We contacted NoVa Junk one day ago to inquire about their junk/trash pickup services services and contracted with them to pick up debris (some very heavy) torn out from our bathroom remodel project. They were able to text us a price, which they honored off of pictures we sent to them. The men called 20 minutes before arriving and immediately went to work loading everything up within minutes without disturbing traffic in the neighborhood. They processed our CC which sent a receipt to our phone and we were done. Huge thanks to all who made this a painless process. We highly recommend their services. read more

Nova Junk removed my old shed and concrete slab. They did a great job. They have a solid outfit - professional, knowledgeable, courteous, and as well as offer competitive pricing. I'd recommend them to anyone looking for anything like I had done, or something like junk removal, etc. read more

Our deep freezer died and we don't have the right-sized cars to take it to the recycling facility. Nova junk could not have made the process easier. I called them and they were able to pick it up same day, I left it on the curb so they could pick it up and take payment over the phone so I didn't even have to be there. Cannot recommend them enough! read more

I've used Nova Junk before and they always do a fabulous job. Very prompt, friendly service. Very careful with my walls and furniture. And last, but not least, the most reasonable rates you will find in all of the DMV. The owner is wonderful and works within your schedule. I recently had them move a huge file cabinet down a curved stairway. I just know another company would have said forget it, no can do, and moved on. Not this business. The fellows worked and worked hard until they got the monstrous thing down without even a minuscule ding on my walls. I will never use anyone else. I love these guys. read more

Great service at a reasonable price. They got back to me very fast to schedule a pickup and charged $145 to remove our couch. Scheduling was very easy via text and they gave me a three hour window for when they'll come. They called me about a half hour before the start of the window and said they'll be there in a half hour. They showed up right on time and were done in 5 minutes. The guys were very friendly and efficient and I'll use them again. read more

They came late/outside of the time window they provided, knocked a picture off my wall cracking the frame and did not apologize, then charged me more than what they had first quoted me. When I called to complain afterwards, I was made to feel that it was my fault by Sherrill (spelling)? Terrible experience. read more

Great experienc. I would highly recommend this service. I was disappointed in another service and i call this service. Cheryl was a gem. I didn't have to book an appointment before hand and she explained everything to me. It's great when you have a good service but it's even better when you have someone like Cheryl be so informative and so pleasant read more

Excellent experience. I had a small table to junk, and it was out of my house within a day of me contacting Nova Junk. They were prompt in sending a very reasonable quote, came on time (early in the window!), and were thoroughly professional and polite. I was also tickled that they greeted my cat, who normally dislikes everyone, but decided they were okay. Highly recommend for the courtesy, professionalism, and excellent service! read more

I live in Chantilly VA and had a great experience with Patriot Shredding. The price was really good, they coordinated the arrival with me ahead of time, and updated me on the expected time on the day of service. My destruction tech Kevin Brown was excellent and I was very happy that I chose them to help me get rid of my paperwork. read more

Fast response, cleaned out the junk and charity items we weren't taking when moving. Polite workers.

Awesome Company !! Norman is amazing! His crew did a thorough job of cleaning a deceased family member's home. The home was lived in by a hoarder and it was piled with debris as well as family heirlooms and useful items. Norman and his crew arrived on time and within four hours were finished clearing away a three bedroom, 2 bath home in Alexandria. The crew was respectful and saved any items they thought to be of worth (ie. antique pieces, furniture, passport, credit card, etc.). Their crew was not stopped by bio-hazards or dead rodents. Norman's knowledge of furniture and its value helped us decided what to keep and what to throw away as well and he made this process very simple and efficient. We stayed out of his way while his team did their work. Can't recommend them enough. Simple bill, no contract, insured, I paid online the following day. Great communication throughout the process. read more

The owner is top-notch & always on the ball. The pick-up gentlemen are extremely pleasant. They always come within the scheduled three-hour window. They give a notification phone call of projected arrival time of usually 30 minutes. Very fast workers. They have a credit card machine, so it's over & done with very quickly. I have always considered the cost to be fair and reasonable. I have never been disappointed in the last six visits as I empty out my home. read more

Nova Junk was great. We called and they came the next day, surveyed our junk, gave us a price and took everything away within hours. Very competitive price, too. Junk removers were friendly - offer them some water for their hard work. read more

I highly recommend Nova Junk. I hired them to clear out a medium size office and our storage unit. They were very professional, courteous and attentive to details. They asked questions to ensure they did not junk anything I wanted to keep. Omar, the supervisor was communicative and courteous. They even swept up the storage unit and the front area in front of the storage unit. No trace left behind. I will always use Nova Junk for any future disposals. Great company with a great team. read more

I am so grateful for this service! The company sent the nicest guys our way to get a couch out of our living room and haul it away. Daniel and Christian were polite, quick and swept the space when they had to make adjustments to the huge piece of old furniture to get it through our small stairwell. They even thought to move and protect our artwork!! So helpful and just excellent customer service all around. The price is very reasonable and saved me a lot of trouble. They are responsive and flexible with scheduling. Well worth it and will use them in the future! read more

NOVA Junk was very responsive when scheduling my junk pick up and gave me a call 30 minutes before arrival which was appreciated. I called the day before for the removal of a reclining loveseat. The Nova Junk team arrived early in the time window I had been provided, which was great! They were efficient in taking it out through the condo building hallway and stairs. read more

All their five star reviews are right on the mark. We hired Nova Junk to remove old furniture, grill, and some miscellaneous junk. Norman was incredibly responsive to my request for quote and to several emails with questions. Work was well within quoted price. The crew was amazing - they called ahead when they were on their way and they had enough people to do the work quickly. And... they were very nice and took great care getting stuff out. read more

I wish I could give Nova Junk 6 stars! Everything was great--the communication, the service, how they treated me as a customer. We were clearing out my dad's house to sell it. Nova Junk proactively set up a place for me to put things I wanted to save. When I said, "Oh, I should keep this, too, but it's heavy," they carried it to my car for me. When I realized I had forgotten about a clock I wanted to keep, they went through the trash bags from that room to find it. They carefully took away some of the beautiful things I couldn't keep and handily eliminated the things I never wanted to see again. I recommend this company to anyone looking to have attentive, kind, and capable people come and help clear out any sort of mess. All service companies could take a lesson from this one: treat the customer with respect and, in cases like ours, compassion. It's all gone, the house is empty. I'm a little sad about it. But I had caring people from Nova Junk working with me, which made it not such a bad thing. -- You know what? Make it 10 stars. read more

Fast, thorough, and prompt. Scheduling was an ease. The first day they couldn't find parking but rescheduled to the next day. Very easy.

They got back to me right away with a solid quote and came out the next week. Will absolutely use them again

We had a wonderful experience with this company! I called the office to set up an estimate to clean out my father-in-law's house. The person I spoke with was so pleasant and friendly, and she scheduled an appointment for me. On the day of the appointment, I got a call about 1/2 hour before arrival so I could meet them. Everything was on schedule with perfect communication, and I got my estimate via email within a couple of hours. We scheduled the clean out, and they showed up on time with plenty of help and equipment to get the job done. I cannot imagine trying to do what they did on our own -- in less than two hours no less! It was worth every penny. This company was professional, and I would not hesitate to recommend them or to use them again. I am so thankful for their help. read more

On time, efficient, and professional. Thanks guys for cleaning out my mom's attic! Norman and his whole team were sensitive to mom's feelings and reassured her through the whole process.
