Finding Carlos' Junk Removal was a blessing. We obtained his services to remove a great deal of junk that had accumulated in my parents' home over the years. Carlos' estimate came in at around 50% of the five other services that we contacted. The day that he was scheduled to complete the work, Carlos contacted me to ask if it would be possible to complete the job two hours earlier, because he was already in the area and had completed his previous job more quickly than he had anticipated. A 50% discount and arriving early to the job? I have rarely had such a good experience with a contractor. In completing the job, Carlos and his team were thorough and efficient. Though they sped through the immense pile without a break, and when they were finished, there were no scuffs to the drywall or the door frame. Additionally, he and his team were polite and professional whenever they spoke with me. I would plainly say to anyone, do yourself a favor: When you need such service, start by calling Carlos and you will save yourself so much time. read more

We needed to remove two power recliners from the second floor of our house. Carlos replied to my request within minutes with a quote and we quickly agreed to an appointment date/time. On the day of the appointment, Carlos called to let me know he was on his way. Once at my home, Carlos and his co-worker quickly sized up the job, got their tools, disassembled the chairs so they would fit down the stairs (without "dinging" the walls), and had the chairs in their truck in about twenty minutes. I was amazed at how fast and efficient they were. The overall experience with Carlos was outstanding, from the first engagement on Yelp, clear and friendly communications, very fair price, and the care he and his co-worker took with our home. I am very grateful and highly recommend Carlos Junk Removal! read more

Carlos got back to me within a few minutes of my query with a request for details and a very reasonable quote. He and his helpers arrived early in the morning, as scheduled, on a national holiday and finished the job very quickly. Carlos was so happy, friendly, and engaging that the experience was quite enjoyable. What was most impressive was when he carefully wrapped our old, heavy, flaking couch in plastic wrap before taking it down the hallway to the elevator. We had been afraid that the couch would "snow" all over the hallway and we'd be left to clean up a mess. But not one flake fell on the floor of our apartment or the hallway to the elevator! Carlos is a real professional and a reliable, trustworthy, and lovely person. The service he provided was superb. I am so glad we called him! read more

I sent out my request to have someone pick up my couch yesterday. I had communication with numerous people and finally settled on one. Unknowingly I also booked Carlos. The other person came and picked up the couch in the morning. To my surprise Carlos showed up in the afternoon with his helper. I explained that there had been a mistake. He had traveled about 1hr to my house so I was expecting a negative response from him. But he was understanding of the situation and I was surprised at how professional he acted. I thought the least I could do was give him a good review for how he responded to a bad situation. I got his card and plan to give him some business in the future. read more

Carlos and the team were incredible! They showed up on time, made quick work of disassembling my bed, and took it out to their truck in an efficient manner. And my bed was a tricky beast, I'd had it for 10 years, 3 moves, and it had some stubborn screws. I was just sitting down to answer some emails when they let me know they were done. Wild. And so affordable, easily the best price in the area. And they were so patient with me when I had to run to the bank; I was a mess of user errors and they were so wonderful about it all. 10/10, will be using for all future junk hauling needs. Thank you so much! read more

Working with Carlos was exceptionally well. I contacted a few junk removal companies, but Carlos is the only one who responded within minutes. He was able to provide a quote over the phone which also happened to be one of the cheapest in the area. He was able to come out the same day to pick up the item and provided an ETA. Once at my residence, they were in and out within 15 minutes. He was extremely professional and kind! I will definitely be using their services in the future if need be. If you are looking for a competitive price and professional individuals look no further, Carlos is the person! read more

I'm in the process of remodeling my bedroom so I reached out to Carlos to get a quote to haul away some extremely large bedroom furniture that I've had for over 15 years. Needless to say, he responded with a quote that was much more reasonable, and within my price range, than another company that wanted to charge double. They broke down the furniture and even took away two bags of trash that I had, all within the span of one hour, and they had also arrived a half hour earlier than our scheduled time. I would highly recommend this company if you need some items hauled from your home. read more

Absolute life savers! My search for a same day junk haul service led me to Carlos. He responded within 15 minutes with a time slot. Yelp only allowed me to upload 5 pictures of what needed hauled away, but when Carlos arrived he was attentive to what I actually needed and was very professional with cost adjustment. I needed this done today and he made two trips to ensure the mission was complete. If I wasn't moving out of state, I would use this business again. He was extremely appreciative of my business and I am appreciative of his service. Highly recommend. read more

Honest, he charged me what he quoted me. Reliable, he came at the agreed upon time. Efficient, he gave me a quote over the phone after I texted him a picture. And he brought everything thing he needed for the job, cleaned up and was gone promptly. Carlos and his crew removed a large/heavy lawn tractor that did run and had four flat tires (didn't roll). They muscled it out of the garage and into their truck. They were really nice guys, pleasant to work with. They will be my first call next time I have a junk removal need! Eric R., McLean read more

Found Carlos on Yelp after being discouraged by high prices from other junk removers (college hunks) who quoted an approximate $200+ price tag for removing a single matrass in D.C.. Carlos was super efficient! Responded to a text message quickly, gave me a precise price quote, showed up on time with a pick up truck and a buddy and took away the matrass for half the price of the alternative service providers. The only ask he had was to write him a review on yelp and I was happy to oblige. I highly recommend his service. read more

I called Mr. Carlos a couple of days ago to schedule my disposal of a couple of items. He responded right away and the conversation was great. He scheduled it for the day I requested with a reasonable and fair price. He and his team were on time, courteous, flexible and very professional. They were in and out within a matter of minutes (even though I forgot to mention my small doorway). Thank you Mr. Carlos and your team for taking care of my removal needs! I needed a very large, heavy, electric, sectional sofa and 2 large matching recliners removed after our elderly dog passed away. I decided to give Carlos a try. He came the same day, was very kind and professional and his pricing was great! I've since used his services 4 more times and plan to continue! He ALWAYS comes the same day or early the next, he's the nicest guy ever! He's very professional and his pricing is always great! I will NEVER use any other hauling service again! read more

Carlos did a great job for us removing a heavy desk that was unsaleable. His communication was great and he was very flexible with us since we couldn't confirm our pick up time with much advance notice. I called several other companies to get a quote and suffice it to say that any company with flashy trucks and marketing will cost a lot more. Carlos' price was quite reasonable and in line with what I expected. Definitely recommend and will call him again! read more
