Nordstrom Rack used to be a great place to go and find decent values with Nordstroms service and image. Now it is the no service, stores looking like the "Nike Seattle premium outlets day after thanksgiving fiasco" where no one cares. Staff do not smile, say hi or even make eye contact. Lines are half way down the store with many open registers and managers do not care. It is really sad to see the Nordstrom branding on this store when I can get better service and friendly staff from a thrift shop. Did not buy anything simply because I did not want to wait in a line as long as it was when it would have been really easy for managers to redirect staff standing around talking to each other to actually care about customers. read more

I always love coming here to shop. But today I have a very disappointing experience with the cashier check out. I was purchasing a few items and took a bottle of water out and thinking to get one as well. But then my husband stopped me and suggested we should go get bubble tea after shopping. So I gave it to him to put back the bottle of water. I was never given the bottle to the check out lady. And I went home and looked at my receipt I have noticed the water was charged to the transaction. I am very disappointed of your staff at the cashier. I have been a Nordstrom/Nordstrom rack customer for many years... their customer service has always been 100% amazing. Today, was not a good day! I went in to return a few items and this lady who helped my return was very unprofessional. She was rude and didn't even greet me... as she was scanning my items for return, one item did not show up. She checked my phone number and email associated with my cards and still my item did not show. She then questioned me if it was really on my card And I said, "yes, the items I am returning were bought together." She kept insisting that my item was not on there, and kept showing me the barcode as to why it doesn't matches the receipt! So...I ask for a manager to see if she can help me, but she refused to get any additional help and listen... rather she kept on insisting that somehow it was my problem! I almost felt like I was accused of lying! So, she went to search my item on my purchase log of past 65days and again, I questioned her as why she was searching so far back.. and she kept on insisting that my item was not on the receipt! Come 10min later she check the item and found a different tag that matched!!!! I was so furious... she didn't even apologize or even to the at least make the situation better! As she finished scanning she handed me a copy of the returned items and didn't bother to say anything else... she ignored me and returned to what she was doing prior to helping me. I get it's Nordstrom rack but they are still part of the Nordstrom family! And who they hire is a reflection of what that company stands for...Just today was not that day! read more

This Rack is decent.. It's definitely not at good as the Lynnwood location, but it is MUCH better than the one downtown. I found Savvy and TBD racks to be very picked over in comparison to it's Northern counterpart. The handbag department did look promising though and their men's shoes seemed to be fairly decent as well. The other thing I'm not loving about this location is that garments and shoes were completely strewn all over the place when I was in. Now, it was a Sunday evening, so I will take that into consideration... I will also take into consideration that this location is in Bellevue and the folks who shop in Bellevue are serious about their shopping... and who can blame them? Theory and BCBG at 1/2 price? Where do I begin with the Rack? When you first walk in, it feels like you've entered Narnia that just had multiple episodes of tornadoes. You find men and women alike wandering around looking up and down, inside and out, and you're really not sure if they are shopping or just as disoriented as you are. Careful, as there may be a pack of fashion-starved wolves who want that sweater way more than you do and will trample over your body to get it. It is common to find XL sizes tangoing with the XS-S designated rack and vice-versa. The cute stuff that come up once in a while in your endless search of a new wardrobe end up having holes in the armpits or where there was the security tag. Some of them have stains, and often some are obviously stretched out. You manage to find a pair of adorable, leather boots, and you look to only realize that it's 3 sizes too big for your feet. Am I supposed to find the other pair? Did Marc Jacobs really design these heels? It's the ugliest thing I've ever seen. Every time I wander through the shoe aisle, I start thinking that I would have a better time going barefoot or solving vector functions. The Rack is an upside down paradise; I am overwhelmed every time I think about which section I get to tear apart first. It's easy to delude yourself into thinking that each section has to have something for you. Is it the brand-name jeans, the sports bras, the jewelry (oh, the jewelry!)? You find yourself staggering over hangers and strewn pieces of sweaters, scarves, and t-shirts that were left on the floor. In the end, I only pick one or two articles of clothing to buy. The input of effort versus the output of rewards is pretty much unproductive. They have a disproportionate ratio of mirrors/dressing rooms to person capacity. I avoid the dressing room at all costs. It is an easier task to buy what you think may look good, go home, try it on, and drive back to return it as they have a decent 30-day return policy. read more

