At long last I found my AC place. Jason and North Pole Cooling came to my rescue when PC Richard, yet again, sent an installation crew who does not handle wall-throughs, despite confirmations. Jason came to assess my situation, and during his careful inspection we agreed that my ancient wall-through AC sleeve was in dire need of change and updating. He sent a thoroughly professional two-man crew that did not stop working hard for the hours it took to rebuild my wall through sleeve and then install my new AC (and they hauled off the old AC.) Professional, great communicator, trustworthy work. The work wasn't easy, the units were quite heavy but no complaints by the professional and amiable two man team. I was referred to them after a competitor seemingly did not want my business, and boy was I happy. Michelle was very helpful and accommodating, and even apologized for me having no A/C during the heat wave of late June 2024. My Friedrich air conditioner was not turning on, they had the replacement part in stock, and after calling them on a Monday morning, they were at my place by 10:30 AM on Wednesday. One of the team members called on Wednesday morning to confirm and give a more accurate time on when his technician would arrive. The technician replaced the part quickly, obviously knew what he was doing, and even gave some suggestions on how to extend the cool air into my bedroom from the living room (I only have one unit in the whole apartment). North Pole is great!! I moved into an apartment with existing Citiquiet windows and they were able to come quickly to assess, managed to find the one unit that would fit the narrow space, then got them ordered and installed. I was nervous about it fitting since the window space was small, but they did multiple measurements at their warehouse to make sure it all fit. The installation process was also great. I highly recommend using them, especially for window AC units and if you have difficult spacing. Shoutout to Jose and Vladimir- they did an amazing and efficient job. My partner and I reached out to Jason at North Pole Cooling, about two years ago to replace three different AC units in our apartment. We were hosting a graduation party in May, and our ancient AC units kicked the can the week of the party. After describing our needs (quiet but powerful), limitations (old school NYC electric), and room sizes, Jason gave us some great recommendations on units including the pricing and install. Plus he was able to have a crew come in time before the party! When it came to the install, Jose and co. did a great job! The units were great, the install was solid, and the plexiglass around the units looked great. Plus they were friendly, courteous, and left things cleaner than before! Cut to two years later, we reached out this week to do our first check up on the units, including cleaning, maintenance, etc. before the Summer hits. Jason was again able to have a crew quickly come to house, and Jose and his crew did another great job. Quick, nice, and efficient... the units look just as good as they two years ago out of the box, even with being outdoors through two winters. Super friendly and easy to work with, they were such a welcome relief from the other companies that won't pick up the phone/onsite without a $250 deposit. He had an on-site initial assessment made for a couple of options I was looking at, a window vs ductless system. Their prices we great for both scenarios. After I decided which route to take, Jason came by the next day to verify everything was set, in person, and then had a crew over here the following day to get everything installed.
