Cobb Salad

They have a lovely outdoor space. The weather was perfect and the umbrellas at each table are able to block the direct sun. The service was good, it was pretty busy so we did not see our server a ton. The food was great! The pickle chips are a must have starter. Everyone was satisfied with their meals.

Patio on a beautiful day!

Overall good place. Was here on Mothers Day, outdoor patio, nice weather, good food. Really would rate in 3.5 stars but yelp does not allow for some reason, reason being everything was good not great, with the exception of their chicken wings, not to big like they were fed gmo's, not to small either. Not breaded but atill crispy and delicious. I had the grilled salmon on a salad, good but I have had better at other places around that are comparable restuarants. Server was good, also not a beer drinker so..

Okay, this place on the day we came had no staff to serve us so we sat in their beer garden and served ourselves. For us, it actually worked better, we were not disturbed, we enjoyed our food and family time in peace. However, if you want seating call and make reservations ahead of time. Food was delicious, super clean eating options, great food quality, lots of vegetables and clean protein. We ordered hummus from the appetizer menu, and it delivered for sure. It was very flavorful, fresh in my opinion served with chips and cucumber. Ambiance and/or atmosphere was great for us since we were sitting ousted and enjoyed our peace and quiet. I would definitely come back and probably requested to serve myself and enjoy my meal outside in the sun. P.S. My ratings are based on whether I believe I could make a better or healthier version at home. If food/drinks/service impress me, I'll be happy to come back. If not the stars reflect that.

My last time I reviewed North High was after a particularly bad experience. My friends and I had sat on the patio for an hour or so at a table the host seated us at and never had any service. Since then I have always been a little hesitant to visit. Thankfully my last experience was way better. The host was nice and accommodating. We eventually moved to the bar and had excellent service from the bartender. He was very attentive and even gave my friend a small flight size beer for free. I visited North High on a Saturday when they were serving brunch. I ordered Avocado toast and a side of bacon. The breakfast was quite tasty. The toast was light and refreshing and bacon is always good lol. Glad I gave them another chance!

Menu: most recent as of late April 2025 lots of the foods pictured on reviews no longer on the menu

Great just wanted to note the menu has changed a bit since we've been here last. So here is the updated menu

Came here for a girls night and took advantage of the great weather on the patio. We were quickly greeted by our server and started off with some cocktails and the cheese curds. All of it was so yummy! For our entrees we split the chicken tenders and the house salad. It was perfect, and would definitely get it again. We will be back for sure!

I loved the vibe of this place. We got the patio seating and had a great time with friends and didn't even realize that we had spent around 3 hours. The food was amazing, and I loved their north high chicken sandwich, buffalo cauliflower, and bavarian pretzels. The service was quick, and our waiter was sweet & courteous. I would love to come back soon.

They do have a great patio

We had an awful experience here around the holidays. We had booked a party for 20 people and when we show up, they had everything in the wrong place. Not a big deal...what was a big deal was the manager. Absolutely the worst customer service. He made it VERY clear that we were a burden to him. Twenty people....food, drinks and one tab. Didn't matter to him. I vowed to not go back. Today a friend suggested meeting there. I agreed on the idea I'd give it another chance. We waited to be seated (at 2:30 in the afternoon) for several minutes. Finally someone came and promptly stated "looks like I'm the only one working." Our server was delightful and the one beer I had was good. After paying I asked to speak to a manager. Waited and waited and they never came. Was told they would, but they didn't. I think I'm done with this place. I'm shocked at the total lack of customer service. There are lots of options in Dublin. I would certainly consider somewhere else if I were you.

Honey Wheat Hot Chicken Sandwich - very good!

North High is always a good spot. We've been for brunch and happy hour or just for a beer and never had a bad experience! My husband is a fan of their beers and usually they have a sour I will go for or a cider. They have a pretty large patio out front and seating inside, upstairs and downstairs! I will say though, it is very loud inside on the main floor when they are busy. Too loud to hear the person across from you is not my thing so I often try to grab a seat elsewhere in the building if it's busy. Last time we were there, I had the Honey Wheat Hot Chicken Sandwich and it was soooo good! We also enjoy their Fried Pickles and North High Burger. Their Happy Hour is currently Monday - Friday 3-6pm. $2 off: year-round beer, wine by the glass, house cocktails and munchies.

I love happy hour here! Great vibes, great prices and great service. Parking across the street by the library, easy to get to. Try the cheese curds and any of the cocktails! You can even get a cocktail flight :)

Hand Breaded Buffalo Chicken Sandwich

I've had 2 great experiences at North High. First was about a month ago for a happy hour through work. We were using the space shared with CoHatch at the back with the garage doors and bar. Bartender was on top of the drink requests and drinks were delicious. I enjoyed a locally made cider and a margarita. We also had some apps available, the pretzel sticks with beer cheese were really good! Then today we had team lunch (12 people) with reservations. North High was able to seat us right away outside in the shade (it was so nice out today!) and our server was great. I tried the fried/hand breaded Buffalo chicken sandwich and it was very good. Not greasy, the avocado ranch and garlic sauce were great additions. The fries had a great seasoning. Everyone in our party enjoyed their food, the southwestern quinoa salad seemed to be a favorite as well as a variety of tacos. I'll be back for sure to try other menu items.