It is a Nordtrom Rack. Nice clothes, good deals, right? But this is a great Nordstrom rack, It was painful to go in here as a time waster and not leave with everything I wanted to buy. Fabulous organization. Items are easy to find and less akimbo than the downtown counterpart to this store. Betsey Johnson items on sale-- super steep discount. Mental note to come here for unmentionables. Faboosh leather dress marked down from $1100 to $400. Um, why don't I have that kind of disposable cash? Lots of dresses actually that are cute and range from a respectable $30 price tag to laughably way too much no matter how cute it is. Shoe selection that made me cry... Anywho, take your time and sift through everything. Good deals on good things to be found. Just make sure you have the $ to buy it all when you go. read more

When I lived on the East coast, I never went to a Nordstrom. I never had interest. Since moving out west, I've found that Nordstroms are absolutely everywhere and Nordstrom Racks are even more than everywhere. This was my first experience at a Nordstrom Rack. The clothes are great quality but everything is throw around kind of like a Kohls, which is strange to me. I never saw any employees straightening out the hurricane that came through. To be honest, I never saw any employees walking around besides near the front door, fitting room, and the cashier area. The shoe section is probably the worst. They have either sneakers or incredibly uncomfortable heels. I spent an hour looking for shoes and came back with nothing. There's no rhyme or reason to how the shoes are laid out and, like I mentioned earlier, there's no one there to assist you so you're on your own. Go to a DSW or Payless instead. The clothes. Easy to look through, despite the chaos. I'm used to it since I frequently shop at Ross. Note to customers: Be nicer to the employees. Everytime I've been in there, someone is giving lip to the woman at the fitting room or one of the cashiers. We're all people. We know you want your Michael Kors but it's not worth it to be disrespectful. read more

As Nordstrom Rack stores go this one is exceptionally disorganized and stressful to visit. Walking through the door immediately causes my heart rate to rise, and not in the way that shopping does, but more akin to waiting for my flu shot. The store is full of poorly behaved children and adults alike, it is as if one is stripped of manners when entering the area of "Bellevue" known as Factoria. The racks of clothing are not organized by size or style, even when I have planned a visit near opening time. The jewelry area is even worse, the necklaces are all intertwined, it is impossible for me to figure out, so I usually give up. The Downtown Seattle store has been given a makeover and I love it! Hopefully the Factoria store is on the list soon, I want to love it too! read more

This is the location I have been going to since they opened. Oh the memories! Compared to other locations, this one has much more inventory. Some Racks keep the shoes in their boxes, so they only fit however many boxes the shoe racks can fit. Not so at this location! Shoes are stacked 4 high in some places! They have a great selection of salon quality hair products: tigi, crew, purology to name a few brands. They are typically cheaper here than they are at other stores that carry them. They have a huge selection of men's suits, womens designer shoes, kids designer clothes, and even a nice selection of jewelry, purses, accessories, and home decor. read more

Every month, I dig dig dig for clothes here; from $200 jeans marked down to $60, $400 boots marked down to $99, $80 ties marked down to $12.00, you never know what you can find! The key is to go on a weekday, and be prepared to spend time finding what you want. If you need more items, 4 other Rack's are in the area. Today: $1,200 Hugo Boss suit: $149.00 Score! This took me about 45 minutes and some serious digging - but well worth it. read more

This is a busy Nordstrom Rack like most of them. I had to wait in line for 10 minutes with all the rest of all the checkout customers to return an item. They were staffed with 5 or 6 people at checkout counters, but still the line was slow moving. I couldn't believe they were so busy on a weekday. I'm not sure if the prices were cheaper or more expensive than the other Rack stores to comparison shop, but I could not find a comparable price for the pair of jeans I returned from the downtown location. Maybe because this is on the eastside that they raise the prices on stuff even though it is a Rack. The store was very well organized and maintained, but it felt a little cramped as they try to put as much merchandise out as possible to fit in the store space. read more

This might be my favortite Nordstrom Rack to date. The selection was outstanding and my fellow shoppers were not the typical crazed lunatics you encounter whilst digging for bargains. Maybe that's a Washingtonian thing? Maybe Californians are discount shopping a-holes which is why I was so taken by this out of state store? The check-out lines are always long - as to be expected - but this one moved along quickly and even had a helper at the front to point you to open registers. She had on a pretty turquoise sweater with a brown Coach scarf. I totally wanted her outfit. But that's beside the point... If I had to pick out the bad aspects, I'd have to say that the shoes are a mess. My California compadres might be dicks, but we keep the shoe racks very orderly. I still managed to buy a few pairs while I was there, but it wasn't easy. Sometimes I just need to pop into the Rack to get a pair of shoes and this wouldn't be a speedy task here. The location is also a bit "eh". The Factoria Mall is a smidge grubby and the traffic is intense. Bellevue really needs to reconsider its per capita placement of Target stores, because this Rack is located near the only Target for 20 miles. Ack! Love it though. For the most part. read more

