What a cool brewery in Dublin. I'll be honest and share that I don't drink beer. However, I do have an appreciation for the art of it. So when a friend wanted to swing by for a beer and a slice of peanut butter pie, I was happy to oblige. We grabbed a seat at the bar and instead of beer, I ordered whiskey, it was a win, win. We were seated outside and it was a perfect night. Our server was attentive and our drinks and food came out to us fairly quickly. My husband and I try "new" places to us we find on Open Table. We finally made it to North High Brewing and so glad we made it! Annie was fabulous. My is the beer expert and enjoyed a couple of popular options. I stuck with glasses of cab. :) Started out with hot wings - OMG so good! Very flavorful, meaty and awesome with sauce. Only thought on this is add more celery we had two for the plate would welcome a couple of more sticks. :) The Blue Cheese was awesome. Oh my word I love this place!!! The interior is absolutely gorgeous. It's warm and inviting and they have tons of seating options. I felt perfectly safe in this time of Covid. I ended up sitting at the bar and I loved listening to the music and enjoying their "Tides" sour while writing some thank you cards. The sour was absolutely delicious. I didn't have time to try more but I was pleased to see that they have an excellent bourbon selection! I also saw their food menu and it looked mighty enticing! I will definitely be back to check it out. They also have a great patio and you can conveniently park in the garage right next door. North High was our neighbor a few years ago when we lived on campus and were so happy to have them as a neighbor again in Dublin! They completely remodeled the old Brazenhead location and it's much more open, light and airy now. People are definitely taking advantage of the huge patio, but indoor seating has great social distancing as well. We decided to sit at the bar, and service was great! The bartender was quick with orders and refills. I love their raspberry sour beer, definitely a new favorite! I opted for the burger for dinner, I like how you can pick one, two or three burger patties. They're pretty thin so it's nice to get the amount you want! My husband opted for the street tacos and said they were really good, but not nearly enough food, they're definitely an appetizer. Overall we can't wait to go back! I visited North High on a Saturday evening, after wanting to try it for a while. The food was fare, the carnitas bowl was under spiced and the rice was dry. Their burger was ok, nothing to make you comeback for more. The service was good, attentive alway checking on us without being pushy or in the way. The restaurant is in an old house, as you walk in on the main level there is the hostess and to the right one lonely table, which seems so out of place. Even the guest dining at the table seemed like they were on display.. very awkward.. The layout is weird at best, behind the hostess is a bar, and up stairs are tables and in the basement is another bar and tables... you feel like you in a your friend's dad's basement bar instead of a restaurant. The furniture is basic, kinds of thrown together and like you'd find in a basement. The location is prime, more effort is needed to make this a must go. read more

