This is probably the worst experience I have ever had with a company…read more After dropping $28K (non-insurable damage) on remediation and reconstruction, my takeaway is that I should have listened to the constant red flags throughout the month-long process and just switched to a different contractor. You assume high dollar means high quality; throw the assumption out the window - apparently you can hire anybody off the street to do this work. First, before I could even sign a contract and pay a deposit, the remediation crew came unexpectedly knocking at my door to start work at 9am - the problem is that this was also BEFORE ASBESTOS TESTING. Servpro could have seriously endangered my house, my family, and their crew with mesothelioma due to incompetence - THIS IS INEXCUSABLE! Once the contract commenced, the remediation should have taken two days, but dragged on and on over three weeks due to laziness, being "too hot" (in spring), and I kid you not, being scared. Why these people signed up to do construction work if they are scared is beyond me, but the last thing you want to hear is that a $28K crew is "too scared" to complete a job. Every time the crew pretended to be finished, I had to expose myself to the damaged area to check over their work, point out the problems and get yelled at by office staff, and have the project manager come verify that low and behold, the client is not lying. In total the PM was at my home 5 times to ensure that the 22 line items in our contract were completed. Near the end of this process we uncovered an additional area with damage that needed an addendum, which does make getting quotes difficult if the initial estimate is not thorough. This additional work required two different remediation crews to complete since the office started catching on that the first crew was going to take too long. Luckily the reconstruction crew was completely different (a subcontractor) that actually did the job right the first time. They got their tasks knocked out over two days - and did it correctly without incident. Unfortunately for my timing, this all happened as the company exchanged franchisee owners, so everything will just be ignored as "old ownership problems", but the feedback here is not on ownership, but with the ethos of how this location can get by doing the bare minimum while charging top dollar; all with no accountability. Superb movers caused ~$24,000 worth of damage during their move and refused to pay or assist…read more * I moved out of an apartment in Nov 2025 and witnessed Oscar of Superb movers hit the apartment's loading pay garage door with their U-Haul truck. Luckily, I also snapped a picture at the time of the accident. The damage occurred because the door was not high enough for the truck to fit and Oscar of Superb movers didn't double check the height of the door. Once he made contact with the door the just kept driving causing significant damage. * The apartment complex attempted to contact Repwest, the insurer of the U-Haul vehicle, but Superb movers lied and stated that I said the incident was the fault of the apartment complex. Because of this, the apartment complex failed to complete the insurance claim. * In March, I received notification from a collection agency that I owed ~$24,000 for damage to the apartment building caused by Superb * I called Latifa Brooks, the owner of Superb movers to verify their insurance. What the moving company did not tell me is that the insurance company did not insure the vehicle or transportation to and from the first residence to the second residence. Superb moving was not going to pay for this damage. * Superb movers stated that they hired contract workers for the day, and that the contract workers rented the U-Haul truck. When pressed, Superb refused to tell me who was working with me that day. They stated that 'they forgot who they hired that day'. While going back through my phone logs I was able to find the phone number of the mover and did some research to find his name; Oscar. This makes me wonder wonder how Superb's payroll and accounting looks if they can't remember who they are hiring on a daily basis. * I received the video of the U-Haul truck rented by the movers hitting the garage door causing damage. With this evidence, I called U-Haul to submit an accident claim. I could only submit a claim on behalf of Oscar, the driver, if I had the plate number. Luckily, I witnessed the accident and got a picture of the plate since the video was not clear. * Repwest, the insurance company who insures U-Haul vehicles received the video from me, and took responsibility for the accident at the end of March. Superb did not submit an accident report because Oscar was the renter. Oscar did not submit a report with Repwest because he's incompetent. Folks, remember if you hire a moving company, it is best if they own their own vehicles. If not, make sure they have vehicle insurance as well as standard business insurance. If they hire contract workers, make sure you get the information for the person who is responsible for the U-Haul and the plate for the vehicle which they rented.

The first mover showed up 20 min late, the second mover (with the truck) showed up an hour late, and the third mover showed up 2.5 HOURS LATE. Pretty crazy. The movers finished around 4 PM and then company charged us for 5 hours of work with 3 movers, even though the third mover was 2.5 hours late. We weren't happy with this price and didn't pay the invoice immediately, and the company proceeded to call us 7 times in the span of an hour. Not only that, they had one of the movers come BACK to our address at 8 PM, knock on the door, and then ask me to answer his phone because his boss was on the line. That's pretty creepy, considering they know where we live? Are they just going to show up whenever because we didn't immediately pay? Dang, are they going to show up because I wrote this review? Oh, and one of the movers damaged my desk (they disassembled it when moving, and lost one of the nails so that part of the desk is wobbly. The leg was also damaged during the move). Moving is already stressful, and this company definitely made it a lot worse.
