I had the company come out on 09/20/2025 what an experience not in a good way. As I was leaving, I was shocked to see my entertainment center at the entryway of the complex (broken in parts). It literally fell out of their truck. Of course, in a panic, I frantically park my car to move it the best I could out of the entrance to the complex before any cars tried to leave. I reached out to the team that left and was told they couldn't come back for 45 minutes. I immediately fired off emails stating what happened. My entire day was ruined because I had to stick around to see if the items were going to get picked and I felt the need to drive around to see what else dropped out the truck. No surprise as soon as I finished pulling the entertainment center to the curb and getting back in my car, I turned the corner out of the complex to find a large piece of a computer desk in the middle of the road near the major intersection. I went into another panic because cars were running over the board and I was afraid it might flip to hit someone's car. I again raced to park to see if I could run out into the middle of the road before cars came but the piece was run over several times that it landed in the worse location with the view being blocked by oncoming traffic from the opposite end. I couldn't get a grip on the board because cars were coming so I'm literally in the road trying to kick the board to the side of the road with my foot (yes it was painful). Luckily, one car saw my efforts and stopped. It was not a cool temperature day and I'm no spring chicken (which I'm surprised I didn't have any health issues from the adrenaline, embarrassment, frustration and desperation to move these items). Since I couldn't leave this heavy board on the side of the road, I'm literally trying to carry this wood board back to where the entertainment center fell out the truck (definitely not a short walk). It was exhausting and humiliating to run around and lift items that should've been hauled away given the amount paid for just a few items. I finally was able to speak with a representative who made an offer based on my troubles created by their team. I agreed to the offer from the representative and waited what is more than a reasonable time period (9/22/2025 to12/2/2025) without any luck. While there are things that can happen when the team is working from one job to the next, it is more important how the company handles the issue with the customer that can change how the overall experience is viewed. It makes the difference in showing that a small company stands by it's service and sets it aside from the bigger companies. Unfortunately, I was extremely reasonable even when the worker was going to lose a week of work for the incident. I was completely against this in today's economy and just asked that improved quality standards be in place so it doesn't happen again. I understand the workers are doing this all day so things are going to happen. Again, it's not about what happened during the service as the biggest issues, it's about how it is handled by the company. I do everything I can to support small businesses but I think the more I do the more problems I experience. As someone who wants to extend as much grace as possible, the constant waiting on the USPS at this point is beyond reasonable. Nevertheless, I wish the company the best and hope they take this as a lesson learned to improve how to resolve issues immediately. I didn't expect to be part of the crew that day with having to move my own heavy items out of the street when I paid for someone else to do it.

    I would give zero stars if I could. Absolutely terrible experience. We booked this company weeks in…read moreadvance for a move and were quoted $1,400 for 4 hours of moving, only for them to completely fail to deliver on move day. Our movers were scheduled to arrive between 8-9 AM. At 8:45 AM, when I called asking where they were, the representative suddenly claimed the arrival window was actually 8-10 AM, despite both our confirmation text and email clearly stating a one hour arrival window. Fine. Frustrating, but we accepted it. Then at 9:45 AM, they called and told us they were "fully booked" because their guys called out and wouldn't be able to move us until after 3 pm. Completely unacceptable. We live in a city where loading docks have to be reserved in advance for apartment moves. Their poor planning threw our entire day into chaos and left us scrambling at the last second to find another moving company within hours. Thankfully, another company came through immediately and completed the entire move for a fraction of the price. The most unbelievable part? Their slogan is supposedly a "stress-free moving experience." This was the exact opposite. It was one of the most stressful moving experiences I've ever had. To make matters worse, when I called requesting my deposit back, I sat on hold for 8 minutes during an already incredibly stressful day, only to be told they would need to "review" the refund request because technically I was the one canceling. That is absolute nonsense considering they were the ones unable to fulfill the scheduled move. I genuinely do not understand how this company has so many glowing reviews based on the experience we had.

    Had lots on CRT TVs, some dressers, etc to remove. Called, emailed a lot of places but too…read moreexpensive. Found Junkman on Yelp, called, they responded immediately. I sent photos of what I wanted removed, they gave me an estimate over phone. It was higher than I thought but on par or lower than others. They came out, we agreed on a price, started work immediately. Didn't damage the walls or floors. David (mgr) and his crew were professional and got job done in reasonable time. I highly recommend Junkman.

He called the day of the appointment and said they needed more notice even though it had been over a week since I booked the service through their website for the services they addressed in their quote. My coworker told him he had to ask me about rescheduling and they weren't on the line when I picked up. They never called back so I called them. They offered to come back the next day and I said ok. He showed up the next day and tried to increase the quote because nothing was staged for them to pick up. Never a part of the quote or discussed when the quote was handled. I addressed it with him and he proceeded to argue with me about it. I sent him and his helpers on their way. I've used other haulers that show up when they're supposed to and don't bicker about things not being staged and try to charge you more. I was looking forward to getting junk removed today and it didn't happen because of unprofessionalism from the owner himself. We'll get it removed elsewhere. I'm reading bad reviews here and seeing his responses and they're funny because he's calling out his own customers to make it out to be their fault instead of learning from his mistakes. He was cool when he came to give the quote and was someone else when he showed up to get the job done - which never got done. And he was happy to walk away when I told him forget it I'll call someone else. Never tried to make it better. Absolutely ridiculous. Stubborn and rude and not what you'd expect from the owner of a company. It's junk removal. Period. I can get someone else easily who does things the right way and puts their customers first. *UPDATE* and there you can see below for yourself his response to my negative review. Do yourself a favor and call a junk removal company who will take negative reviews seriously, honor their original quote and not argue with customers. I'll stop my "madness" now.....
