The owners. Staff. Beer selection. Atmosphere. All amazing. Love this place. I recommend Crooked Can for a pleasant experience.

We love crooked can. It is extremely family friendly and with that, I do wish they had a section for adults only. Love seeing the kids having fun but it can be overwhelming when they're screaming or kicking balls around the outdoor space read more

Go to Dojo Dumplings and get the Fury Fries! Don't question it, just do it. We also got bao, pork dumplings and crab Rangoon. Everything was tasty but the crab Rangoons could have had more crab flavor. The filling tasted only like seasoned cream cheese. However, those fury fries?? I will be thinking about them for a while. Order them, and thank me later! read more

Very cool place. Didn't know what we were getting into when we first came - it's a food hall with a brewery. Lots of good food options- we opted for the pizza and I got a salad bowl from the Greek place. Been many times since - great patio space as well. Lots! of parking out back in a massive lit for all downtown area. Every local I know that has been here "oh yea cool spot" . Good for fireworks too - they're behind the building above the park near the Highschool but you can still see them. Really cool space for families, date nights and parties read more

This is a great food hall. I have been to many all over in many different cities. This one has good and affordable food. That is the key to successful food hall. Others suffer from mediocre food at outrageous prices, which defeats the purpose of fast casual in an atmosphere where you serve yourself. Recommended: Extra large flavorful bao buns and dumplings at Fury. Pizzas and meatball subs at Meatball Mafia Mini cheesecakes or other sweet specials at The Cheesecake girl PBJ beers at the brewery. $6.50 on draft, still affordable The only reason I subtract 1 star is lack of comfortable and plentiful seating. Almost every time I've been here we have little to no chance of finding a seat, especially in the winter or rain, which limits outside seating. This is an easy fix. Bravo to a food hall that finally gets it!! read more

We've gone quite a few times with friends and it's a great time! It does get a little loud when it's busy, but it's a lot of fun and we love that there are lots of food and drink options. We have done their trivia and it's fine, we just struggled because there were a lot of non- trivia people there making it hard to hear. read more

Crooked Can Brewery - Here with friends - Brewpubs Near Me - Hilliard, Ohio

Crooked Can feels more like a community meeting space than a brewery, and that isn't necessarily a bad thing. Instead of a strong focus on their beers, Crooked Can feels a bit like a "home" for an entire food court with a bit of an afterthought on their own beers. While this might make for an "odd" experience compared to a standard brewery, it makes for a fantastic experience for social meet-ups. Everyone can find their own food (or alcohol-free) happy place without trying to make everyone agree on a single type of food. PROS: -This really is a space for everyone. If you don't drink alcohol, there's a coffeeshop here. If you don't like a specific style of food, there are multiple other vendors to choose from. If you're on a diet, Norwich Grocery or Pitabilities may have some food that's going to keep you lower calorie while the rest of your group eats their fancy meals. There's really no expectation to "buy beer" here, either, so this place was hopping at 11AM. -A huge, huge space. Crooked Can's "Center Street Market" (as they call it) is gigantic. There's this mini food court with different food vendors inside. There's a bunch of indoor tables. There's this gigantic, fenced-in outdoor area complete with faux grass for kids to play on. There's the DORA right outside this fenced-in area (make sure you drink is in a plastic cup if you plan to leave the fence). On a nice outdoor day, this really is a treat with enough tables and space outside that it feels very "sitting at a park" vibe. -Getting a beer here was smooth and easy. They're on Untappd, and you can easily view their flavors before getting in line. We were able to get a beer in minutes with friendly, helpful service. Beer was a little thinner than I was expecting but still very drinkable and went really well with food. -Pour-your-own-water here as well. You don't have to bother someone or pay for water. Just grab your own water refills as needed. I still consider this a must-have for any establishment selling alcohol. CONS: -This "community space" vibe has one big drawback for me (personally). Tons of kids. You don't often see kid-heavy breweries, but because Crooked Can has more of an appeal for all and a great outdoor area, there are lots of kids running around inside and outside. Being bumped into by kids while carrying trays and beers wasn't ideal, but I also respect everyone having a space to use. Just keep that in mind if you were hoping for adult-type conversations at a place serving 21+ beverages. -Crooked Can is located in a pretty busy part of Hilliard. Parking isn't impossible, but depending on how busy it is around here, you might be looking at a couple of blocks. There's a public, free parking lot right across the street, but we took one of the last few open spots there when we arrived, and the place was even fuller by the time we left. -If you're going for "things to do", the outdoor area here didn't seem to have many games or outdoor activities. You'd probably want to bring your own games to entertain the kids and expect that most of the outdoor area here is for conversing and socializing. read more

