I had a great experience with Igor. I moved to a new apartment and had no one to help me install the AC units. My apartment was unbearably hot, and after contacting many websites and companies I either didn't get a response or received unrealistic prices. He was honestly the best. He was fast to respond, straightforward, reliable, and most affordable! He installed my two window AC units the same day I contacted him and was done in about half an hour. He was professional and honest throughout the entire process and I'm happy I found him since I will absolutely be needing his service again! read more

Very impressed with installation for my Midea U-shaped AC! He was quick to respond and schedule, communicative throughout the entire process, and clearly very knowledgeable. He provided the COI my building requested promptly, and his pricing was very reasonable compared to other quotes I received. The installation was smooth and professional from start to finish. Highly recommend - I would definitely use his services again for AC or other handy work! read more

Aircon - AC Installation - Heating & Air Conditioning/HVAC Near Me

Igor from Aircon was incredible. He was on time, knowledgeable, cleaned 2 window AC units and they now operate like brand new! Igor also identified that a prior HVAC co I hired didn't properly install my unit and so condensation and water was collecting in my unit causing mold and bad smell. I'm so grateful for Igor and his help; the unit blows clean and fresh cold air now and I'm prepped and ready for another hot NYC summer! read more

Highly recommended! Igor is a super nice guy and did a wonderful job cleaning our 3 a/c units, 2 large wall units plus the window one (which some service providers won't do). I have his contact info saved and will definitely call again next time we need this service. read more

Excellent from start to finish. We needed someone to replace an old a/c with a new one at the top of a window. Aircon responded quickly, supplied the proper insurance required, offered a fair price and scheduled the installation within days. I would highly recommend Aircon! read more

I live in California and take care of my aunts home on LI. I reach out to Aircon, and they stepped me through ordering the replacement for an in-wall AC unit that must be 30 years old. We did it through pics taken by my house sitter and measurements. I arrived in NY, met with Aircon and the unit was perfect. Very personable, professional and skilled. And Reasonable. Highly recommended!!! read more

Ihar from Aircon is the nicest, kindest, most patient, efficient worker ever!!!! My landlord in the brownstone I live in was, for some reason, very uptight about installing a window AC unit installation. He requested a ton of insurance and other papers before allowing Aircon to install the unit and Ihar took care of everything to reassure my landlord. Even during the installation my landlord would come in with some odd question and Ihar calmly explained what he was doing. Ihar never got frustrated and just was so easy going with my landlords odd and intense behavior. On top of that Ihar installed two units in the living room beautifully. One was a small older unit and my window is unusually large. He meticulously installed plexiglass for the remaining space that the small AC unit doesn't take up. It looks so so mice! Do not hesitate to use Aircon. They are the best! read more

Top notch service, efficient and great quality. Would recommend to anyone who needs AC installation and cleaning.

When I realized that my primary air conditioner (a wall unit in a Manhattan apartment building whose management and Board of Directors would prefer a roof deck than central air) was about to end - which is never a good thing, and really a terrible thing during the five borough summer - I sought replacement equipment and installation from the last business with which I worked. And...radio silence after multiple calls and an email. So, to Yelp I went. It was a blessing that Igor from Aircon was one of the responders to my project. We scheduled a diagnosis. Igor arrived promptly and identified that not only was the compressor soon to bust, he identified the black mold(!) that had taken hold in the Friedrich WallMaster (my second purchased wall unit since my residence began in October 2000). He recommended where I buy a new unit, identified which model, and we scheduled an installation date. This morning (July 17, 2024), Igor and Abdul arrived shortly after the scheduled time (and they kept me up to date as to their delay and why, and let it be said that city traffic today was beyond understanding), and got to work. They removed the now useless unit, scrubbed clean the sleeve that holds the equipment, effectively installed the new machine (including the addition of a not necessary, yet instructed as such by the building's superintendent), instructed me on best practices for utilization and maintenance, cleared all refuse and trash, and took the old unit to be disposed of safely. I've lived in apartments on my own for years. I can count on one hand the service providers I will hire again. Aircon, thanks to Igor and Abdul, joins that short list. If you live in the tri-state area, THIS is the HVAC team with whom to work. read more

I could not recommend them more! In setting up my appointment he answered all of my questions quickly and got me booked in right away. He was on time, polite, quick & left my AC looking and feeling like it's brand new! Very fair price for cleaning and re-installing for my wall unit, as well. read more

I'm so glad I hired Igor to clean my window unit A/C instead of trying to do it myself. Just look at the before and after pics - that is some deep down nastiness that I did NOT want to be breathing! Not only did he do a great job with the cleaning - he was responsive, punctual, tidy, and friendly. There were some additional issues with the unit and he took extra time to make sure it was working well. Additionally, his pricing was quite reasonable. He was also very nice to my dog, who kept harassing him for pets :D I would definitely hire Aircon again if I need to have an A/C cleaned or installed. read more

