project can be stressful, but Nick and his team made it as seamless as possible from start to finish. They have the process down, which means they will come and look at what you need, describe your options, and then present you with a detailed range of prices based on need and manufacturer. Once you sign the contract, put down the deposit, and schedule the installation, the rest is on autodrive. A team of professional, fast, and knowledgeable workers come over the span of a day to several days--for us, it was 3 days to do the install for three units. Nick (or his equivalent) will also be on site to make sure things are going smoothly. And when the outside unit was acting up, one of their tech guys came the next day after I let them know. While there are other options for your heating and cooling needs, and several companies with comparable quotes, I honestly feel like I know Prime Air Group. They are so responsive, I almost feel like there are no other options, really. One last thing, they offer two service checks which is a nice added benefit. If you are thinking about splits, do not hesitate to call! read more

I had a ductless AC unit that stopped cooling. I reached out to Prime Air Group and they were quick to setup a time to check out my existing unit. After inspection they asked me some questions about the age of the unit. They then gave me what my options were for service and the pros and cons of each. Even though I was unable to go through with the replacement as it was blocked by my landlord, the service and pricing I received were excellent. I'd recommend these folks to any of my friends looking to get a new unit or service an old one. read more

Prime Air was fantastic from beginning to end throughout the process of installing a mini split in my apartment. Their communication was incredible and Nick was always quick to respond to any questions I had. They are flexible in terms of letting you purchase your own unit (as opposed to through them) if you'd like and also are willing to work with an electrician of your choice. The job was incredibly professional and neat. Not to mention their prices were fair. Would highly recommend them to anyone! read more

Required deep cleaning for a mini-split a/c unit 14 feet up in a 4th floor walk-up. Andrei came prepared with extendable ladder and all the equipment he needed. Explained what he was doing each step of the way and showed me how dirty the (possibly never serviced) unit was. Also ran diagnostics on roof unit and found it was in test mode and not functioning properly. With an easy switch fix, he put my unit in clean working order for a very reasonable price. read more

I used these guys for a Mitsubishi 24k btu split unit installation and I could not be any happier. Nick and his team were probably the most professional and meticulous group of contractors I've ever worked with. Don't look anywhere else if you want HVAC installation. These guys are unbeatable! read more

For a reasonable flat fee Prime Air sent a technician to check 3 PTAC units in my apartment. The technician was very thorough and honest. When he noticed that the previous owner of my apartment had disconnected the thermostat from the main unit, he proactively fixed the issue that I didn't even know I had... he identified an issue with two of the older units and gave me some options, without pushing me to buy anything. Overall he sounded very honest and knowledgeable. I will contact them again for ongoing maintenance read more