My Nordstrom Rack of choice. It's a lot bigger than the downtown location and seems to get new stuff more frequently . Plus, FREE PARKING! I always seem to find more things at this location...maybe it's because its nestled in the Eastside and they stock it as such? In any case, I've found a number of gems here over the years among the racks and racks of clothes. The section where I've had the most luck is in shoes. I've scored a number a pairs that I found for up to half off while they were still being sold at Nordstrom! For that alone I heart this rack. Yes, you'll have to brave long lines and do lots of searching but if you're patient, you will be rewarded. If you don't believe me, you should check out my wardrobe. ;) read more

Maybe I'm losing my touch, or patience really with these places. One usually knows the type of crowds that come here and whether or not one can tolerate it. I'm much more of an Ebay type of girl; I know what I'm specifically after. If you can stand to loose an hour or two combing through dozens of items. I usually pass on on swimming through the women's clothing. Its usually a mess and the selection lacking. Same goes for the intimate apparel and the accessories. Generic bags that of Cole Haan and Juicy Couture will likely run out of style by next season. The shoes you may luck out in a little more here. I found a great pair of silvery Kate Spade's but for $200?! No Thanks. Better luck with the downtown Seattle Rack location. read more

Nordstrom Rack, you hurt my feelings! You try to lure me in with your crafty postcards announcing your BIG sales and I am always disappointed. Shopping at Nordstrom Rack is like trying to find a needle in a haystack. Clothes are EVERYWHERE. The men's section is a little neater, but the women's section always looks like a tornado hit it. If you actually DO find something great, you've got to make it through what I call the "cattle line". Its like livestock in line to be slaughtered at the checkstand. Don't even get me started on the shoe department. I have yet to find a decent size 8 shoe in the size 8 section. I just dont have the patience to crawl around on my hands and knees looking for a shoe I like so I can take it to the SHOE line to find its match. And wouldn't you know the matching shoe looks nothing like the one that was on the floor. That's because the ones on the racks/floors have been stepped on, thrown about, etc. etc. etc. Whew. Nordstrom Rack is good for "die hard" shoppers only. Shoppers who are willing to get down and dirty to find that RARE "great buy", and who then have patience to wait in line FOREVER to purchase it. And if you are at this location shopping for shoes - SHAME ON YOU. DSW Shoes is right next door and is 498734985734 times better than zee Rack for shoes. read more

This location seems like a small store. The store doesn't seem to be very organized either. It could've just been today since it's the Clear the Rack sale. Every time I go to this location I don't find much to buy which is unusual for me at the Rack! The prices are good though like all other Rack locations. The employees today were very helpful and friendly. That made my bad shopping experience better. The store is clean even though it's not very organized. Seems like a bad location for the Rack since that mall isn't very busy. read more

I bought 13 pieces of wonderful clothing designer names for $150 including tax a new wardrobe for summer time including workout clothes! Suzanne Taylor and Ben (didn't get his last name) but I think he's from Accessories. They are AMAZING. After seeing a post on Instagram, I HAD TO HAVE the item - a doormat. I sent 'nordstromrack' a message and also reached out to the original post. Apparently, although nordstromrack posted the item, they did not have the information to actually purchase the item - kind of ridiculous. So I called my local store - Ward Village in Honolulu, HI - as indicated. They did not have the item, nor did they offer any help in tracking one down. I started randomly calling NCAL rack stores. No one had the doormat. I continued to call NW stores: Alderwood, Northgate, DTSeattle, Auburn, Southcenter, they were all SOLD OUT of the doormat and everyone said, without UPC, they couldn't search for the item. When I called Factoria, Suzanne checked and said the item was sold out, but she would try to find it for me. She asked if she could call me back. I gave her my phone number, but asked if there was a way she could text me because my vmail wasn't set up. She said yes. I didn't think was really going to... but she actually texted me later in the day! When I called her back, she had left for the day, but I asked to speak to someone from Accessories. I got Ben. I told him the situation and asked if he could check on the UPC Suzanne had texted me to see if this item was available. Not only did he check for me, he told me every store that had the item in stock, how many they had in inventory, and the phone number for each store. I meeeaaaaan, who takes the time to do that for a sale they don't even get credit for?? Ben & Suzanne. That's who. I called the 1st store he listed for me and found the doormat at the San Francisco, Market Street Rack. I had them send me 2 of them... I am now thinking I should have ordered more, but I only have 2 doors. I am so, So, SO very grateful for the time and energy Suzanne & Ben took out of their day to help me track down the item. This is my favorite nordstrom rack location, by a longshot. I live in Seattle so you would think that the new westlake location would be on the top of my list, since it is right next door to the flagship... one would figure they have the best inventory. Wrong. I'd much rather make the drive out to this location to try to scope out some deals. The clearance section at this location is the best compared to any other rack I've been to. It takes up an entire section in the back of the store right in front of the shoes and I've walked away with steals. Usually most clearance sections end up being all larger sizes, but this one has a good selection for all sizes. A pair of 7 jeans on clearance in my size for $34.99?! Don't mind if I do! Tank tops and shirts from the tdb dept for $4.80? Sold. There's also a Target, DSW, and TJmaxx in this complex... so bargain shoppers can hit up everything in one stop ;) read more