I am so grateful for the prompt service that Ihar provided. I had planned on replacing my 10-year-old window air conditioner next season, but suddenly it began leaking condensed water into my apartment. On July 1, there was no stock of the model air conditioner I would have liked to purchase, so I thought I'd try repair and cleaning. Ihar and I communicated back and forth a few times via Yelp and text. (I never had to wait more than a short while for each of his responses.) He scheduled a repair and cleaning later the very same day. He did the job cheerfully, with a minimum of mess; and he answered all of my questions. Top level service: prompt, great communication, and knowledgeable. Thank you, Ihar! read more

Ihar was great! Great service, personable and professional! Wonderful that he was available on Sunday before a heat wave!

I reached out for a quote on Yelp since my regular guy is no longer in the business. Received a quick quote and availability for later the same day. Very easy to communicate with. Professional. Took their shoes off to come in and got straight to it. In and out in under 20 minutes and it looks great. Will use again and would recommend. Igor is an honest man. I asked him to check on my wall-sleeve ACs because they had a faint odor when running them. He thought I was better off not cleaning them because he could not find any issues. He suggested washing the filters more often (since I have a cat) and ensuring they air out during the winter instead of covering them. Other vendors may have still washed the ACs anyway, so it was great that he inspected my ACs before offering to service them. I would recommend him for any AC services; he was very knowledgeable and thorough during his inspection. read more

My newish AC (2 or 3 y.o.) was blowing warm air on a 85 degree day. I was hoping it could be fixed/cleaned and I found Ihar on Yelp. He came the next day to check it out. Unfortunately, he told me the condenser was blown and I needed to buy a new unit. I asked for a recommendation and he suggested the Midea 12000btu for my place. Amazon took a week to deliver it and I luckily got a same night appointment with him. The charge for installation and removal of my old unit was reasonable. His work and communication was excellent. Ihar knows his craft and I highly recommend him as I write this in a very cool apartment. read more

Needed an ac so bad before the heatwave started. I was panicked but thankfully this business contacted me and was incredibly responsive! He installed 2 AC's quickly and in my apartment that was a million degrees. He went above and beyond to help when my outlet that the ac was supposed to be plugged into went out. He was clean, fast, and so polite! Couldn't have asked for better service on such short notice. read more

I contacted Ihar (Igor) for a quote to remove a very heavy, broken window AC and install a new one. Even on a Sunday afternoon he replied promptly and recommended a replacement I absolutely love. The installation was flawless and finished in under an hour. Couldn't be happier. 10/10 reliable, professional, and highly recommended. read more

Could not recommend Ihar more! We hired him last year to install our Midea unit and he did an incredible job. We had a ton of construction across the street this past year and all the dust and debris made our unit so dirty! When it was time to start using it again this summer we realized it was gross and reached out to Ihar for a cleaning and to install a second Midea unit in the bedroom. He was able to come help us out the day after the unit was delivered (which was like two days after we reached out - super quick which was amazing because it was getting so hot). The appointment went so smoothly! He installed our new unit quickly and perfectly, and did an amazing job cleaning and reinstalling our existing unit. We noticed that the condensation from our old unit was pooling on our window ledge, so he made two (!!) separate trips to a nearby hardware store to buy materials that he used to create two drains for the units to divert the drips off the building. Above and beyond! He's also so kind and truly a delight for what could be an annoying thing to deal with - I highly highly recommend him for all AC maintenance/installation work!! read more

Ihar deep cleaned my 2 aging window AC units today and breathed new life into them. It was WELL worth the price to have him remove and reinstall them, too. My back can't take any more heroic attempts to save a few bucks by doing such things myself. Just as important as the very thorough job he did, is the fact that everything went smoothly with scheduling, he showed up on time, and was friendly and respectful throughout. Exactly what we all require when we let someone unknown enter our home, but don't always get. Ihar and Aircon earned a well-deserved 5 star rating! read more

Amazing service! After my AC of 4 years broke down on a Saturday, Igor was quick to respond and able to come inspect the unit Monday morning. My daughter came home yesterday to find her window AC not working and apartment over 100 degrees. I went online to search for someone to install a new AC unit, even though I hadnt figured out yet where to find one in stock, and miraculously found an ad for Ihar and his partner! Ihar agreed to go to Home Depot himself and purchase a new one. It took him 3 different locations before finding the correct size. He and his partner carried it up 5 flights of stairs to install and removed and disposed of the broken one.