It's my favorite brewery here in Columbus. The honey wheat lager and north high chicken are their best menu items imo.

Of course the beer is good, however, this is a restaurant, there is no reason for music to be blaring like it's a campus bar

It was hot sitting outside. No fans going. They do have fruity beers on the menu! Great for me since I don't drink heavy beers anymore. Stomach can't stand it and I mentally can't stand the calories. (That's what getting older does to you.) We tried the food. I got the pepperoni pizza with hot honey while my friends tried the Cuban and Sal's (their version of the Italian sandwich). Delicious! Pizza was personal-sized but I still had my friends help me. I can't do tons of dairy. My friend didn't care much for the pizza, but I'm a huge pepp fan. We all know There's trash pizza out there and this is def much better !!! My friends also loved the sandwiches. I def want to try them next time! Staff was super nice. Attentive even though they were busy. Only 2 servers. Overall, great vibes for a Sunday around noon. Not super busy. It was pretty chill. Love it here!

This time they were very busy so we had to sit at the bar which was fine. Even the bar was busy as it was happy hour . I got the mushroom ravioli which was not only good but a large serving . There was a reservation for the 7-top table we were seated at, at 6pm and we were told that might be cutting it too close because they like to allow over 2 hours for a "large" party of six. They seated us anyway, but the vibe was that we needed to understand that we had a limited time. Since we were not having a celebration, we were pretty certain that we wouldn't take two hours to eat. That all seemed super odd to us and we kind of joked with each other about it during the meal. Spoiler alert: we were out in about an hour. I ordered the Shady Legs seasonal specialty cocktail. It had a cucumber soda water and a berry infused vodka and berry simple syrup. It came decorated cute with a flamingo toothpick, but I had to open my own umbrella on it, lol. It was unremarkable and the other person that ordered it agreed. The table shared the Buffalo Cauliflower and Honey Ginger Soy Cauliflower wings. Both were delicious and made just right to not be too raw or too mushy. I and another person got the Sweet Potato Noodles and they were very good and we both agreed we'd order that again. However, we both agreed that we thought it came with actual "noodles" made from sweet potatoes and were not expecting spiralized sweet potatoes. That didn't ruin the meal, because fortunately they were just the right consistency, Everyone seemed to enjoy their meals, but both people wondered the Chickpea Curry said they thought it needed more sauce. As I said, we, with our "large" party were in and out in about an hour, so crisis diverted with the reservation for our table after we left.

I was a bit hesitant going in because it's been years since the last Yelp review -- that lack of recent buzz (good or bad) felt concerning. On a Saturday night, it wasn't overly busy, so we didn't have trouble getting a table (they don't take reservations but do accept call-aheads). I ordered the burger and onion rings, and both were genuinely delicious -- I was very happy with my food. Unfortunately, the experience wasn't as smooth for my friends. One has a severe seafood allergy, and she was shocked to learn that all fried items (fries, onion rings, etc.) are cooked in the same oil as the seafood. It made her nervous to order much else from the menu, and we almost walked out when we found out. A separate fryer or dedicated oil for non-seafood items seems like a basic accommodation these days. Two other friends are recovering alcoholics and were disappointed that the only "non-alcoholic" beer option still contained a slight amount of alcohol. Their only other choice was a sugary mocktail, which isn't great for diabetics either. In 2026, it's surprising that a restaurant/bar still struggles with these common dietary and lifestyle needs. The food we did eat was solid, but the evening felt dampened by the lack of basic accommodations. There are plenty of other places that handle allergies and non-drinkers much better. I would have scored them much higher if they could have accommodated this basics.

I picked Pies & Pints from that list this month. I'll share the good things first. I loved that they took a reservation for me as there were 11 of us coming. Granted, once I got there, I realized it probably wasn't necessary as they had a long row of tables against a wall that easily accommodated groups. Regardless, it's nice to tell the group that we have a spot waiting for us. We were seated right away and service was good. They were fine with us having separate checks. I think that's become easier with the POS technology now, but it's still nice to not get the side eye when you ask for separate checks. The menu is limited - which we all should have been aware of prior to arrival. I sent the link out to the restaurant menu with my monthly invitation so women know what they are signing up for. My case - I only go for the fellowship and just get a diet soda. I intermittent fast and don't eat until after 2 PM daily. Regardless, some of the women must not have paid attention to the menu - even when ordering. At least one was shocked when she got a pizza. It had spinach and other vegetable fixings so when she ordered she was clueless. The food looked excellent. Not traditional pizzas but many white flatbread style pizzas. Even so, most women picked at their food. Maybe a few got boxes to take home the food. No one complained. No one said a word about the food. If they are like me, they are there for the company - not so much the food. I gave three stars based on a bunch of old ladies non preferring pizza. Objectively, the food looked good but do not go here if you're not a pizza person or you're looking for a traditional red sauced pizza.
