Came in for happy hour. The patio is really nice to sit at when the weather is good but doesn't offer too much shade in the afternoon so just be aware. They have a nice happy hour and we sampled just about 1 of each thing on the HH menu. The highlight was the loaded fries and the Elote while the worst item was the beef tostada which was just super basic and boring and I wouldn't order it ever again. Drinks were good and I enjoyed their happy hour deals on house margaritas, beer and shot on a good deal. Service was nice but a little slow on the patio. Though I adored Logan Street, I am happy with this new iteration of Pancho Poncho! You really can't go wrong with mexican, in my opinion. Hubs and I dropped in for HH and an early dinner on Saturday (since PP continues the everyday HH tradition) and started off with the house margs and chips and salsa. The chips could be a tad salty with the seasoning added, but I still gobbled them up. The creamy green salsa is delicious! The margs are really tasty too and we had another round! We also tried the carne asada and pastor torta sliders (carne asada is better- but I don't know that I'd get either one again), the pastor tacos (very good!), the elote corn dip (delicious), and the nachos with carne asada. Stopped in yesterday evening for happy hour drinks and dinner. Showed up at 5:30 in time to take advantage of the HH menu. We were seated right away. This spot is in the previous Logan Street restaurant location (and previous before that, Governors Park). The decor has been updated a bit to reflect more of a southwestern vibe. On a Thurs night for dinner service, it wasn't very busy. Our server took good care of us and recommended a few things on the menu. We had frozen margs, carne asada nachos and then for dinner the quesabirria and fish tacos. Our margs were yummy and I loved the carne asada on the nachos. Super tender and well seasoned. My fish tacos were good. My son enjoyed his quesabirria. The rice and beans were okay. Being plain, everything was good. No complaints about the food, but the issue is that I could have gotten everything we ordered at a number of other Mexican restaurants. I am sure it's a bit of sour grapes on my part, but the previous menu at Logan Street was unique and you couldn't find it anywhere else. The new menu is very similar to things you can get all over town. I'll come back to try more of the menu, but overall I'm disappointed. read more

First timer. All was good. The receptionist was friendly, the waitress was attentive and helpful, and the food was good - - very good. It was nice to have the warm corn chips and to have red and green salsas placed on the table to start the evening. They have a tequila of the week. A nice surprise was that the tequila was a top shelf label and the silver margarita was only $10.00. Si Senor ( I can't get a tilde to show up to place over the "n" of Senor). The chilli rellenos we ordered were excellent. A co- owner of the business, Joe, came to the table to check up on us as we were finishing our meal. Excellent spot! While I loved Logan Street, Pancho Poncho packs a punch with flavorful food, friendly service, and a laid-back atmosphere. The prices are great for the portion you get and the menu is quite diverse! As someone on a gluten-free meal plan, this restaurant went above and beyond to accommodate my needs! The chips are naturally gluten-free and fried in a separate fryer than other gluten products. The enchilada entree (DELICIOUS) was prepared with a corn tortilla and was big enough to eat for dinner and then lunch the next day! The house marg was top-notch for $10. The icing on the cake, however, was our waitress. She was so enthusiastic and positive about our dining experience, very familiar with the menu, and gave us extra chips to go! We loved Logan Street Restaurant, we're avid regulars, but wow! They stepped it up a notch. Food: (1) Chips/salsas: come complimentary and have such great flavor! The creamy jalapeño is super spicy but beautifully complex (2) Queso: So good! Drool worthy. Must get (3) Ribeye a la parilla: incredibly deep, rich flavors with the steak seasoning and chimichurri. They give you tortillas to maybe make your own taco but don't! It just distracts from the incredible flavors of the ribeye. Went in with very mid expectations after being disappointed by other trendy Mexican places (looking at you, Senor Bear) and were actually blown away. Service was excellent, and the food was lowkey incredible. We shared the small elote dip (elote is always a hit) + ribeye + marisco molcajete, and downed almost the entire basket of chips + salsa (husband even needed some of that green sauce to go and they delivered). We ended up also ordering churros to go (easily reheated in the microwave, who knew) and this was like, the first time I've ever *truly* raved about churros (I think because this time they were really dense, which I loved). I thought it was going to be pretty small based on the building but the restaurant is pretty spacious and just kept going on and on. Service was great and our server (can't remember her name) checked up on us throughout the night but wasn't annoying. I loved the tortilla chips they served, they had a chili lime seasoning