This Nordstrom rack has a great selection of designer wear - especially shoes, with well-organized racks featuring Coach, Tory Burch, and so on. The clothing selection is also nice, with lots of racks of designer clothes, and not too jumbled up. On my last visit I scored some Michael Kors jeans (in a women's size, thankyouverymuch) and some gorgeous Cole Haan pumps, both at very nice prices. The line for the register looks nightmarish on a busy day, winding through the store, seemingly no end in sight. Actually, it moves pretty quickly, they just didn't design the space well for checking out, so the line ends up winding through the aisle. They keep it moving with lots of registers and guides, so points for that. The dressing rooms seem similarly imposing, but also keep moving, and the dressing rooms are clean and well-tended. What frustrated me was the main shoe department, which was an insane mad jumble of single shoes - it was very hard to see what was what, especially given how cramped the aisle is. Added to that, the way the shoes are all piled up, they get very shopworn, very fast. Not worth the frustration. read more

A good option to get some high-quality clothes that just arrived from the Nordstrom a few miles away. The place seems more DSW (which is next door) than Nordstrom, but I think that's part of the appeal: huge racks where you're equally likely to find $10 off as $200 off the original sticker. The place understandably favor women's clothes over men's, but the men's selection is fair and worth a trip there. Staff keeps the line moving quickly. Don;t let the fact that it can run 20 deep be intimidating; they can clear that in 5 minutes! Will return when in the area. read more

Love this one, probably the biggest one as well as more tidied and organized: considering just arrived here 30 min to closing. Men's on the left, with good selection of murses, summer dress shirts (plenty of new arrivals of Penguin, Calvin Klein). Best of all, the men's shoes rivals that of the women's! read more

My inlaws live very close to this Rack, so every time we go to visit we would go check this place out. It is probably the Rack I walk away with empty handed the most often, but that might be because I often time walk into this one without really having my mind prepped for some patient shopping... so, a lot of the time I just walk in and walk out... It's hit and miss here - sometimes I leave with more stuff than I needed or sometimes nothing at all. But I will say that it's a good Rack. They get most of their inventory from the Nordstrom's in Bellevue, so that is a good indication that they will have great items at discounted prices. I usually like coming here in the evening on a weekday because the weekends can get super busy, especially when people are shopping with carts, making it hard to get around everyone in the narrow spaces between the racks. There is always staff around, cleaning up the store, especially the clearance area. I've had to wait at times for a fitting room, but in general, it goes by pretty quickly. read more

I have recently found a new love for the rack! I like how it's part of the factoria mall because there are other great stores next door! Of course, store layout wise--they are smart. women's sections are large, women things in the entrances. way to attract your target audience. Let's see... aside from the cheaper prices on items, I think this location is great too. It was not as messy as I would have thought. Very well organized except for the shoe section. Gosh, I think it's worse than Ross... and Ross is pretty bad haha. I like their shoe mate idea though because people have no shame stealing. Their fitting rooms were nice and big although each stall was kinda small. I enjoyed the fact that even though they have a men's and women's side, they still let women in the men's side of the dressing room. How nice. I felt special because usually they wouldn't allow because of the sex preference. It was very convenient for me. Their lines are fairly long but they try their best to go as fast as possible. read more

