To start, service and atmosphere were great. We went for brunch and drinks tasted good but the mimosa did not have blueberries and the Bloody Mary did not have bacon (as indicated on the menu). We were ok with the drinks but then we were served our food. I got the pork belly Benedict and my bf got the egg white frittata. The frittata did not have ANY of the toppings on it (pico/avocado/cilantro, as indicated on the menu) and both of our egg dishes tasted like the chef got the sugar and salt canisters mixed up. They were grossly sweet. North high is great for wings and beer. But if you want a satisfying, yummy, and well-cooked brunch, then definitely go somewhere else. read more

My experience here was odd to say the least. We came in on a Saturday about noon. The service was about average. We asked the server if there was a brunch menu, because according to the website they had one. She looked at us and acted like she had no clue what we were talking about. On the one hand, the food is pretty good, and the beer selection is top-notch. Also, we had great service during our visit a couple days ago. I believe our server's name was Paige, and she was attentive without being intrusive, and she is good with people. I've been here several times, and the service on this trip was the best I've had, by far. The outdoor area is great when the weather cooperates. The problem is with the inside. We sat upstairs and could hardly have a conversation. It is very noisy, and with wooden floors and stairwells, there is nothing to absorb sound. Add to that a very loud couple of kids a few tables away, and it was not a pleasant meal. I'd suggest the owners install something to absorb some of that noise. I have gone here twice now for week day team work lunches and the food and service is always spot on. I like that they accept reservations and the indoor and outdoor patio space has a great feel to it. I ordered the mixed green salad with grilled chicken and it's very fresh with local produce and a good sized portion. They added larger umbrellas on the patio for more shade which I appreciate. Also important to note: they have yummy sweet potato tots as a side! The menu overall is a wide range that has something for everyone. Nice decor and styling. Upon sitting at the bar and watching our cocktails being poured from a premixed container downgraded our experience. Noticed similar reactions for the couple sitting down the bar from us. Turned the up sale of a $12 cocktail into a $4 experience relatively quick. read more

I had to make a trip to the Columbus area to help a friend with here family and I had to find a place to hang for a couple hours so, of course, I looked for a brewpub that would meet my criteria for safety during the pandemic. North High was the place that met most. It opens at 10, earlier than most. It has a tent that is not as enclosed as inside and was quite comfortable in the 45 degree weather even though there were no obvious heaters. I had the IPA while I read my book. The server was very attentive even though she had a table of 7 adults and 5 children. The beer was good and the place never really got crowded. If ever in Dublin again this will be my spot. Not a great visit - so I know this is a brewery, but they also brag about their wines, so when I asked for a taste of their by the glass Chardonnay I was told they "don't do wine tastes" - so I guess you're SOL if you don't like the glass! Hubby ordered the ahi tuna entree rare and blackened. Got well done with no seasoning. To their credit they tried to fulfill (and ultimately took off the bill) on the order but there is no way that fish was wild caught ahi. Not sure we will be back. read more

Put our name in and they told us a 1.5 hour wait. We walk over to pins and as soon as we get there we get a text our table is ready so it was only 15 mins, great! We show up and they seat two couple who just walked in and didn't call ahead, then when we come up they tell us they're booked and to wait for an open seat. We wait 10 mins and they come back and say sorry but they're closing early and can't serve us.... It was only 9:00 but still wasted a bunch of time waiting on these guys only to be turned down and they have our seats to random people showing up.. terrible management and service by these guys. Was excited to try this place, but disappointed. Beer was good, so if you just want a drink, this is great. The food was not. Fries were not hand cut, just something you can get from Kroger's freezer section. My meal wasn't good and I didn't want or ask for anything except to take the meal away. Server didn't offer anything and also left the meal sit in front of me while I finished my beer (15-20 min). Dublin just has too many great places to choose from for food. Some of the best bar food out there! Great appetizers, wings, beer, etc. The atmosphere of the patio in the summer is awesome - they also put heated tents up in the winter, which is super cool. Friendly staff, and I love the convenience of being able to reserve a table online. That's hard to come by with breweries. Went for lunch and found another great go-to for foods or snacks. The decor is bright and clean and the service is amazing. We had a larger party and they were so kind and accommodating to the kids and ensured everyone had what they needed. The burger was very good and would definitely go back for it again. We had a reservation at 7pm on a Thursday night for a party of 8. Two of the people in our party were running late so the rest of us sat down and ordered a round of drinks and appetizers for the table while we waited for the rest of our party. At 7:30pm our server came up to our table to let us know that the kitchen was closing and we had 3 minutes to put in our dinner order. The last 2 members of our party still weren't seated but were parking the car already. They hadn't had a chance to look at the menu and wouldn't be ready to order in 3 minutes. When asked why they were closing so early on a Thursday night, he said that nobody was sitting on their patio so it was too slow to keep open. (It was 90degrees outside and humid so nobody wanted to eat outside.) We ended up leaving without putting in the dinner order but we were incredibly frustrated that they essentially kicked out a large party because business was slow. Was so excited to visit and see what has been changed since Brazenhead left. Very bright, fresh and clean updates - all new paint, some walls cleared out. Definitely feels more open and cheery. It is REALLY LOUD in here though. Not like high energy bar scene loud but deafening I can't even hear my fiancé across from me loud. Okay fine, we can deal. We're not THAT old yet. So I order the charcuterie board. Why would I order that at a brewery? Yeah my mistake. Dumb. It was like someone went to Kroger and got a few bricks of cheese and broke them off with their hands. Also it came out in less than 90 seconds so I'm pretty sure it was sitting in the back for quite some time. Maybe someone before us sent it back as we did. It was that bad. Jelly substitute was like McDonald's nugget sweet and sour sauce dipping sauce or something bizarre. Still can't identify. My fiancé ordered the burger - meh. My son ordered Mac and cheese - meh. And I took a pass on food until we walked across the street to Harvest afterwards. I'd absolutely go back here for a beer or three but would eat somewhere else for sure. read more

I can't tell you the quality of their food because we never received any services. That's correct, no service once were seated. Lol 5 staff members were gathered by the register (we were seated table next to it) busy discussing some topics with some laughters (glad they are enjoying). We did wait and gave time, but only one staff were going in and out of kitchen door while others (group of 5 staffs) still talking by register as if they are ready to call it a day. We read their entire menus twice and had time to talk about what we wanted and how we are going share them. Still not a single person came by or acknowledged us. We left the restaurant without a word. Not sure if they cared or even noticed. No one ever came by asked for drinks or anything. We were forgotten ppl once we were seated. Perhaps only long time locals only, will never know. Yes, I took it personally. It was learning lessons for my kids. I will make sure I'll pass it along among my friends and my community. I've long loved North High's beers, so obviously I was excited for them to open a brew pub on the north side. I'm even more excited that they've expanded their food menu from elevated bar food to legit all around deliciousness!