What a great place to sit down and have a beer. Located in a small food mall. Plenty of seating available and parking. They have a huge patio outdoors for entertainment and lounging. We went during the winter so we weren't able to take advantage of the patio. Several restaurants in the establishment. The beer was good, but the service from the Beertenders was exceptional. Very friendly, helpful, and attentive. The beer itself was solid. Several varieties, including IPA, fruit beers, darker selections etc. Really the entire plaza is worth checking out. We'll definitely be back when warmer weather comes around. read more

Love, love, love this concept! A dozen or so various food vendors inside of the central location. We have something like this in the Des Moines IA area (The Hall), but it's not near this good...! We settled on lunch from The Meatball Mafia, but you can find everything you might desire. Coffee, comfort food, Italian, Asian, sandwiches, baked goods, desserts, etc. And adult beverages! There is a large parking lot not far away and plenty to shared seating space inside as well as a large outdoor courtyard. If you are in Hilliard for ANY reason the Crooked Can Brewery and it's Center Street Market are a MUST stop at destination! https://www.crookedcanohio.com/center-street-market read more

One of our favorite places to meet up with friends. They offer great variety of drinks and there are many food options to choose from. Everything you need in one place. The bar service moves quickly, even when it is busy. It is a great place to hang out if you have kids as well. There is a grassy area for kids to play at and also the splash pad is out there too. read more

Been to this place twice now. Both were great experiences. Would recommend this place for everyone. Food was great both times. Drinks were great too! Plan to go back soon!! read more

Pros: the bartender are great. There are food options which is nice if you have a group that can't pick where to eat. It's good if you have a group. There's live music some nights and they have heaters outside for the chillier evenings. Cons: while blocking the street is a cool if you have someone with mobility issues it is quite a hike from parking to the brewery. read more

This place is VERY cool! There are several places to eat inside: Dumplings of Fury, Bakes by Lo, the Cheesecake Girl, Rime Time, Hot Mess, Al's (popcorn), Meatball Mafia, Coffee Connections, Two Step Tacos, and Pitabilities. We wanted to try the taco place but no one was there? (Odd) (We checked, they were open) Other than that we tried Dumplings of Fury and Hot Mess (both were yummy!) The Cheesecake girl is amazing! We tried Bakes by Lo too but we were not impressed (it is more light desserts with a very limited menu (cookies/brownies). We love the set up, it is similar to Budd Dairy and North Market (which are two other places we love). We are excited to come back to this location and try more! What a fun and different set up!!! read more

Beautiful set up inside the market which I'm guessing is the staple of the location. Tried the High Stepper IPA, which was very good. They don't serve food but inside the market there is plenty of food options to mix wonderfully with their beer. Bought a pint glass to add to the collection at home. Great place! read more

Really enjoyed the Crooked Can. Beer was very good and food court selection was excellent. Con: The music was way too loud. You could not have a conversation without having to yell at the people at the table. It was also trivia night and the guy had a microphone and we could not talk over him either. We asked if they could turn it down a little which was not well received. We had planned to stay later but the noise level was ridiculous and a real problem. read more

This brewery should be a 4.5 due to the beers but I am ok giving it a 5. The facility is amazing. Huge indoor and outdoor space. Good beer selection but nothing too extreme/crazy on the menu. There are a lot of great food options that you can order and bring out to the patio. Excellent service at the ordering counter. read more

