Came here for dinner for a party of six people. Waited nearly 2 hours omg they were busy. This place got good vibes and a great place for a date. I ordered their filet and I think they could have cooked it a little better with taste. Medium rare was cooked right. Their brussel sprouts chips are delicious too however a bit too salty for me. Such a great restaurant. We ordered off the specials menu. Had the Burrata starter shared between two, it was perfect and delicious. I should have taken a picture of the menu, there were alot of fantastic flavors/ingredients in all the dishes. Burrata was topped with pistachios, pureed figs (I think) and honey, served with toasted bread. Entrees-Pan seared miso glazed Salmon atop pumpkin polenta with seared zucchini. It was absolutely delicious and cooked to perfection, so moist. Hubbie had the mole pork chop served with a jicama, apple slaw and another side, not sure but it was all crazy good. I'm not a pork person, but this was so delicious. Such a beautiful dish Dessert-Stracciatella and Tiramisu. Both were so delicious. The Tiramisu, you could taste all the fresh ingredients used to prepare the dessert. Drew was the best server, pace and attention was perfect. Very nice restaurant, Chefs Amber and Art personally came to our table to ask if we enjoyed our meals. Loved talking to them about their history and how much they enjoy creating these wonderful one of a kind dishes. We will be back in a couple of weeks to try their new fall specials menu. read more

Just okay. Also used AMEX/Resy while dining here, and thank goodness, because everything is priced WAY too high. We started with the Artichoke Hearts, which were okay, but you didn't quite know where you were cutting and what you were getting. Got the Seasonal Mixed Greens salad which was the absolute standout of the night. Chose the Nook Burger for my entree and at first it seemed great, then I realized it was inconsistent - juicy and tender in some spots, then dry and chewy (I had to spit out one piece) in other spots. The fries were pretty bland and moist - nothing to write home about. Otherwise, the ambiance of the restaurant is okay, but the Valet seemed unnecessary and the small parking lot was annoying (I guess that's how they justify the Valet?), though I find this is a characteristic of hipster places that are well-reviewed and hard to get into (in several senses of the phrase). A mostly non-offensive place, but I can't say I like this trend of items being priced high only to be discounted for the select few, and I REALLY can't imagine anyone paying full price for anything here...except maybe the salad ;-) read more

Actually found this restaurant using open table on my way driving into Phoenix and so glad I did. The craft drinks are outstanding and the food is even better. Atmosphere I would consider to be trendy but the dress code was listed as smart casual. The only part that I didn't like was the noise levels were a little too much for me but it was a Saturday night. Adam our waiter definitely gets 5 stars as he was friendly and fast to serve us as well as check on us often. The entire staff was friendly and warm as well. Even though it is a little higher price point then your chain restaurants it is well worth it. Would definitely come back if I was back in town. read more

This is A mixed review of what I think can be a 8/10 spot performing at 7/10. Good location and atmosphere to match, I would have done the seating different trough out but I like that the bar is a good size and has a off section to its self. The food is good, but needs some small adjustments needed to become great. The Pizza was baked right with good ingredients but lacked the tomato sauce acid and cheese melt ratio. The crust has sprinkled with Parmesan cheese that's baked on to crisp and applied again after its baked as well that gives it a unique and interesting texture that I enjoyed. The pasta was again prepared well, but lacked some sense of completeness. Cacio e Pepe is traditionally a very simple dish so I understand the understatement of this dish but feel they could have added something or changed prep to give this a more balanced flavor profile. I'm optimistic about this restaurant and think it will get better as they sow their seeds in this new location, they are on the right path to great food and almost there. read more

The service food and drinks were all fantastic here. We came in on a Wednesday for HH and enjoyed the incredibly made drinks from the bartender. The flavor and thought put into these drinks were just awesome- they know what they're doing. Then, we ordered apps and the Brussels sprout chips were delicious. Next - pizzas! This was our first time, and we will certainly be back. The wait staff were very attentive and personable. We started with the Arancini which is in the top 5 I have had. We loved that when we ordered a Caesar salad, they split it into 2 bowls for us. Lovely salad with fresh greens. For the main course we had the Bolognese and Beet Stuffed Shells. Both were excellent. The beet stuffed shells were like unlike anything I have ever had and very good. For dessert we shared the Strawberry Tiramisu. I've reviewed them once but I have to submit another because I had one of the best dinners I've ever had. On my way back from Sedona with a lovely man, we called to see if they had a reservation for 7:30 on a Friday. Surprisingly enough, despite the little space, they did. I asked if they had any vegan options and he said "salad". I decided to asked if by chance they had pasta and he said "of course, we can do something for you." We get there and my date orders a nice scotch as an appetizer and a bottle of a wine neither of us had heard of. The waitress was very sweet to notice we wanted time to talk and was extremely accommodating to the vegan thing. She suggested the artichoke (which ended up being amazing) as she poured a glass of a delicious red wine. Later she came back to say that she had asked the chef about a veggie pasta and he was ready to whip something up. My date decided on a spicy red pasta with shrimp. We enjoyed our wine to the world poker tournament and it was brilliant...being at what felt like 5 star food and getting to watch the tournament (cup? Idk). My date has roots in Sicily and said, "you can tell the chef knows true Italian cuisine. This is incredible." It made me so happy to have been the one to choose this place for our date. I'm embarassed of my prior review of calling them Mac n cheese balls when they're clearly arancini! Overall, this was not only one of the best dates but also the best dinner. Now I go out a lot not crazzzyyyy lot but a decent amount. I never felt sooooo welcomed in a restaurant as I did this evening. Our waiter Adam was soooooooo attentive and knew exactly what our 8 people orders were...WITHOUT... pen and paper... he ensured glasses were full and questions were answered clear and upfront... The Brussels were on POINT!!! (Cause sometimes they can hold in the oil you cook them in and cover ya mouth in grease..tmi...lol) The calamari had a perfect crispness to it and even had the little tentacles tagging along lol... and those fire roasted olives were heavenly to the most high lords lol...I'm a burrata queen and this burrata was silky smooth and was perfect with my pizza.... My aunt had linguini with meatballs and gave it a 10 outta 10....Everyone enjoyed their meals... presentation was neat and the taste was clean... I enjoyed the fact that you can see the pizzas go in the wood oven in front of you... this place was beautiful and had an intimate and welcoming feel thanks to Nicholas (owner) and all his staff... Nook kitchen was not in the itinerary for my bachelorette weekend. However, we got hungry after visiting a local bar and I decided to browse on Yelp for good restaurants nearby. I am happy to say the food here looked just as good as the pictures did! Everything was fantastic and extremely fresh. I didn't think we would find decent pizza is AZ but the ones here blew me away! I ordered spinach and grape salad $18 for the salad which is such small serving and loaded with too much dressing and then another $18 for the 3 tiny scallops which is seriously the so small probably 1.5 inch in diameter , I was so shocked. Loved this place!! Food was so good, and so so fresh. Most of my party ordered pizzas, they were made in the beautiful stone pizza oven and arrive tasting of the most fresh ingredients.
