Happy Hour pastor tacos - tasty!
    Andrea K.

Though I adored Logan Street, I am happy with this new iteration of Pancho Poncho! You really can't go wrong with mexican, in my opinion. Hubs and I dropped in for HH and an early dinner on Saturday (since PP continues the everyday HH tradition) and started off with the house margs and chips and salsa. The chips could be a tad salty with the seasoning added, but I still gobbled them up. The creamy green salsa is delicious! The margs are really tasty too and we had another round! We also tried the carne asada and pastor torta sliders (carne asada is better- but I don't know that I'd get either one again), the pastor tacos (very good!), the elote corn dip (delicious), and the nachos with carne asada. Their carne asada is quite tasty and the nachos had a fair amount of toppings for HH. I'd definitely return here for more HH and other treats.

Blood Orange Margarita.... Repeat after me....Blood Orange Margarita. That alone is worth visiting Pancho Poncho.. But the food is really good too. Great portions and flavor. Steak fajitas were great Three taco platter was great Enchiladas are great. Great guac and caso dip. So you see I like the place. Great ambiance and really nice service. Go...you will like it!!!!

super fun vibe in here, and very spacious. there's plenty of seating, organized in different sections. the decor is nice and i really enjoyed the lighting. the happy hour is seriously worth it... 2 huge tostadas for $8!! and $7 margaritas :)) and very timely service. everything was delicious... my friend and brother really enjoyed their meals as well. the refried beans were especially yummy.

Stopped in yesterday evening for happy hour drinks and dinner. Showed up at 5:30 in time to take advantage of the HH menu. We were seated right away. This spot is in the previous Logan Street restaurant location (and previous before that, Governors Park). The decor has been updated a bit to reflect more of a southwestern vibe. On a Thurs night for dinner service, it wasn't very busy. Our server took good care of us and recommended a few things on the menu. We had frozen margs, carne asada nachos and then for dinner the quesabirria and fish tacos. Our margs were yummy and I loved the carne asada on the nachos. Super tender and well seasoned. My fish tacos were good. My son enjoyed his quesabirria. The rice and beans were okay. Being plain, everything was good. No complaints about the food, but the issue is that I could have gotten everything we ordered at a number of other Mexican restaurants. I am sure it's a bit of sour grapes on my part, but the previous menu at Logan Street was unique and you couldn't find it anywhere else. The new menu is very similar to things you can get all over town. I'll come back to try more of the menu, but overall I'm disappointed.

I've only been for happy hour, but it's great! A great selection of food and drinks. We sat on the patio. It was perfect, but the inside is super cute as well! We cannot wait to go back and try their full menu! Service was slow, and they weren't that busy, but to be fair everyone has an off day so it wouldn't stop me from going back.

Tried this place 6:30pm Saturday night. It wasn't crowded for that time and we were seated right away. Got chips and salsa to start. The green is super spicy , the red was just ok. I got the enchiladas with chicken and green sauce. The plate was a mess to eat, the enchiladas were falling apart and just overstuffed. Also didn't love the green sauce it had a bit more spice than I like. The rice and beans were just ok. My guest for the Branzino with green and red sauces on side and also was just ok. Not anything wrong with it but not amazing my any means. The standard margarita was tasty. Pricing wasn't terrible my enchilada were $16 and the margarita was only $9. Would I come back here? I don't know, wasn't blown away but maybe just off night?

The best new Mexican spot in Denver! Everything was amazing. The service 10/10, the chips and salsa 10/10, the drinks 20/10, the entrees 10/10. The margs were so delicious and they make their own tajin! We also enjoyed some of the Pinot Grigio they have - highly recommend pairing it with the jalapeño crema. We loved our server. She recommended the fish tacos which were the favorite of the night! All of the proteins were marinated very well. Joe came out several times to check in and make sure everything was going well - he's the best! Their queso is the best queso I've ever had. I would go back just for the queso and chips. The elote and shrimp ceviche were also amazing. We were lucky to get the last table outside! The patio was full but plenty of space between tables so it didn't feel overcrowded. I can't wait to see this place thrive. Going back asap!

Wow is all I can say. Pancho Poncho is the perfect addition to the neighborhood. My roommate and I decided to stop in for dinner since we were craving Mexican cuisine and noticed this location had just opened. We are so glad we did even though there might have been some lower reviews prior. Our experience was great and we enjoyed everything from food/service/ambiance. Everyone has their own experiences but I believe everything that was presented to us as restauranteurs were excellent. We were immediately greeted upon entering and sat immediately in the beautiful patio space along Logan St. Our waitress Lilly/Lily (sorry if I spelled it wrong) was great, friendly and outgoing. We ordered several items - Amargo De Pomelo - Blanco Queso w/ Chorizo addition - Carne Asada Enchilada Plate w/ Red & Green Sauce - Camarones Momias - Horchata Brûlée Everything was DELICIOUS. I could have drank that queso it was so good. The carne asada in the enchiladas were great and the choice of double sauce was perfect to enjoy. The shrimp wrapped in bacon were cooked perfectly and topped with a savory seafood poblano cream that topped it off. You MUST get the Horchata brûlée, my roommate only had two bites because I couldn't stop eating it. This location is a beautiful brick building at the corner of Logan and 7th. Plenty of tables and space to enjoy your dinner with friends or family. We will be back to try more items soon!