I like this location. We came early on a holiday and it was pretty empty. Fairly organized. Pretty decent selection of shoes for size 5 Women, which is hard to come by. Most NR's (well, anywhere in general) have very limited selection when it comes to women with tiny feet. I found a bunch of shoes I liked, but didn't get - besides the point, so that made me happy. Lots of clothes in my size as well (XS/S) and most of the racks are organized based on size, unless it is a designer brand rack, then you have to search. Friendly staff. Not too chaotic. Lots of parking and easy to find. I am rarely in this area, but anytime I am, I stop in. read more

Recently reorganized and chalk full of amazing deals. Nordstrom Rack in Factoria has loads of cute stuff and an especially good accessories and bag section. You can now check out anywhere in the store. So all the employees in green shirts have mobile scanners....***read: no more crazy long lines!*** Found about a suitcase of stuff I was NOT looking for on a recent visit- dresses, new purse, makeup and a birthday present. And of COURSE there are the shoes. Endless choices of shoes, steal of a price on some cute Toms. With DSW & Target right next door, you can't go wrong by making a pit stop here about once a week. read more

I frequent this store and I've never had bad experiences. Until today. I went to return some online order items and I gave all the items along with the packing slip. The lady at the counter didn't even greet me and just yelled "order form!" to me. I was like " what...?" Then she yelled something like "give me your card!" I was really confused and she sounded really upset with me for not understanding what she was asking for. The items may have been from more than one order so she might not have been able to locate the items. But she was like drill sergeant barking orders! She was clearly annoyed with me asking questions. The name on my return receipt says Elina K. Nothing would justify her aggressive attitude toward me. I guess I'm going to avoid her if I ever shop there again. read more

HOLY CRAP THIS IS THE BEST NORDIES RACK EVARRRR! i live down in sf where our nordstrom racks are all busted and dug through. you may find maybe ONE pair of jeans in your size if youre lucky and dont even expect to find any jackets or anything. walking into this rack was like walking into heaven. everything was organized and hung up. nothing was trampled, there were racks and racks of hudson, true religion, rvca, citizens of humanity...all organized and ready to be taken home. i definitely found TONS of jeans in my size - too bad i came here ending my vacation rather than beginning it! read more

Sometimes in the wee mornings the store is clean as crisp. You can browse their selection with ease and the employees are willing to help you if needed. During the afternoons to evenings it gets messy.. oh and I mean messayyy. Like, really where did all the employees go? The women's wallet section is just disgusting to look at.. jewelry section is bare. At least the women's handbag section is decent to look at. And don't get me started on their women's shoe section. To be honest, any time of day it is a lost cause. If you wear a popular women's size.. or more specially an 8 or 8.5 you'd be wasting your time here. Might as well head over to DSW for a larger selection. The prices here are okay. I mean, these prices are similar like to the ones in the outlets up in Tulalip, North Bend, and Auburn. If you don't fancy a trip to the outlets then this Rack location is your next bet. read more

In today's retail world of increasing competition and dwindling sales, one would think that a store that built its brand on steller customer service would now strive to maintain, if not upgrade, that feature. One would think. But an 'interesting' (???) policy change thoughout the Nordstrom Rack division indicates just the opposite. After spending much time and effort convincing customers that shopping there was so convenient because - if one was a Nordstrom card holder - there were roving mobile cashiers throughout the store. Therefore, a card-holding customer did not have to stand on the long checkout line. There was no item number restriction, and -- as long as it was being done with the Nordy card -- one could also do returns in that convenient manner It was a mutually beneficial arrangement. As the employees are told to say, " Get a card; get rewarded". But that is no longer the case. Now having one of the store cards doesn't 'reward' you this with convenience.. If you are buying more than 5 items, you CAN'T use the mobile cashier. You MUST stand on the long check out line. If your transaction is a return, you CAN'T use the mobile cashier. You MUST stand on the long check out line. So, if the strategy behind the 'convenience' of the mobiles was to drive credit card applications, what drives this policy? A not-so-subtle way of saying, 'We really really don't want you to return anything so we're going to make it a frustrating experience" ? Does that sound like stellar customer sevice?. read more

Continuing to echo sentiments that have been noted before: this place is pretty much always picked over -- not to mention finding anything I'm searching for in my size is a close-to-impossibility. This, combined with the more-frenzied-than-usual shoppers [hence the scarce selection] makes a trip to this Rack almost stressful rather than the invigorating feeling I normally enjoy on a good shopping trip. I'd much rather coerce someone into driving me to Tukwila or even Downtown, which seem to get more stock, over wasting my time at the Factoria Rack, where I'm sure to find something I love in a size I can't fit =( read more
