So it had been a while about 3 years since coming to north county. Decided to come again and try their tacos. Omg it's like they did not miss a step. The tacos are great and the now make tortillas fresh made to order! Stepped up there game so good! The Rajas tacos are so good! Highly recommend it! They f you get a shot of tequila make sure to have there chaser, pineapple, Serrano, cilantro and mint! Yes it's good! Just ask for a shot of it even with out th tequila is so tasty! Happy hour and daily specials are great! We are coming back!

Love the atmosphere at North County. You've got a cute little spot for outdoor seating and an open indoor space. Food is fantastic. It's been a while since I've had tamales and if this is what I've been missing out on then shame on me because they had me drooling. There was no crumb left behind. Service was great and attentive until we were trying to leave. Took a while for the check and to pay, but overall was pleased with our experience.

This is one of my favorite local spots! I've tried every option for the fish tacos, and they are delicious! The margs are so reasonably priced (even during non-happy hours), and they bring you the rest of the shaker so it's a pretty big one.

We had a fine time at North County. We were seated really quickly and the waiter had no problem with our party showing up at different times. We had items from the late Night menu which included items for $3. The $3 margaritas packed a punch! The food was average. Good, but not over the top. I'd suggest this place if you are in the Lowry area meeting up with friends for a quick meal. The ambiance is fun and light. We enjoyed our experience. The service was the best overall in our experience.

This place has a great happy hour and solid food! We have been several times and have tried many of the appetizers on the happy hour menu, all of which have been good. This visit, we had -Nachos ($7.25 during happy hour): they come loaded with toppings and are layered to distribute the toppings nicely. We tried them with roasted chicken on one and chicken tinga on the other, and the tinga was slightly better. -Charcoal grilled oyster: just okay, would skip this next time. It had a lot of poblanos on it but still managed to be a bit bland -Baja chicken sandwich: this was great. The breading was very light but crispy, and the spicy slaw and creamy aioli worked very well together. The fries that came with it were also very crispy and were pretty good. -Build-your-own burger with pepperjack cheese, pickled onions, and candied bacon: the patty was cooked to medium and was well-seasoned. The service was quick, and they have a cute patio area. Overall, the food was good and the prices were very reasonable. They have daily seafood specials, which we plan to try next time.

Fried Plantains & Ice Cream - perfect ending!

An unassuming taco spot, in the seemingly middle of nowhere, almost thought we were in the wrong place ... though it's basically around the corner from Wings over the Rockies. I cannot say enough about this place. Great atmosphere with thoughtful decor. Wonderful and knowledgeable servers, drinks on point and oh the food! I'm still dreaming about the ceviche. I've had a lot of tacos in my day, but this place is really special. Don't skip the dessert, the Fried Plantains & Ice Cream are a perfect ending! I hope we get the chance to go again someday.

North County has great Happy Hours throughout the week! One of my favorite places to meet friends for good food and a fun atmosphere. The prices are on point and friendly service. If you need a casual and easy spot to hang out, consider North County. There is plenty of parking as well.

I've always wanted to check out this revamped area of the AFB I used to work at years ago. I passed by the establishments when i went to other establishments there and I was in the neighborhood last night and i finally made the plunge to try the food. It was a pleasant experience. I had their big bowl with carne asada and was definitely determined to eat it all and it was so good i achieved my self style challenge. The margaritas I had were tasty as well. The only thing I didn't like was i initially wanted their enchiladas dish with carne asada but they said the beef will be put on top of the enchiladas and not inside. I couldn't fathom eating it like that but I'll guess I'll try it next time. The service was great and questions answered without attitude. Also a great spot for Pokémon.

Overall, a good experience. We were seated fairly quickly but once the food came our waitress didn't come back for a long time. Hubby tried to order a local beer on draft but she advised us that they didn't have any as they were leaning more towards "California" cuisine. Their Saturday special was crab and shrimp enchiladas and they were very creamy and cheesy. Very little crab meat inside. Ahi tuna bowl - was good. Tasted like any other. Kid nachos consist of just cheese Nacho appetizer are a good portion for one or a shareable appetizer. A pro is that they have EV chargers.

Coming on a Wednesday night for date night and we didn't need a reservation. Being from Southern California this is very decent California Mexican food (not traditional Mexican food). Love the theme of the restaurant - very beachy and reminds me of home!! They have indoor and outdoor patio seating, we were seating almost immediately. Our server was on top of it! Bringing out our drinks and food very quickly! It all tasted quick good and had delicious flavor. I did take off one star because of the the strange fees along with the lack of chips and salsa. That is pretty standard for a Mexican restaurant. Overall I would come back! 4/5 stars

North County is in Lowry in a plaza next to other restaurants and a nice area. It's a restaurant based out of San Diego. I came on a Monday night and it was pretty empty. I heard about their late night menu and was excited to try! Service was good. I felt like we were taken care of well. Our waitress was attentive and kind. We started off with the Queso Fondido without the chorizo since my company is vegetarian. It was fine, I liked the burnt cheese that was at the bottom. However, it didn't feel like it was anything special. It was a bit plain. We got the three dollar margaritas off of their late night menu. Although they're small portions they do pack a punch. The value for what you get it pretty great. I got two tacos. The birria taco and the mahi mahi taco. The birria taco was fine, again, nothing special and I've had better at plenty other places. The mahi mahi was better though. It had a good sauce that compliments the fish well. Overall, it was fine. Nothing that would make me want to return other than the $3 margaritas.