Can't believe I hadn't done my review for this place. We spent a lot of time here this summer and fall since they have an amazing outdoor space and it makes things easier with covid and friends who are concerned eating indoors. The patio space is AMAZING. So much room. So many tables. Walk up bar so you don't have to even go inside if you don't want to. They always have a cocktail or two on tap. Heads up they are not made to order. They are premade and poured to order. My husband loves the beers. The staff is already really nice. Tons of space indoor and outdoor to sit. They have 3 bars so there is never a long wait for drinks. Patio is pet friendly which we love. Love seeing all of the pups having a good time too. Definitely a fun place to hang out. read more

Such a cool place! This huge brewery has 3 different bars selling different brews on tap! There is a huge patio outside that accommodates even the biggest group! I went when it was really cold and they had a huge gas fire pit with lava rocks going outside for people to hang out around. But the inside is so spacious, allows plenty of social distancing and has a variety of restaurants within the same building. I got some homemade Asian dumplings and then sat down to a flight Can't wait to come here when I can sit outside! read more

I had an excellent red ale, the name of which I immediately forgot, and really enjoyed the patio seating. They do have heaters, which is a nice touch for the fall, and they allow dogs, which makes me happy. In addition to the brewery, the space has a couple of food stalls ranging from dumplings to burgers, which makes it an excellent COVID-safe hangout space for dinner with friends. read more

Way too loud. I have to tell to the people I'm sitting right next to. Very frustrating. Outside is better but still loud sometimes.

Our first time and we had a blast. The beer was great and the food options were good. There were six adults and four kids so there was a nice variety for everyone's liking. Pork gyoza, fried chicken, sweet potato fries, egg roll and pizza topped off with a box of giant cookies. The kids loved the splash pool and we loved the beer. Great way for an adult father and a son to celebrate their 45th and 76th birthday with family. read more

As first time visitors, the bartenders were friendly & helpful. The place is massive & has a large outdoor space which is perfect on a sunny day. Stopped here during our Ale trail. The inside was really nice and open. There was plenty of seating as well as a huge patio for outside drinking/dining. It was also attached to the food hall which gives people some different restaurants to try. The Shandy was a good summer beer pick. The black cherry was a nice crisp seltzer tasting. The most interesting beer was the Orange milkshake. It was a thicker drink, with a nice orange flavor. read more

A great place to enjoy social distanced drinking with friends. The patio is a huge space and has a little area set aside for kids to play. The inside of the building is equally large and has many areas that are open to help ventilate the building during covid times. Several days a week the area around the brewery offers Designated Outdoor Refreshment Area (aka DORA.) DORA adds to the ability to drink while maintaining a safe social distance because you can take your beer outside of the patio and walk around the nearby shops and foodstops. Not to mention DORA is just a lot of fun! I have only been to Crooked Can once so far, but both the beers I tried were pretty good. I had their Oktoberfest and a coconut stout. I would recommend getting either, but the coconut stout if you are picking between the two. read more

Best place in Hilliard! Huge patio and spacious inside make it easy for social distancing. The market has many food options, coffee, shopping, desserts, etc. Order your food from a vendor and get your craft beer from the brewery. Wonderful concept! The staff is very knowledgeable about their brews and even though the brewery is out of some of their beers, that's a good thing, it means they are selling out because it's fantastic beer! Talk to your bartender about what they would suggest for you, they are happy to provide a sample or two so you can try before you buy. Love this brewery and market. It is my go-to place! read more

It's finally open. A new brewery in Old Hilliard with lots of space to sit and sample their brews on tap. When the rest of the building opens next month, the tenants will have food to purchase and can be brought into the brewery. Our bartender Brooke was awesome today. She explained everything and answered our questions. I had a flight for $10, and my husband had a glass of Cloud Chaser. They also have wine, White Claw and soda. In the warmer months the garage doors will be open to the patio and picnic tables. There is a walk-up window to accommodate folks outside and the people who attend DORA this summer.