Sat on the patio and caught up with some friends over lunch. I enjoyed their brussel sprout appetizer and it renewed my interest in the vegetable. Just stopped by for a couple beers to check the place out and wow, it did not disappoint! The space is gorgeous and decorate perfectly. A bit different vibe than their short north location- I might describe it as a more upscale brewpub look? And they even have a cool "speak easy" type vibe area downstairs with another separate bar. Checked out this place with a friend on a Saturday evening. The area is super fun and popping, with plenty of restaurants, boutique shops, etc. Despite it being a Saturday evening, parking wasn't an issue, I was able to find street parking nearby. But there is also a parking garage nearby. We were seated immediately upon arrival and were given a cute little table upstairs. They had TVs all around playing the game! My friend and I ordered the cocktail flight which included a marg, a mule, a seasonal drink. I also ordered the BBQ Jackfruit Tacos which were surprisingly filling! I wasn't expecting them to be so big or stuffed. This was my first time trying jackfruit and i personally wasn't a fan. It was our first time trying the Dublin location and we were hoping to take advantage of a less crowded patio by going before the dinner crowd and while it was cold outside. They also have a heated tent area if you're not looking to sit inside yet or deal with the weather. Scan a QR code for the menu, or just check out their website ahead of time. They have quite the assortment of food items, so you can definitely have a full meal with your drinks. But if you're looking for some beer and snacks, they have that too. I never say no to a pretzel, and their house cheese and mustard were delicious (may have eaten some out of the container when we were done with the pretzel). Growler fills are reasonably priced too ($15 or so for a fill) if you want to take beer to go. You can also order food to go. It's all online to make it easy. Enjoyed a lovely afternoon lunch after my son's lacrosse game on a sunny Saturday afternoon. There were not a lot of spots left outside, but we managed to get a table that was partly shaded. The weather was gorgeous, so it was pure luck - even at 1:30pm. We are so glad we sat outside! The beers were excellent. The food was quite good as well. The main reason we chose this place was because they opened one in Cincinnati, so I was keen to try out the drink/food at a location in Columbus. The only thing that was not great about our experience was that the restroom just inside the patio smelled pretty terrible - a plumbing issue or something. Perhaps because it's an old building. Had to try it out, The Brazenhead now North High Brewing Co, will follow up with review later. It's later so here is my review, according to their web site the "Brewpubs" grand opening is today (Thursday July16th). Couldn't get out onto the patio as all seats had been reserved so we sat at the bar ( ironically in the same two seat we used to sit at when it was the BH) the bar has that open airy feeling most of these modern brew houses tend to have. No menus are available scan and view on phone for some reason it wouldn't work on my phone but worked fine on my wife's. I was surprised at the ( in my opinion) lack of variation in the beer section no porter or stout maybe that will change in the future, it doesn't seem right a Dublin bar not having at least one stout tap in the end i settled for the Gypsy Boi a Kolch style beer drinkable but nothing more seemed a little light in flavor for me. The food menu has all your typical fare on it with the exception of the Jackfruit first time i've seen that on a bar menu.We did order some munchies ( High Times Nachos with Chicken) nice sized shareable tasty appetizer - some of the other items I noticed coming out of the kitchen looked appetizing, especially the King of The North. ( a whole turkey leg). The staff were attentive, all necessary covid protocols were performed and adhered too. We will return at some time to sample the food menu and hopefully an expanded beer selection. read more

Two parties who ordered at least 20 minutes after us received their appetizers and entrees before us. We had to ask for an update on our food after waiting for 40 minutes because no one noticed. Then when they went to check on it, we were given an excuse that the wings were made wrong and had to be remade. When the food did finally came out, half of it was cold and subpar. I understand mistakes happen, but there was zero apologies, remorse, or action to correct the situation. Outside of that, the service we received wasn't good, period. The bartender never once checked in on us and we had to grab her attention every time we wanted to order a beer, the food, grab the check, etc. Would not recommend. read more

They have a great outdoor space, very friendly servers, and an interesting menu that includes "communal" plates that serve 2-4 (and they are very generous portions). A family of three split the pork belly benedict and cinnamon roll (it was enormous!), and we (luckily) had to take leftovers home. We had a combined wedding and baby shower for two girl cousins, and it exceeded all of our expectations! We enjoyed the downstairs event space and had 40 people. Justin and Christopher we so helpful recommending menu items and the amount of food we needed. The taco bar was a big hit, My husband couldn't stop enjoying the sweet and mildly spicey tomatoe mixture for the tacos. The wraps. the pretzels the sides and the exquisite brownies were impressive. The cook that did our event deserves an award! We even had our own bartenders that provided excellent service. I've been to North High Brewing right in the old downtown Dublin area twice now. It used to be Brazenhead so this is a new location for North High Brewing. The inside of this place is MUCH better than what it used to be. More light, better flow, and more openness. Needless to say they did an excellent job with the layout. The drinks here are great, but the food... well you might want to just stick with drinks. The food is VERY basic, but I remind myself that this is just a "bar" and should not set my expectations to high. The first food item I ordered here was the Vegan BBQ Jack. I don't know what I was thinking, but it just sounded good at the time. Keep in mind now that these are tacos and when they came out, they looked great and tasted great. The biggest problem with this particular food item (I believe) was the jackfruit. It seemed like it had this almost plastic like casing on it and it DID NOT chew up well at all. I'm sitting at the bar with my girlfriend spitting these "plastic" pieces out trying to be discreate as much as possible. The second time around I got the basic chicken tacos and let me tell you what, B-A-S-I-C! At least I could eat these without spitting anything out into napkin after napkin. I want to give this place a third try when it comes to food and after looking at their breakfast menu, my girlfriend and I have decided to go back one morning for breakfast.