The worst thing that could have happened. Logan Street was always busy and the food was delicious. Now let's swap it with another sub par Mexican joint - the LAST thing Denver or this neighborhood needed! Salsa - might as well be a jar of Picante. Chips are from a giant bag. Tacos - share them with the trash. Store bought flour tortillas. Uncle Ben's rice. Drinks - the bartender was the same and his drinks were delicious despite the restaurant. Atmosphere - let's hang some fedoras and cliche Mexican art from Temu on the walls and keep all the Italian decor from Logan Street. No server had tasted the food. They couldn't give recommendations. She literally said "it's my first day at the new restaurant. I don't know the menu yet." What I'm excited about: This place won't last long at this pace. The patio was empty. Inside was maybe 40% capacity.

I saw my friend post the watermelon and burrata and HAD to give it a try. Not going to lie I was a little disappointed, but I think it would be a really good combo if it's seasoned correctly. The rest of the food was really good! We got to sit outside on the patio which sits on Logan street so lots of action. Our waitress was super friendly and made conversation with us. She said she had been there for a while and really enjoyed working for the company which is always nice to hear from the employees.

The food was delicious! We got $2 chips and salsa off the happy hour menu and the queso con soyrizo (not on HH menu) which was served with warm tortillas. Honestly we probably didn't need all that because the tacos were so good I could've just filled up on more of the tacos, but still was a great meal! I ordered the lengua, pastor, and taco special (breaded shrimp). They were all so good. Think taco quality of a good street taco spot but with the ambiance of a cute tex mex bar. The bartender was great and made a solid marg ($8 on happy hour). You get a great deal on taco Tuesday but I'm sure you'd get great service and quality any day of the week!

I grabbed a seat at the bar where the bartender was friendly and engaging. On a recent Wednesday at 7:15, the restaurant was packed. When I left around 8:30, it was still busy. That's usually the best review a restaurant can get. Loyal customers don't keep coming back out of habit. They come back because it feels like home. The all-day happy hour margarita for $9 certainly doesn't hurt. The second one arrives before you've had time to argue yourself out of it. I ordered the enchiladas with carne asada and their house mole. If you're expecting one of those intensely complex moles with enough ingredients to fill a pantry, this isn't that. Adelitas' version is comforting, approachable, and deeply homey. It tastes less like a culinary experiment and more like something your abuela has been making for decades. The carne asada was tender, the rice and beans were exactly what they should be, and every bite reminded me why comfort food never goes out of style. Before leaving, I made the smartest decision of the evening. Tres leches to go. I devoured it later at home while Netflix asked if I was still watching. The cake somehow manages to be light while completely satisfying. Don't skip it. Better yet, don't pretend you're saving it for tomorrow. Adelitas isn't trying to impress you. It's trying to feed you well, welcome you warmly, and send you home happier than when you arrived. Whether your abuela was Mexican...or Greek...you'll understand exactly what they're serving here.

Although some tables were occupied, the restaurant was far from busy. After the receptionist sat us in/at one of the spacious booths, our waitstaff immediately came to us to greet us. What we got tonight were: -Spicy Mango Ceviche ($17) -Bean and Cheese Burrito ($9) -Crispy Sweet Potato Tacos ($16) -Brown Sugar Caramel Flan ($9) for to-go If I go ahead and rank them from the best to the least good (LOL) here it is: 1. Crispy Sweet Potato Tacos - Simply exquisite. Vegetarian (possibly vegan) dish which you don't have to compromise your satisfaction or craving. Not only what's inside the tortilla but the tortilla itself was also amazing. It's a corn kind. We have never tasted anything like this before. 2. Spicy Mango Ceviche - Good portion for the price. The spiciness is noticeable but anybody can handle this level of heat. A visible amount of shrimp was evident in it. The mango pieces were diced a bit smaller than what I would want to see and taste but all in all, this is a solid dish as well. 3. Brown Sugar Caramel Flan - I took a bite of it later when we were home. Candidly stating, it wasn't as great as I hoped would be as it somewhat lacked that typical flan flavors. It also wasn't dense enough. It was passable with adequacy and acceptableness is the best way to describe it. 4. Bean and Cheese Burrito - Was my least favorite dish for the night and yet, this too, wasn't a bad dish. If you are vegetarian, then this definitely is one of the safest bets you can choose from the menu. If I am to order this again, however,I will ask for a little modification: add cilantro rice to it. I am pretty sure this should easily be done at a place like Blanco; I have no doubt. The restaurant is spacious in both the main dining area and the bar. The bar was empty except for one solo guest that sat in the center of it.