on it which was a little too salty for me (spoiler: Im a sodium hound) but I feel like that also kept me in check because them paired up with the red and green salsa could have been my entire meal! Tried this place 6:30pm Saturday night. It wasn't crowded for that time and we were seated right away. Got chips and salsa to start. The green is super spicy , the red was just ok. I got the enchiladas with chicken and green sauce. The plate was a mess to eat, the enchiladas were falling apart and just overstuffed. Also didn't love the green sauce it had a bit more spice than I like. The rice and beans were just ok. My guest for the Branzino with green and red sauces on side and also was just ok. Not anything wrong with it but not amazing my any means. The standard margarita was tasty. Pricing wasn't terrible my enchilada were $16 and the margarita was only $9. Would I come back here? The best new Mexican spot in Denver! Everything was amazing. The service 10/10, the chips and salsa 10/10, the drinks 20/10, the entrees 10/10. The margs were so delicious and they make their own tajin! We also enjoyed some of the Pinot Grigio they have - highly recommend pairing it with the jalapeño crema. We loved our server. She recommended the fish tacos which were the favorite of the night! All of the proteins were marinated very well. Joe came out several times to check in and make sure everything was going well - he's the best! Their queso is the best queso I've ever had. I would go back just for the queso and chips. My roommate and I decided to stop in for dinner since we were craving Mexican cuisine and noticed this location had just opened. Everyone has their own experiences but I believe everything that was presented to us as restauranteurs were excellent. We ordered several items - Amargo De Pomelo - Blanco Queso w/ Chorizo addition - Carne Asada Enchilada Plate w/ Red & Green Sauce - Camarones Momias - Horchata Brûlée Everything was DELICIOUS. I could have drank that queso it was so good. The carne asada in the enchiladas were great and the choice of double sauce was perfect to enjoy. The shrimp wrapped in bacon were cooked perfectly and topped with a savory seafood poblano cream that topped it off. You MUST get the Horchata brûlée, my roommate only had two bites because I couldn't stop eating it. This location is a beautiful brick building at the corner of Logan and 7th. Came here for dinner with a friend and was underwhelmed by the atmosphere, manager on duty and quality of the food. The food was highly greasy and it left 2 of us with bloating and stomach aches after. Initially we waited a bit before a waitstaff greeted us. The waitress who ended up helping us was attentive, although seemed to be expected to care for our table and manage the bar, which seemed a bit unreasonable. The male who addressed us initially and I'm guessing was the manager, was impatient, lacked awareness of how his behavior impacted others (at one point he used explicit language towards one of the cooks at the grill near our table) and was dismissive of the waitress who was helping us when feedback was provided of her positive service (did not seem like a cohesive team). We don't plan to return here due to the experience both with the atmosphere, male manager and food quality. read more

Tacos - share them with the trash. Store bought flour tortillas. Uncle Ben's rice. Drinks - the bartender was the same and his drinks were delicious despite the restaurant. Atmosphere - let's hang some fedoras and cliche Mexican art from Temu on the walls and keep all the Italian decor from Logan Street. No server had tasted the food. They couldn't give recommendations. Seven of my friends and I met here for happy hour on a Tuesday afternoon. It was still early, so we had no problem getting a table. I was the first one there and the server immediately set the tables with water, chips & salsa, and took my drink order. I ordered the Reposado Espresso martini. It was incredible. I'll definitely miss some stuff about Logan Street Denver but the conversion to Panch Pocho is pretty great! You can definitely tell what a difference having the input and investment of the BOH staff makes. I think I read that they went over like 20 different family Green Chile recipes from the entire kitchen staff before they settled on one. It shows! The bar program is also super solid!!! Went when they were just opening, and went back the next day for the grand opening! Went for birthday dinner with a big group a week or two ago and they were super accommodating. Everyone loved their food, server was on top of everything. I haven't had bad food or drink here. Service is always good even when they're busy. The big hits were the beautiful outdoor patio and awesome happy hour (daily from 3-6pm!). I got the house frozen margarita and it was STRONG in the best way--definitely worth the $6, especially for happy hour. We received complimentary chips and red/green salsa for the table. The al pastor tacos were tasty, though a bit on the smaller side (go ahead and order 3). The green salsa that came with the tacos was my favorite! While they didn't have a kids menu yet, the chef was kind enough to whip up a smaller bean and cheese burrito that my two kids shared.