Despite the current ratings of less than 4 stars, I somehow was determined that this place would not disappoint. And my hunch was right; it didn't. We did make a reservation ahead of time. Upon arriving, we were asked if we wanted to sit inside or outside to which we said inside (for a mid-October evening, the temperature outside was decent and yet we weren't sure about sitting outside the whole time. We made the right call. Occasionally the cool breeze came in from the side door at the bar (as it was left open; they said once closed it locks so it would inconvenience the people out in the open deck area to leisurely come in) and it felt a bit cold to our liking.) Inside was lively. The beautiful modern-looking lounge was filled with all kinds of chitchat by other guests. Our conversation was sometimes canceled by it where we had to talk into our ears but we certainly didn't mind it. Yes, the ambiance is what you come here for. He got the Juicy Bits IPA and I got the French red blend (Grenache and Cote du Rhone). We browsed the food section in the menu. Some looked interesting but we ended up not ordering anything as even though we ate lightly at the first restaurant we were still quite full from it. Our waiter (young male, I believe his name was Payton) was busting his bottom. When he was at our table taking our order he said he was pretty much the only one who was assisting with the guests in the main indoor area. He occasionally got help from his colleague. It appeared to be an understaffed night. We completely understood. Payton, you were pleasant to us; thank you. We truly enjoyed our drinks. FYI - Juicy Bits IPA is not on tap so even though they poured it into a glass the server couldn't pour everything into it so he brought the can as well (btw, it's a 16oz can.) As much as I enjoyed my bold red wine his IPA stole the spotlight at our table. He is a beer guy and he couldn't help but taking a photo of the can for future purposes/purchase. Juicy Bits is a local craft beer made in Greeley. Quite refreshing beer indeed. Well, we sat in our comfy couch for an extended period of time from 6:30 to 9pm. We both stepped outside to the open deck area for a quick view earlier in our dining experience. And we must say that this is one of the best rooftop restaurants we've been to in the Denver area. We shall be back.

We were hyping up the place and food. We arrived and we had sat next to the pool tables hoping to eventually get a game in ourselves. That part never happened because the same people that were playing when we arrived never left the tables so others can play. We waited a while before a server, Diana, walked over and took our drink order. She came back with our drinks and ordered the wrong thing for one of our friends. He said he would still drink it but asked for the correct one going forward. We then ordered an appetizer while sipping our drinks and chatting. Our drinks were empty and we had to flag her down to order a new round and to order our dinner. I asked about the mini tacos since I noticed they were no longer on the menu. She said they still had them available even though they were listed. Awesome! The food did take some time to come out and we asked about the appetizer that still hadn't arrived and my tacos hadn't either. She said the jalapeno poppers were just being cooked and said the tacos should be out shortly. Everyone else started eating. I waited. You could tell she was actively trying to avoid our table. We flagged her down again to a third round of drinks and check on the tacos and appetizer. She said she would go check on them. Everyone else finished their food. I waited. She brought out our drinks and we asked again about the tacos and appetizer. She apologized and said they actually cannot make the tacos and that she would check again on the app. We asked her to cancel the app and I order eggrolls. I figured something fast because at this point everyone is irritated and I was hungry. She said she would discount our bill and cancel the poppers. As she walked away the poppers arrived. I will say, they were amazing! The only good thing about this whole incident. My eggrolls arrived and they were gross. Honestly not good at all. We asked for our bill and there was no discount. I questioned it and she said she had to talk to her manager. When she came back she had taken 2 drinks off the tab. I felt like that was nothing for this whole issue, but whatever. A separate incident, we walked in the other night to just stop in and have a drink. We went to sit at the bar but there were no 2 seats together except two next to one lady who claimed the beer sitting in front of one seat was for someone who said he was coming back. We sat at the bar seating that faces the rest of the restaurant. We heard the bartender argue with a patron who asked about his beer and she snapped at him that she was getting it. We waited and waited. Then we saw the bartender take the shot glass away that was next to the almost done beer next to the original lady so we thought he was gone. Walked back up and the lady rudely said, I told you he said he will be back. We went back to the bar seating and waited. We never got contacted or even looked at by anyone on the staff so we left. This is literally 2 incidents in a row and the staff is looking pretty bad.
