Signature dish , with added pork belly. Definitely a very rich dish, flavor packed. But beware, tastes very oily

Great service, small joint, feels authentic, feels like a family's home food. Refreshing to have some different chinese fare - their soups. However, I don't think I was impressed enough to choose this place as a repeat out of so many other places we're spoiled with in the area.

Service is fast and no fuss. Love the thick noodles. Ambiance is nothing to write home about, here for the food

A small cozy spot in North York with plenty of noodle options available, mainly suited for parties of 2. I got the three delicacies noodles with gravy, which was loaded with toppings: shrimp, egg, pork, mushroom, dried lily, dried tofu, and fried gluten. The online ordering via QR was easy to navigate and there were lots of customization options. I appreciated all the little touches to make sure the experience was comfortable - there were baskets to hold belongings/jackets, plastic bibs, and even hair ties given out. The chairs aren't the most comfortable on the other hand, though it will do the job for a quick meal. When my noodles came, the staff did ask if I needed any more sacue/gravy and that was welcome as well. I thought the portion was great and the bowl was balanced with a variety of textures and toppings. There is also a cash discount too which made for a fairly filling and good value meal.

Excellent service! The server is friendly. Once I sat down, she provide a basket to me to put my belongings and put next to me. The restaurant is small and can have around 20 people to sit. I always passby and saw the restaurant is 80% full . I finally get a chance to sit in in mid afternoon. It is clean and inexpensive. I took beef entrails noodle with original noodle. I asked for more coriander. There is some spicy in it . I add a bit of vinegar will enhance the layers to the noodle. The beef with naan like bread is ok. It is a bit dry and I believe it should goes with some vinegar veggies like carrot or turnip with some coriander will taste better. Total I pay $20 and I felt happy and comfy after this meal. Great job.

I've dined here once, and we got the Signature Noodles (thick noodle), Beef Brisket with Bone Soup Noodle (thin noodle), and their Mixed Vegetables. First off, we loved the fact that we get to choose the noodle, salt level, oil level, and spice level for the signature noodle (noodle and salt level for the bone soup noodle). The service has been great, especially for a place that sells pretty affordable noodles. They kept checking in on us (not in a pestering way), and asked if we wanted to adjust our salt level to make it more salty. It was also a nice touch that they had plastic bibs so we can slurp them up with no care in the world. And especially the thin noodles had a nice chew to the noodle although both were pretty good. The thick noodle was much thicker than I had thought but it was still tasty. I've enjoyed their dishes, and I'd love to try their Dawang Seafood Noodle next time as I've read great things about it.

Food 3.5/5 Service 5/5 Vibe 4/5 A noodle spot for noodle loves. 2 different types of noodles, one is flat wide, the other is thin and round. Service was great, very informative. They even give you hair tie and apron, thats a very nice gesture. Food wise, i think it was good (not like WOW but good). Yes there is a lot of topping with is something they thrive to provide to their customers, but i personally yes the quantity is great but everything is super thin sliced. But for me, i like my pork intestine or beef intestines chunkier which gives it more of a chewy texture than thin (personal preference) So overall, 4/5!

Truly outstanding service by my server. Was walking on Yonge Street looking for dinner and saw their menu on their window. The price looked good! One signature bowl for $13.99. Upon entering, only one patron was there so the server (red dyed hair but regretfully I don't know her name) greeted us immediately, sat us, gave us a bin to put our belongings in, and answered questions we had about the menu and item customizations. After we ordered, we were given bibs and a hair tie. While we waited, I took notice of how clean the establishment was. Napkins were placed in a vertical container that optimized the table space. We then got our chopsticks and signature bowl which contained egg, tofu, tofu skin, beef, and cabbage. It was very tasty! I ordered normal salt, less oily customization.. I thought it to be on par with Magic Noodle quality, but the service and cleanliness of Noodle Legend blows Magic Noodle out of any competition. As the evening went on, it became a full house with every table filled by the time we finished our meal. In terms of service, our server always kept an eye on our table, made sure to clean up any garbage from our bib and chopstick wrappers, and refilled our water without prompt every single time. 11/10 service! Our server went above and beyond so I wouldn't expect this level of service all the time but they've definitely earned me as a repeat customer. Overall, I highly recommend this establishment! The best service I've had in a very long time.

Saw a line for cheese garden 6th anniversary promo and decided to get some noodles here instead. It's a clean place with nice decor. Really got that casual "drop in for quick lunch" type of feel. There's a menu on the wall that's all in Chinese, but they have english translations on their paper menu. Note that there are additional items on the menu that are handwritten without English translations and added as small stickers such as their rou jia mo which I guess people call a Chinese burger. Literally wouldn't know unless you can read it, asked about the stickers, or saw someone ordering. They specialize in noodle, as the name suggests. I got the anhui beef pan mee. The amount of beef is non existent, but the noodles are good. What I suggest is to order a rou jia mo for 5.99 if you have a dining partner or two and split it. The amount of meat in there is like 5x what you get in the noodles. The service is quite nice. They have staff pulling up stools for you to put your jacket on and does water refills. Honestly wasn't expecting something like this so it's a quite interesting. Giving it a 5 star despite the menu situation. Personally I find it kind of amusing although it's understandable if you can't read it or think it's unprofessional.

Being a noodle lover, I had to check out Noodle Legend. It's perfect on a chilly day. It's a cozy spot with tables set up in two's throughout the restaurant. It's relatively affordable under $15 per meal, with outstanding service. During dinner time, it does fill up, so best to go with a smaller group to get a spot. We ordered the Signature and something different: the beef entrails (beef heart, lung, tripe) noodles. We would've tried the seafood one but it was sold out. Entrails is not something I eat often. Don't remember last time I had heart. It's not bad, but we both prefer the Signature more. It would be better if the Signature had a soft-boiled egg like Japanese ramen shops, but it's just a hard-boiled egg. There's a generous portion of entrails meat, more than I could finish. You can choose thick or thin noodles and sometimes catch the chef pulling some noodle dough at the back. Both the noodles came with similar broth, peppery with a bit of a kick from the chillies and medium in salt level. There's a hint of the numbing Szechuan peppercorns, not overbearing. You can adjust the seasoning/saltiness by asking the staff. It says so in Chinese at the corner of their menu (I wonder why it's not in English?). The staff is attentive, checking in on us and honestly providing way better service than expected at this price range. You'll be sitting on stools, and I like that they offer you a basket to hold your coat and belongings. They also give you a plastic bib to protect you from splatters when you enjoy your noodles! Very practical and these small details really adds to the positive experience.

Our server, Sophia, was bubbly and friendly, giving suggestions and helping with the ordering process for the other person who wasn't as sure what they wanted. We eventually went with two appetizers and two entrees, which was more than enough food, and honestly, we could have only ordered one appetizer. The better of the two appetizers was the CAD 8.95 Hand Shredded Pepper Chicken/手撕椒麻雞/Shou Si Ji. The dish consists of cold chicken in a flavorful sauce, topped with some greens. The chicken was tender, with a mild, pleasant spice and a bit of numbingness from the Sichuan peppercorns, along with some fragrance, presumably from sesame oil. It reminded me a bit of salivating chicken you find in some Szechuan spots, but it was more aromatic and a bit less spicy. The other appetizer was the Steamed Edamame/岩鹽毛豆 with Himalayan pink salt for CAD 5.95. The other person chose between this and the vegetable dumplings, as he avoids pork, and it was, of course, lighter than the other appetizer. The decent portion of edamame was topped with some pickled carrots as a garnish. My main dish was the Braised Beef Noodles/紅燒牛肉面/Hong Shao Niu Rou Mian. The dish included several options, including size, noodle style, and spice level. I chose the large for CAD $20.95, medium spice, and for the noodle style, I chose flat/宽面, as it was closest to the prism style I like at Lanzhou spots in the States. Along with these, I also added a tea egg for an extra CAD 2.95. Outside the add-on, the dish also had a couple of large slices of radish. Compared to some spots in NYC, I slightly preferred the QQ/bouncy texture of the noodles at a spot near me. However, the broth was better here with a balanced amount of mala, though I would likely order spicy next time, as I tend to add chili oil to the relatively lighter Lanzhou broths. The beef was also much better, being tender with a mild chew regardless of whether it was tendon or other cuts. The tea egg was flavorful and worth the add-on, especially when the inside was dipped further into the broth. I can see why others order this. The other person went with the Signature Stir-fried Noodles/招牌炒面/Chao Tatiaozi. There was an option of protein, and he went with Chicken for $17.95 and added the same egg. I tried a bit, and there was a pleasant pepperiness with a bit of numbing flavor, but less than my dish. The noodles had a good bounciness and overall had a slightly better chewiness than mine. This was lighter overall, but also tasty. This spot has apparently come to the US already at the Mall of America, and I would love it if there were a location closer to me. Good place.

We decided to walk up to Queen Street to see something we hadn't seen and seemed like a good area with a wide variety of restaurants. I was almost writing this review for the one on Dundas Street, but realized there are a few locations in downtown. Glad I double checked. We walked up along Spadina to Queen, not all the way up to Dundas. We were weighing options, but we were unsure what we wanted and struggled. We almost ended up at another restaurant with live music outside, but we weren't being served and wasn't enthusiastic about their menu. So, we looked at a couple of options. We didn't want Chipotle or Chick Fil-A; I can get that anytime as I live near those in Maryland. Also, I wanted cuisine that was harder to find near where I live. Ultimately, we settled on Mogouyan Hand-Pulled Noodles. After a lot of hunger trying to decide, this ended up being an excellent choice. Server was friendly answering our questions. It was moderately priced. We got their hand-pulled noodles, which was a large bowl, and was delicious with beef, veggies, & plenty of noodles. I also got their Japanese Toki brand whiskey. This was a FINE choice at a reasonable price. We got into some conversation with the server about being from the US and various other topics. This was an excellent experience, highly recommend.
